Lovely, full bar with a moody, old school vibe! The prices were excellent, in my opinion. The drinks were well made. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. My friends and I really enjoyed having cocktails at Frankie's, and I will be back!

Ethan went above and beyond. Fantastic service. Loved our experience. Also best espresso martini in California

Came here for a Happy Hour cocktail Decent deal and drinks, wasn't very crowded and did take a bit to get drinks ordered but overall good.

Cocktail bar that serves only drinks! Casual atmosphere where no one rushes you, and the service is not rushed. Come for a chill experience.

It was refreshing to visit a place that is just a cocktail bar. It has a cozy atmosphere and the bartenders were all very friendly. They have the classics and a few of their own specials. I went with the black Manhattan and it was amazing. My wife got the redrum and it was a fun refreshing drink. The bartender accidentally spilled a little of my drink too while serving it and was very apologetic. He even took 10% off the tab, which was very thoughtful.

This place has a great vibe for an after dinner cocktail with friends in a cozy booth in downtown Oceanside. Friendly, casual service. An enclosed patio room in the front where you can sit a table & bring your dog if they are well behaved.

This is a sweet spot. They have a great happy hour between 4-6. The bartenders are attentive and the place is a very low key, low light environment. They have booths as well as tables. Not really much of a food selection.

This was mine and hubby's last stop on our date night. This was our favorite. Great drinks and atmosphere. Bar wasn't crowded at all and can easily have a conversation at the bar. There's also a small patio area out front. Staff was attentive and friendly. Amazing bar to end our night.

My gf and I decided to come visit here since it had some good reviews. We got to catch up with a friend and a quaint little place. I was kind of bummed two of the drinks I wanted to try but I guess they taste so good that they sell out which is a good thing. All of the bartenders were all super nice and pretty efficient. Nice little date night spot or even hang out with some friends on the patio! I'd definitely come back forsure.

I have to give a huge shoutout to Alexia and Asa!! they completely made my night! From the moment I sat down, both of them were so friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk to. Alexia makes you feel right at home behind the bar, super personable, quick with a smile, and she remembered my drink after just one order. Asa was just as awesome, fast, creative with cocktails, and clearly knows his craft. The drinks were perfectly balanced and came out fast even though the bar was busy. You can tell both Alexia and Asa love what they do! they create such a great vibe and make the whole experience feel effortless. If you're coming here, definitely sit at the bar and hope you get Alexia and Asa, they're the dream team!

The ambiance was incredibly warm, beachy, and romantic- perfect for a date night or girl's night. A truly beautiful space with an equally impressive menu! The entire night was filled with good bites only! To break it down: Seasonal Spritz: This was a sparkling wine with ginger, white peach, and citrus. So bright and refreshing! Honestly, my ideal spritz. Crudo: Highly recommend this starter! It featured thick cuts of yellowtail, watermelon, cucumber, ginger, thai chili, and thai basil. Really clean and fresh. I was surprised by the amount of fish we got! Local Catch: Another winner. This was roasted yellowtail with summer bean, tomato ragout, and Jimmy Nardello peppers. Absolutely no notes! Rigatoni: Our standout dish of the night! It featured summer squash, saffron butter squash blossoms, blistered tomatoes, and parmesan. I'm not usually a fan of cream based pastas, but this one blew me away. The veggies really brightened things up and I felt like I could eat plates and plates of this. If you get one thing, please let it be this! Since we mentioned in the res that we were celebrating, they brought out complementary champagne at the start of the meal. Loved that they treated us to cheeky little drinks- we're not the biggest fan of sweets!

The restaurant has a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The bar has a super chill vibe. The bar tender and wait staff is super friendly. They are all very knowledgeable about the wide selection of wines. The bar specializes in natural wines. With a huge variety of reds and whites. On top of that there is a small but varied and delicious menu of foods that goes from small snacks to more substantial pastas and fish. We tried the crisp, the rigatoni and the local catch. The crudo was light and fresh and the passion fruit oil was amazing and unique. The rigatoni was buttery and flavorful but surprisingly light. The local catch is light but substantial enough to complete the meal. The tomato sauce was delicate and sweet. Use the bread and butter to soak up the sauces or enjoy it on its own. Overall, the little victory wine bar is worth a stop!

