Franklin's did not live up to the hype at all. If anything I would say it was really bad. I got 2 coffee one cherry blossom and one frozen one. They both were BAD. The cherry blossom one tasted like they pumped 10+ pumps of sweetness it was actually undrinkable. The frozen coffee was just as bad, the texture was horrible. And I've had lots of frozen, blended coffee before. Starbucks does a better one. These coffee were so bad we dumped them and walked over to Asher + Rye to get coffee. I was sad they were so bad since this was the #1 coffee place was place In Savannah I was looking forward to

Did not disappoint!!! I've been wanting to visit this place. Jerron was our server, at the register. His recommendation was on point. We got our order to go. Everything was great and excellent service. Plan on coming back soon

Intrigued by the exterior, I stopped at Franklin's for breakfast. The interior is quite pleasant with limited seating. I thought the coffee was just ok; I ordered a flat white. However my croissant sandwich was really good! Not sure if I would return if I were in the area, if not just for the food.

We went to Franklin's on our last day of our Savannah food crawl to start the morning. The place is very pretty - the shop front gives New York city vibes. Inside was aesthetic too. I loved the vibe here. We ordered the Lox n Bagel, the B.L.T., iced vanilla latte, and horchata latte. We wanted the matcha but they were out (it was 8am). The lox n bagel was alright. The cream cheese was the best part about it - garlicky flavor and aroma. I don't like capers so I took those off. The salmon was ok, tasted fishy. Maybe the quality of the fish wasn't the best. The bagel was a regular plain bagel. Nothing really special about this. Felt like it needed shrimp sauce with the salmon because of its fishy taste. 6/10 The B.L.T. was good according to my girlfriend. I don't like veggies, but she took it off for me and I'd say that the sandwich was really good. I enjoyed the smokey flavor of the bacon and how thick it was. 7/10 The coffees were nothing special. Their horchata latte wasn't anything different from regular coffee. Tasted like coffee you can brew in a standard coffee machine and finished with CoffeeMate creamer. 6/10 The service was fast and the staff were nice. Nothing too much here 10/10.

This was the best coffee I had while visiting Savannah! I got a frozen coffee to cool off from the heat and decided to add banana syrup. No regrets! Casual and quaint. I considered getting a tote but it was a bit pricey.

Got a matcha latte with cold foam. It is very sweet, so I love it! Not a bitter matcha at all. But I wouldn't get it if you don't like the sweet Matcha. I added a shot of raspberry in it. The service was great and the ambulance is super cute inside. Would definitely check it out if you're in Savannah. Bathrooms are cool in the back and have a hidden door.

I really enjoyed banana pudding latte! I also got the avocado toast which was ok. The customer service was great and the space was beautiful.

So impressed with this coffee shop and there are a few around the area. They have some seating both indoor and outdoor but luckily snagged two seats after ordering. I got the cappuccino and an almond croissant. My husband ordered an americano and breakfast sandwich. They were super busy so it took a minute for our order to be ready - especially food. The almond croissant was nice and flaky and I asked for it warm. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his sandwich though was quite messy. Their service was great! One of the employees (don't know his name but he was a tall African American male) was so kind and constantly checked in on us. I highly highly recommend this place!

Iced latte at the window seats.

Charming little coffee place with friendly service and delicious iced lattes. On a hot day, nothing better than to pop in here for a cold drink. Cute seats outdoors too, and the main window looks out over the street and a pretty church spire.

What a great find for some of the best espresso I've had in the south! Frozen latte with simple ingredients; milk, espresso, ice and sweetener or flavoring. Delish! And the fresh pastries are like right out of a Parisian oven!

They are famous, seen in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. They have memorabilia and historical décor on the walls. But out midday weekday experience was not thrilling. We went for the all-breast-meat Chicken club sandwich. Fresh lettuce. Thick ripe tomato slices. Plenty of crispy tasty bacon. But the chicken was flavorless and on the dry side, with some tough bites that meant careless trimming. How about corned-beef hash eggs-Benedict with grits and a biscuit? The hash was dry. The grits were ok but ordinary. The biscuit was doughy and flavorless. If we were too late for freshly-made hash, they shouldn't have served them. We obviously weren't thrilled Well, they clearly do care enough to reply! I guess we all have off days. Yeah, i'll try them again.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

I ordered the footlong hot dog, and it was one of the most unique hot dogs I've ever had. Instead of serving it on one bun, they split it across two buns with different toppings on each half. One side was topped with sloppy joe, while the other had chili and relish. It was a fun idea that let you enjoy two different flavor combinations in one meal. It also came with a generous portion of crispy waffle fries, which were excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and the prices were very reasonable, fitting the casual diner vibe. My only real criticism was the speed of service. There were only three occupied tables when we visited, yet it took about 35 minutes for the first plate to arrive. The last person at our table didn't receive their meal until nearly 45 minutes after we ordered, which seemed unusually slow for how quiet the restaurant was. The other thing worth mentioning is that the menu varies quite a bit between locations. This restaurant's menu is heavily focused on breakfast. While the food itself was good, it would be nice if the menus were more consistent across locations. Having to research which location serves which items takes away from the convenience of a unified brand. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return for a quick lunch. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the creative footlong hot dog alone is worth trying.

Every ingredient complemented the next, creating the perfect balance of savory, smoky, cheesy, and just a subtle kick from the jalapeño. We also got the tobacco syrup on the side, which added a unique sweet-and-savory contrast that tied everything together beautifully. I also loved their ordering concept. On this visit, we sat outside, and while the outdoor seating does expose you to nature and some insects, the restaurant does fan the area well, even offering table top fans to keep the flies away. The entree I ordered was overall decent, a crab cake Benedict with a side salad - I'm confident if I lived in the area I would find a standard go-to order that would be even better. It was accompanied by a Savannah banana iced coffee which truly hit the spot on a warm day. While the restaurant does have its own parking lot, it does appear to fill up quickly - there's plenty of paid parking available around the park, and for our purposes it gave us a good reason to walk around the park before our meal, and again to walk off our lunch afterwards. Pricing is reasonable at about $25 per person, obviously it can get much pricier depending on whether you're just stopping in or you're making a longer experience of your visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant, more so for the experience than the food alone.. but the food is pretty good too.
