I normally don't bother calling to let the people know that they've made a mistake but I thought I'd give you guys a chance because I live next-door and I have a lot of parties and I thought Id give them a chance to correct their mistake. They offered me 10% off on my next order, this isn't even worth my time. My wife and I own our business's and realize the importance of customer satisfaction. I'm guessing the owner answered the phone and when I told her about my pizza being wrong she seemed unconcerned . Very poor customer service. Great place for a quick meal with a beer. If you ordered to go make sure they have your order correct before leaving. They also have pizza by the slice. Try the pastrami sandwich it has great flavor but, it is not always on the menu so you need to ask for it. read more

We came in at a bit before 3:00...not a prime meal time, but two tables at this small place had customers quietly, and apparently happily, enjoying their food. The twins running the front of the house were immediately attentive and friendly as they took our "to go" order. The place was sparkling clean and appealing, the menu was diverse enough for everyone in my party to have their favorite. I love a well-made margharita pizza, and later wished I'd ordered the mid size rather than the medium, but I was the only one eating pizza and truly it was plenty and I had leftovers, but I wanted more leftovers. Others had lasagna, chicken Alfredo, calamari, cheesesteak, rosemary fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and boneless wings. We suddenly realized why it had been so quiet in the "pizza joint" when we noticed the silence at the table at home...we were all savoring our favorite foods--deliciously prepared. The meat was moist, flavorful, and tender, the onions on the cheesesteak beautifully caramalized, the lasagna had that perfect goo to stringy cheese ratio, the calamari was tender, there just was not a misstep anywhere. I wish I could give a 0 star rating!! We ordered 4 pizzas through Grubhub and all were burned on bottom. We all had a burnt taste in our mouth and one of the kids vomited. We complained to Grubhub and they were kind enough to refund the order. Within minutes a rude lady called accusing me of scamming them and was being very defensive about quality. Today I ordered a large Supreme Pizza for my wife and myself. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes and it was ready when we arrived. We live close to Franks so we were home 5 minutes after picking the pizza up and ate 5 minutes later. The crust was tough like it had been microwaved to reheat and there was no sausage, only a few very, very thin slices of pepperoni as well as a few very thin slices of mushroom. There was few small pieces of red onions, black olives and bell pepper. Also, the pizza was not cut sufficient enough for us to eat without having to re-cut the entire pie. I've been eating Frank's Pizza since it first opened and must say today's experience was almost enough of a turn-off to stop going there. Also, there was only one person present when we picked our order up. Seemed like a one man show. read more

This is our neighborhood pizza joint. Today the service and food was Lil Cesar's level with California Pizza Kitchen prices. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and added sausage to half of it and we also ordered 2 basket of fries. Alexis was the person who took our order. We dined in. They gave us a number and we sat down. After 20 minutes Alexis came up to us with our pizza in a box and asked if it was for dine in. We said yes. She came back with a pepperoni and mushroom added to half of it. When we said this was not our order she seemed upset but took it back. She then came back 5 minutes later with the correct pizza. It was extremely evident that what they did was take there pre made slices and added pepperoni and sausage to them. They kept the original half of the first pizza they gave us. The pizza was bland. The kids didn't even like the pizza. The fries were not fresh or hot and they came after our first pizza. So we assumed the fries were sitting there for 10 minutes under a heat lamp. All in all we had an extremely bad experience. We have been here several times with no problems and the food was good. We assume the difference today was that the owner was not there. With the prices Frank's charges they should of made us a new pizza since it was Alexis who made the error. She even repeated our order to us so it was pretty disappointing. I'm not saying I will never come back but at $31 i might consider driving to Bronx pizza. We gave 2 stars because this was the first time we had a bad experience. read more

