We've been to Frank's Pizza twice and can't wait till we can go again. The portions are huge! My favorite entree so far is the Chicken Monte Bianco.....yummy special cream sauce, it's truly amazing!!! Frank's is a BYOB, that's a plus.... you get a salad with your entree and if you don't want pasta as your side, they will substitute a vegetable. The fresh broccoli with garlic and oil is out of this world......the meals are made fresh so be patient, it's worth the wait! As of yet we haven't tried the pizza......one of these days we will. This is my go to spot for pizza. It's never burnt and it has the right amount of cheese and sauce. I've also come here for dinner with a few friends and the restaurant menu is awesome. It's also BYOB which is nice especially because they have a back area to dine with more privacy. Only sad part is that they don't deliver! But I don't care because it's worth the drive. Do NOT order from here. This is the 8th time my family and I have placed an order for dinners to go and EVERY TIME they screw up by leaving out one of the dinners. Tonight we checked before leaving the restaurant and guess what...short one dinner...when told they didn't apologize at all instead their answer was it was a large order...5 dinners...is that a large order? No....I am a reasonable woman and one mistake here or there is to be expected...but this is without excuse....Order here at your own risk. This isn't the way local Italian restaurants do business. Portion size was good. Sadly, three of the four of us got immediately sick. Clearly it was the chicken in our meals. When I tried the pasta that the kids had, it was very undercooked. I came into this establishment and the usual tomato bread was sitting underneath the oven. One of the workers dropped it on the floor, and the boss proceeded to come and pick it up and serve it to customers with salt on it. I was disgusted. The food is usually good, although most of the people that work there are rude. I dont understand how these people are allowed to be here. I live in a town next to Lincoln Park and I am a frequent customer to this pizza spot. I think portions are good and pizza selections are okay. Their garlic knots are really good, however. The best thing is the portion size and you get a good sized side soup/salad with your meal. As for my meal, I ordered the shrimp scampi over spaghetti and all I could taste was lemon. Some lemon in scampi is fine, but I couldn't taste anything else. The constancy was very soupy as well, more than it should have been. I went with my family and tired some of my Grandpa's spaghetti and sauce. It was generic and nothing special. My grandparents liked their meals but I wasn't close to impressed. This place is not like franks in saddlebrook, seems to be getting worse and worse ordered a half sausage and half mushroom , the sausage itself is outstanding and great quality the pizza uggh , was not fully cook tasteless the shroom half was thrown in the trash, and mostly what the heck is with the corn meal on the crust this is new jersey we dont do that !!!!!! Overpriced, pretty average pizza, I usually pick up and the staff literally could not be less engaging. The Margarita pie does not even have basil or fresh Mozzarella which tells you all you need to know about how they feel about preparing good food. I ordered a large pizza with onions and garlic only. I said it twice and the word "only" twice. The guy who took the order repeated my order back to me. He said 15 minutes. I drove over 20 minutes later and it wasn't ready. They had 2 tables. The guy that took my order asked if I needed help, i recognized his accent. I said yes, I'm picking up a pie with onions and garlic. The other guy said, " and green peppers." I said no, onions and garlic only. And again he said and green peppers. I said again, no onions and garlic. The guy that took my order, said no. With green peppers. The other guy said, you take, same price. I reluctantly took it after waiting another 10 minutes. No complaints about the food here, but the service is what bothered me. They have items on the menu that are listed for one price, but when you get your bill, it says a different price. When I asked my waitress about this, she said there are multiple "mistakes" of prices on the menu, but she never informed me of this while I was ordering. I got charged a significant amount more than what the menu read and when I spoke to the manager, he refused to admit that they were wrong and still made me pay the higher amount.