We went for some drinks and something to eat after an event and it was the perfect place to wind down, listen to some great music and just enjoy yourself and your company. We had the charcuterie board with meat and it was perfect. There were a lot of different meats and cheeses I thoroughly enjoyed and a perfect accompaniment to the drinks, which was my main focus. I had the Exotica '58 Tiki and my gf had the Midnight Driver. Both were delicious and potent and looked incredible (see pic). We will definitely be back here but next time we might bring some folks to join the vibe... or maybe not. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

But, my…read moregroup ordered 3 drinks in total here and they were the worst cocktails I've had in my life, and they were $17. My friend ordered a "sexy boy" and it tasted like straight up Pine-sol. I LOVE something a little herbal or bitter-- this was not that, all 3 of us agreed it was undrinkable. She brought it back to the bartender for a lemon drop, that ended up being made sickeningly sweet, like biting into a cinnamon roll!! Can't we just get a normal drink!? There's a wide, wide range between Pine-sol and cinnamon roll. It almost felt insulting, honestly, like a bad joke.. I ordered one of their "specials" and it also came out tasting like cleaning solution. I know bitter Italian liqueurs, I'm not freshly 21, and I can usually get by with a drink I don't prefer, but this was (once again) soooo over-the-top bitter. It just didn't taste like something you should even put in your body-- cleaning solution is the most accurate descriptor. I was excited because this place has great reviews, but we must have came on a bad night.. I'd come back for the DJs, just order water or something in a can.

I wouldn't call this place a great dinner spot, not because of the food but because of the atmosphere. Even though we enjoyed all our food, my husband was in a bit of hurry to get out of here because he was really uncomfortable with the seating. The seating is more like patio-style furniture, so the chairs are very low. Since he is on the taller side, his legs were all bunched up the whole time. We had made reservations, but we didn't know that booking "Standard" meant that we were going to be sitting in the hotel pool area... this was probably our biggest complaint. Even though the view was spectacular, it was interrupted by kids jumping in the pool and occasionally splashing us and also just running by us. Also because we were by the pool, our cocktails came in plastic glasses which also made us feel a little slighted, especially since the cocktails are pretty pricey. The service was just okay. Our server was nice and we didn't ever feel like we were being neglected even though we were over by the pool and not in the main area. I just feel there wasn't anything remarkable about the service. I think when you are expecting to pay higher prices for an experience, you want more personable servers. All this to say, we were really happy with all the food we had! We had the 1/2 dozen oysters (my only complaint is that they did not disclose where they were from on the menu so you don't really know what you are paying for and it is pricey), the sea bass ceviche (super yummy!), the lamb, and the prawn special. I did not shut up about how yummy the prawns were all night, even after we left! Anyway, I think I would come back for drinks and maybe a dish or two, but we definitely won't be coming back for date night dinner again.

So I was totally irritated and boycotted this place. My anger subsided 2 years later and we went in. Sat at the bar, our bartender was slammed, apparently a group of like 20 just walked in ahead of us. We told her to chill, we are easy, we're not complainers (unless you really, really fuck up!) The bread is excellent. I thought I remembered them having lame hard breadsticks. No, they have really, really amazing bread. We ordered Calamari as well, and then ordered an extra side of the Calamari sauce to dip the bread into. Was only a dollar! Amazing sauce, like a vodka sauce sort of. We also got the Chicken Fantasia, and the Eggplant Florentine. SO GOOD. Both. I wanted to eat them both myself. My boytoy is Italian and super picky with Italian food. Apparently no one can make it as good as his Grandmother. It's like I live on the set of the fucking Sporano's sometimes, honestly. He's the Christopher, which would make me the Adriana. Anyways, he liked everything too. We will be back, I actually have one more expired Groupon to use at Dominic's next door, which is the same place. They gave me no hassle with taking off the purchase price of the groupon off the bill. I was ready for a fight. Manager did it as soon as she asked, no hassle whatsover. Only thing I don't love is the bathroom, it's like in the storage area or something? Not very nice. But it's the beach, real estate is limited.

My husband found this place and was interested because of the live music and it being a jazz place. We ubered there which seemed smart because it's street parking and seemed quite limited. There's a $5 cover on Fridays and Saturdays (I think they have live music both days) and we did not have a reservation. I think if you have a reservation you can get a table in their back area. We were up front with the band. It's a pretty small place, maybe about 5 or 6 high top tables in the front, the bar toward the back, and that back room which we didn't look in. We cozied up until someone left a high top and then hung out there. We ordered some drinks that were specials for the night and some that were regularly on the menu. We had a great time! Drinks were good, I think also reasonably priced. Music went from 7pm to 10pm and we got there around 7:30 and it was good and busy! That said, I was a little disappointed to find out that even with a reserved table, there's a $30 minimum if you want to stay for the jazz, and a $25 minimum for the comedy. I understand businesses have minimums, but personally, I prefer places where I can come in, relax, listen to the music, and decide what I want to spend without feeling pressured--especially when I'm experiencing a band or comedian for the first time and don't know what to expect. The waitress was okay, although there were a few assumptions made during my visit that I didn't feel were appropriate. I'm glad I checked it out and experienced it for myself. It just probably isn't somewhere I'll return to.