Just one bite, and we fell in love with Frank's pizza. So worth the wait of about 25 minutes. You can taste the fresh ingredients, the "sweet" water used to make the dough, great sausage, great cheese, great sauce, and the BEST CRUST EVER...everything...truly amazing. Not greasy at all. Experience: I ordered my food to go. Right when I walked in I was greeted by a cashier. When I walked up the cashier was a young girl. Very nice and she seemed a little nervous. There was a lady, who seemed to be in charge of the operation by how bossy she was acting, and a young fellow behind the counter discussing a Heartland meat order. It was my first time so I asked the cashiers what she recommended, I honestly have no idea what she said because she said it with a quickness and in a very quiet voice. There was nothing special about the service, I honestly felt like just another number. I finally settled with a chicken salad wrap and rosemary fries. The cashier sent the order, I actually watched a ticket print, as the printer is visible to customers (actually there is a large window overseeing the main cook.) Then I saw the bossy lady say something to my cashier, she snatched the ticket from the printer and then rudely asked me if it was my ticket. In my head I thought, "how am I supposed to know?! I didn't print it, and I cant read what's on the ticket!" I told her I had no idea because I didn't know what was on the ticket, she read it to me and, indeed, it was my ticket. I'm not sure what the point of that was at all, I think she should have asked the server, OR used common sense, becuase I was the only on who had ordered the whole time that I was at the counter. Anyway, I waited a good 20-30 minutes for my food. When I closed my car door, it instantly smelled like garlic goodness. I couldn't wait to eat, so I opened everything up and ate while driving to work. The wrap was ehh, okay, the meat was good, the cheese a little rubbery, the veggies crisp, and the tortilla cold. I would have liked the tortilla warmed a bit, since the meat was hot. My fries were quite tasty! They looked to be home cut fresh. Had an amazing amount of minced garlic and rosemary and were not very oily. I say this because in my experience garlic fries tend to be oily. I thought that for the price, I deserved more fries however, I have no complaints In respect to the flavor! I actually recommend this place to my mom, who LOVES garlic fries. She went the next day and bought an order of garlic fries to share with me. They weren't as good the second time around. They didn't have enough garlic on them, which was disappointment. Yesterday was my first time in. My son referred me here and we ordered the 16" pepperoni and a basket of mild Buffalo wings. My first impression was that it was very clean i liked the decor and the music that was playing. Nice little place to dine in, they wven have a small bar area which is cool And 3 tvs. When we ordered we did have to wait for someone to take our order even though there were two girls at the counter but they did seem young maybe they dont do the registers. We took our food home and needless to say everyone enjoyed the pizza, like some people have mentioned yes it was oily but not outrageous to where you couldnt eat it. It was good. I like the cheese and sauce and the thin crust. The wings were really good. Pretty pleased with this place nice first impression. We will be back. read more

Frank's gives you this genuine feeling of being in an East Coast restaurant. Pizza reminds me of the ones right off the streets of New York, its not too thick, and the pizza is just thin enough to get the right combination of bread and goodness. It's recommended that you try the rosemary fries and philly cheese steak sandwich, that's my usual order. Rosemary fries is covered seasoning of minced garlic and rosemary, and is nice crisp to the taste. The little restaurant has a bar, several booths, and tables to the side of the wall. Walls are covered with symbolizing pictures of New York and that old time feeling all generations love. It's great for all ages. read more

We've been wanting to check this place out and ordered 2 medium pizzas to go, which was about $30. The Veggitano and the Man Made both listed several toppings. When we got our pizza, it was like they dumped everything all on the centers. Every slice was at least a third of only cheese! Sometimes half! They didn't distribute well at all. We shrugged our shoulders at that and gave it a go. The dough on the Man Made didn't seem thoroughly cooked, which is surprising with how thin the crust is. Overall both pizzas were bland and disappointing for the cost. Not sure that we will try them again. Maybe it's better for dine in. read more

It was actually much better the next day warmed up in a toaster oven than when we picked it up. The buffalo chicken fries were not what we expected. From the description I thought this would be fries tossed in buffalo sauce with pieces of chicken. However, it was just buffalo chicken with fries on the side. The fries were soggy at best. The whole family loves this place. The pizza is by far the best around east county. It is a tad bit small, but the benefits are that the owners, whom also work there every time we've gone in, are very attentive. The waitresses check up on us all the time. $5 mugs of beer during happy hour is a deal you can't pass up. My wife's favorite drink is the Cucumber Water. Super refreshing in the summer. Honestly, the buffalo wings are some of the best I've had in the west coast. Of course there's no comparing to the east coast, but I'm sure it has something to do with the water. Why is that when you order something to go you must check order placed?!? I would enjoy experience if didn't have to come home to finding order incomplete. We just moved to Mt.Helix and tonight it was just too hot to cook at home. We ordered the Werks pizza and we loved it. A large fed 2 adults and 2 small children. Oddly, toppings were not spread out, they were only in the middle of the pizza so like the beginning half of your slice had toppings but the other half did not. This was not an issue for us considering our kids are picky anyway but I could see how it may be a problem for others. Good overall pizza and I would come back. read more

Great new place! Frank's went out of his way to provide an excellent dinner for 9 of us. Even though Frank's hasn't started delivery service, dinner was delivered to the hospital so a patient could participate in a family dinner. The Original pizza was delicious. We also had the Union Ravioli Squares, both the Naked and Boneless Wings and several salads. The only criticism I heard was that the "mild" sauce for the wings is more spicy than expected. I went to Frank's when it first opened. I told everyone about it, because it was the best pizza I had since moving from the East Coast. Many people I told about Frank's tried it out and loved it. Unfortunately the last several times I have been, my order was messed up and the quality just wasn't there. For example on the messed up part I ordered a pie with extra mushrooms, there was the equivalent of about one mushroom on the whole pie. The sauce originally was amazing it would have me dreaming about the place long after finishing my last slice. The sauce has lost its zing. Now the place is just average.
