Food is good. I'm never disappointed. The atmosphere is Pizza place with a lot of seating. The only problem I have is the service. They are very friendly, but the service is lacking. This place has to be under New ownership. The orders are always wrong and the young man at the counter always tells you you're wrong and he's not nice about it. They charge you the wrong prices, higher prices, and when you correct them and they fix it, they act like they're doing you a favor, that same rude young man at the counter. Recently they had to fix mine and it was still wrong. I asked if Mr. Gencarelli was there, the owner, and they said no and that he only comes in the afternoon. I don't believe that he owns it anymore and if he does, he is not managing the restaurant any more or not well. With all the good places to eat, I will not be spending any more money here. Staff is friendly, attentive, overall food very good and vodka sauce is great. Recently had a Focaccia Panino and wow, first off the focaccia was great, those roasted red peppers were some of the best I've ever had, and the chicken was perfect, amazing creation all in all. Next time I might switch the eggplant for sausage or just double up on the chicken (might just be a personal preference) but I will deff be getting this again! I have ordered from here many times.. just convenience I guess because they just are never that good. NOW I'm done. I ordered catering for Easter and the order was wrong but not only that, the food was gross. I was so embarrassed I catered from here. I should have stopped ordering here when their delivery guy decided to unscrew my lightbulb outside my front door at night and then when answering the door he was antagonizing my dogs... which I reported to the manager and said he would have it handled. Their service is always horrendous. No one ever knows what comes in an entree or sandwich and the orders are always wrong. The last time I got so sick almost immediately after eating their food. This time I got sick Yet again. I just don't understand how they are still open for business. I tried supporting this place because they are local but now no way. Ok I have to tried and tried with Frank's. They are a local place but I can't, not when there better options for Italian in the general area. There are other Frank's in NJ, they are much better. IMO the pizza is not good. It tastes too doughy to me, like it wasn't cooked long enough. It's often greasy and the crust is not crispy. I've had a few sandwiches/meals there and they are ok. You are better off going with food if you order from there. I've order through the phone several times and several times my order has been wrong. Like they have forgotten meals and even ingredients. And then when you bring it back or let them know, they get aggravated. If I order something and pay for it then I should get it. I always check it before I leave there and they always give me a look, but I rather do that so I don't have to drive all the way back. read more

Unfortunately will not be going back due to downright absurd, racist behavior and service from this establishment. And creating an uncomfortable environment. The food is decent, but don't be fooled. They may have some Hispanic workers in the back and are kind to people who happen to be the same skin color as their own, but no matter what for me, my friends and my family, it never fails. It is always a problem with one or more of the Male or Female italian workers working the cashier. I do not know what it is. We are all as polite as can be, we greet everyone with a smile, we say our, "Please and thank yous," I look good, I smell good, what's the problem? do you not want my money? But after the last specific incident where 2 male workers were loudly shit talking me FOR NO APPARENT REASON as soon as I walked in as if i couldn't readily hear what they were saying? What is the problem? My money works the exact same, is this not 2024 and not 1960? Ridiculous service and unfair treatment to anyone who isn't white. Would love to speak to the owner about the multiple disrespectful encounters I, and my friends/family have received if i could but i couldn't! The pompton lakes location is my all time local favorite pizza place so I figured this would be equally as good. Their prices are high compared to others in the area ($9 for a small meatball parmigiana sandwich), and the white pie is not the same as their other location but still good. What killed me was their sauce on the regular pie...way too sweet. I would go here for the "specialty slices", but otherwise not my favorite in this neighborhood. read more

Good Italian dishes and really good pizza (great crust). Eggplant Rollatini pizza is exceptional. Franks is a strip mall pizzeria with a rear seating area with waitress service. Waitress service can be inattentive at times. No tips permitted on credit cards. Food quality is good, great pizza for take out, dishes are tasty. Give it a try (but BYOB so you can drink while you wait for your waitress to make it over to your table). read more

Noticed Frank's has no specials or offers on weekdays. Hiked prices during pandemic with no attempt to 'work together' with town-folk. Prices are more expensive than surrounding restaurants. I recently discovered the Seafood Combination Salad ($14.95). Woah! This is a thing of beauty...you'll wait 15 minutes for it, but that's because they're cooking the Calamari and Shrimp, to order...which means fresh, warm, tender, sweet, delicious. I absolutely love this salad. I asked for extra lemon wedges, and they gladly gave me plenty. I love the citrus kick it gives to the salad. Folks at Franks, you got a real winner here! Now, the Personal Spinach Pie (with white sauce)...absolutely wonderful. I've always voted for Frank's White Spinach, as my favorite in NJ. I like to kick it up, just a little bit, with freshly-grated parm, and a shake or 2 of garlic powder. For $9.95, this personal pie is worth driving to Lincoln Park...any day of the week. read more

Decent, above average Italian-American food. Sometimes they screw up orders on the phone and aren't real accommodating when you get home and call them with the mistake. Also, they have a 20% discount that applies if you order online. I can never get it to work and when I call to tell them that they won't give me the 20% discount. Pretty cheap . I have been coming to Frank's many many times over the past few years. Basically, it's going downhill. The food in the restaurant is generally ok for a strip mall byob place. Take out, however, is always an experience. Last wait, supposedly 10-15 minutes was almost an hour ... and ... there were items missing from the order (salad and a soup). The last several take-out orders took a lot of unnecessary time. It even appeared that walk-in orders were served first. I'm not putting up with the poor service any more. Done with Frank's Lincoln Park- We used to order out at least once a week for at least 4 years. In the last year it's been closer to once a month due to their screw ups and rudeness but tonight was the last straw. I use online ordering so it's pretty clear cut what we order. However, it's often wrong and apparently always our fault. They are rude and unappreciative of their loyal customers. Tonight the pizza was wrong, they sent someone else's order home in addition and then we had to BRING THE WRONG PIZZA BACK AND WAIT 30 MIN FOR A NEW ONE. Which we were told was our mistake even though I showed them the online print out of the order. I could tolerate mistakes...but rudeness is absurd. They don't deserve our $60+ order a week. I am a huge fan of pizza (my favorite food), and so I take it pretty seriously. My husband and I come here often for pizza (we get half buffalo chicken, half sausage usually), and I have to say that I enjoy it. The crust is crispy and just bready enough, the chunks of chicken on the buffalo chicken pizza (as well as the chicken parm) are huge, the cheese is everything you would expect cheese to be, and it definitely hits the spot when you're craving pizza. In addition, we've tried numerous other dishes though none as frequent as the pizza, so I can attest to the calamari and the linguini with clam sauce as well. The calamari is pretty standard and generously portioned, and the linguini was saucy and delicious. We also receive baskets of bread when dining for dinner and demolished those as well. Basically, this is one of our few go-to places for pizza up here in North Jersey, so I'd recommend giving it a try if you're in the area and do agree with the comments about service. The last time we went, the waitress was great, but they tend not to come by often so a wait in between requests is normal. read more

I tried a slice of the bruchetta pizza and a slice of the white spinach and borne slices were the best tasting I've had in a long time. The slice were large and very tasty. The bruchetta slice was loaded with tomatoes with no bare spots.. Two large slices and a large fountain drink came to right dollars and change.
