Jess Howard's team was able to do the upgrade with minimal damage to the walls. Small holes were strategically placed so that the Romex could be fished through. The techs, Narmo and Chris, were very knowledgeable, efficient and thorough and were always pleasant and courteous. They willingly answered any questions I had related to the project and were a joy to work with. They also took great care in containing the dust and promptly cleaned as they worked. Jess Howard is extremely busy but scheduling with Clint was a breeze. I will definitely call on them in the future and I highly recommend them.

This particular weekend's high was 35 degrees and google turned up 18 search results for stores that sell these kinds of parts. Hubbs did not care, they callously refused to do any work on Friday regardless of the fact we had 3 children under 12 and 2 small animals living in a home that couldn't get above 50 degrees all weekend with the use of space heaters. They did arrive on Monday and have allegedly fixed the heat with a part smaller than my fist in under an hour. All in all Hubbs has proven to be a lazy, unmotivated and uncaring company not worth anyone's time or money. Avoid at all cost

The big name company with fancy commercials on TV And took monthly service amounts to "make it easier" for me. 2 years ago they said that I needed to replace my ENTIRE air conditioning unit that they had been servicing for almost 10 years. The unit was only 11 years old at that point. They tried to sell me a new one for $9k !!!! I decided to get a second opinion and had 3 different companies come to check the unit. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG. They said someone had loosen up a valve and all the antifreeze was gone. Needless to say I was almost the victim of fraudulent business practices. I dropped my contract and have been with KNOW ever since - you WILL NOT find a better HVAC company with amazing customer service and integrity. Ask for Scott! We scheduled an appt with a different company in Pickerington, OH for 7/3 only they scheduled us incorrectly in the computer for the following Friday. Naturally, with our home pushing 90degrees, I was pretty intense on the phone when I called to inquire about our sevicemans tardiness; so I cancelled and started hunting for a new company to come fix our ac. I came across LFR Maintenance and on a stroke of luck, was scheduled for the same day (7/3)!! They had a technician out to our home within 20minutes and it took him 15mins to fix our problem (a common capacitor burnout). I was so excited that they were able to repair our ac unit and within such short notice! That's absolutely incredible; our tech, Ross, was professional and efficient--he finished within minutes before a downpour! Thank you for your awesome service!

UPDATE: Based on Mackenzie's response to my initial review, I chose to give Custom a second…read morechance. Chris came out, very personable and knowledgeable, and provided me with a couple quotes. I wanted a Mitsubishi system--and what do you know, he revealed to me that my other Mitsubishi quote from another dealer was full of bunk. Go figure. So, I took him up on his offer. I asked for quotes on both the low and high end system; I chose the low end system. Here's where it gets interesting: they brought the high end system instead, due to some paperwork mixup. They spent about an hour figuring things out for themselves, and in the end came to me with the offer: "we'll just let you keep this and get it installed today for the low end system price, it's just easier". I took them up on it. The installers were great, thorough, and efficient. Here it is 5 months later and 22 degrees outside, and all is well. Thanks for reaching out, Mackenzie. It worked out well.
