They did not pull a permit. They did a bait and switch with equipment (what they intended to install was not what we contracted for). It'll cost me twice as much to rip out the garbage and replace it. They will not return the deposit. We are stuck with NO HVAC all summer.

I called and spoke with Jeff Senior and had an appointment for the next day. Jeff Junior arrived and informed me my Backflow Assembly was not testable and since it was installed in 2016 before non-testable Backflow Assembly was banned, I was grandfathered in from requiring yearly testing. However, my Backflow Assembly is required to be replaced every 5 years. Jeff replaced my Backflow Assembly the next day in less than an hour. The quality of the work and replacement Assembly was excellent. Throughout the entire process, both Jeff senior and junior answered all my questions and explained things clearly. I had 5 companies come to provide a sewer line replacement quote and Marino had a great price with a contract that clearly laid out the work to be done without any clauses to run up the price like other companies did. Work was done quickly without any issues and they also spent several hours after the sewer line was done making sure the soil was compacted down then put down grass seed and straw. All other companies were only offering to leave a mound of loose dirt. When a small part settled they came back out to fill the area and added more seed and straw.

I was able to set up a service date the very next day first thing in the morning and they arrived well within the estimated time window. The plumber, Chris, was able to diagnose my system and landed on the fix being a replacement expansion tank, pressure relief valve and a new hot water cutoff valve. Total cost of work was $900+, which fell towards the high side for this range of work, but I decided to proceed due to the job needing to be completed ASAP. The job took approx. 90 minutes to complete and once done, I was beyond satisfied with the quality of work. My previous setup was mostly shark bites and mediocre materials while the work Chris performed consisted of the proper fittings and quality materials. Fast forward a few days and the fix has not leaked a single drop! Overall, I could have shopped this around and gotten cheaper quotes for the same scope of work by a couple hundred bucks, however I don't think the quality of work would have been as nice and with such quick turnaround.
