I can't rate the…read morefood because I turned around and got back in the car after looking through the window only to see that you are now a store front take-out joint. I must say, that is a terrible move, Seven Moons. It was peak lunchtime on a weekday and not a customer was in sight. Sad, sad, sad. I hate to see businesses fail but Seven Moons Asian Restaurant has all but ensured failure with this poor business decision. Listen up, SM: People chose eating at YOUR restaurant in your old location because, mainly, you had wonderful food and drink and because you had two bars, a private party room and spacious dining rooms with sit down service and a sushi bar. We can get Asian take-out on practically any street corner in any town! Remember the famous real estate slogan: Location, location, location! A store front take-out? Is that what you really want to be now? In a TJ Max plaza? Sorry you lost your lease but surely you could have moved to a better space than this. My family is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our famous eateries. We used to drive all the way from Oakland Beach to eat there. You won't be seeing us again. We're not driving 45 minutes to eat our meal out of take out containers while sitting in our car in the parking lot. I also resent that your online posting for Seven Moons is a little disingenuous in that you do not make clear that it's now a take-out joint. What did you think?--that you could trick people into coming to the new location for a meal and they would say, "Oh, no dining room? That's OK, I guess take-out is FINE.I sincerely wish you the best of luck but don't think it will help you. Best thing you can do to save your business is find a restaurant to lease, not a store front.

First off, the first item to arrive was completely cold soup (might I add the worst miso soup I've had in about 3 years). The waitress forgot our salads and brought mains before our appetizers even arrived. The fish from the sushi bar was not fresh nor were the vegetables hot for the hibachi meal. This place a few years ago used to be a favorite, now I would never step foot in the establishment again.

Very silky, some crunch, and the dashi sauce was well balanced. We then ordered tonkotsu ramen as our entree, and let me tell you I was not disappointed. After trying numerous ramens, specifically tonkotsu, this rated 2nd under my first favorite place. The creamy, rich broth was balanced, the noodles were bouncy (maybe homemade?), and the toppings were all good! Personally I am not a fan of thick pieces of pork chashu, so just keep that in mind when ordering that meat topping. Otherwise, excellent! Service: it was pretty slow so we got in immediately. Our waiter was very nice and took care of our table promptly. Atmosphere: it's definitely darker in this place, but the atmosphere was cozy and the booths were nice! Overall for me this was a 4.7/5, I would definitely recommend going here and experiencing decent tonkotsu ramen!

Always try to stop by if I'm in Bristol or passing through. Worth a stop if you like ramen noodles, though my favorite is the tonkotsu or the miso pork ramen. Haven't tried any of the other dishes or appetizers but hopefully the next time. Service is good and nice calming atmosphere.

As per usual we shared the dishes: garlic string beans, scallion pancakes (both delicious), steamed shumai (I think I preferred the fried version), and tiki udon with chicken. We also had the traditional hot sake. The service was very good as per usual. All this made for a convivial evening. Of course we will be back.

From the moment we stepped in the door we could tell we were in for a great meal . The service was great and I noticed how they greeted their regulars and knew their go to orders . A great sign that both the food and staff are great. They have a dining room , patio seating and a sushi bar . We decided to sit at the sushi bar . I ordered a lychee martini that was delicious. We ordered Kimchi fried rice ( we ended up taking it home for left overs. ) The Sweet potato maki was warm and crispy . The fried gyoza was also a great appetizer crispy and full of flavor . I also really enjoy miso soup with my sushi and they had an excellent miso soup . Our sushi came relatively quick, especially since they just needed to hand it over from their sushi station . It was very fresh and had a great ratio of fish to rice. I have never eaten so much sushi in one sitting I was beyond full and satisfied. Can't wait to come back to this location and try the different sushi specials.

And everything was to my liking. Thick udon noodles with a slight chew and tender chicken. Healthy amount of vegetables mixed in, tied together with a light and simple broth. Overall, nothing ground breaking here. Solid value at $14 so if you have some friends who want sushi but you don't or you're tight on cash, good option. Good feeling overall in this place, little of a lounge vibe, service was friendly, no complaints out of me. It'll stay in the back pocket for a backup.

We had actually planned on going to a different restaurant, but it was closed without anything saying their hours had changed or they were on vacation. Nami was not too far from the other place and so we went there. I love the atmosphere and hip/classy feel to the dining room. The server was very friendly, but so soft spoken it was hard to hear him. I just really wanted some miso soup and some sushi, but many things looked great on their menu. One little bizarre thing was that it listed a Clam miso soup on the menu, but when I asked about he said they did have a vegetarian miso soup but it wasn't on the menu. He did tell me they were redoing the menu. The miso soup was really good. We ordered a variety of sushi, which was also very tasty. I found it a bit odd the way they did their rainbow roll, which rolled all the fish inside the roll instead of fish layered on top. Also, the crunchy veggies inside the rainbow roll didn't really go with the rest of the fish very well. The Christmas Tree roll was my favorite and was delicious! I have to mention an odd circumstance about parking in their lot. When I came out of the restaurant there was a car blocking us. Apparently, since it's a small lot they tell people you can block cars but you have to be willing to move it once a table is done and wants to go. That's fine, but it was so damn cold outside that I really didn't want to have to go back in an bother people about this. I did anyway, but I just thought the whole thing was weird.
