Horrible service just trash job I took my Chevy up here for a transmission replacement brought the…read morevehicle home because it's a project car I'm working on from my stand point and my professional certified mechanic Brother inform me that this transmission among other problems after installing the transmission, it was done incorrectly and uncompleted. When I went there and asked for a manager or the owner, the employee proceeded to tell me " we're all in charge so just talk to me" I stay at the promise about the transmission that they had just installed a few weeks prior to the day, I was there the vehicle has not been driven from the second I open the hood and looked under the vehicle I could point out so many various things that was wrong on top of that The transmission leaking do not take your vehicle to them horrible work they will cause someone their life with the horrible work, God forbid The response from the employee, "we're all in charge so just talk to me," is also unprofessional and unhelpful. As a customer, you have the right to speak with a manager or owner to express your concerns and seek a resolution. I feel good about the service I received from everyone at Accucare. They immediately took a look at…read moremy car and found the problem and showed it to me in the garage. I am no expert, but I make many repairs myself and knew they were accurate. They also showed me the work they did after. Having an older car with over 300k miles I usually expect the mechanics to find other simple repairs to sell me on. They didn't. Price wise - they charged the same as the dealer BUT the dealer quote did not include additional labor for damage that made this repair a much bigger headache than it normally would and likely was more in labor than even Accucare expected so I'm not mad about it. Parts-wise: I do think I could have saved some money here with after market parts - but they would have taken longer to ship from what I was able to find online OR a lot of effort and time that I just didn't have to find parts locally and wouldn't expect Accucare to undertake the hunt beyond their initial inquiries to their own suppliers. I would also have had to pay more in rental car fees and probably lost out on the 90 day repair warranty so I am okay with that. Overall, I feel like I was dealt with fairly and the people were kind and didn't treat me like I was clueless or a hassle when I asked questions. I would feel comfortable taking my car to them again and recommending them to neighbors.
