Local sandwich shop in a little plaza. Super friendly and helpful staff. Franky, the owner, was there personally taking orders and explaining the menu. Super nice and informative. I had the tuna , which I don't typically get while dining out, but it was recommended, so I gave it a try. It did not disappoint. Gray had the number one (Ham, Capicola, Salami and Provolone Sandwich) and was very pleased. I had a taste and can confirm it was delicious. Seating is currently outdoors only, and the beverage machine is not available, but they will be returning to indoor seating and bringing back the soda machine after 7/4/21. There is an abundance of good ready-to-go drink options as well as a varied chip selection. We enjoyed a large can of Bubbly and a bag of garlic plantains. I really appreciate the owner's care & responsibility in ensuring the safety of staff and customers. Our food was quickly brought to our table, and Franky checked in with us to be sure everything was to our liking. The surrounding shops may look a bit, um, sketch?, but don't let that be a deterrent. The food and service are top notch, the shop is bright & clean, the food is fresh & delicious, and you can tell the owner genuinely cares about his customers' happiness. Enticed by the 5-stars, I gave Franky's a chance while driving by the area. Staff was extremely warm and helpful to me, a new customer. Sub they suggested was the best Italian I've ever had (and I've had more than a few). It was so good, I picked up a different one to bring home to the wife. Three days later, We decided to take the 30 min drive back to Frankiy's just to satisfy this new craving. Went here for all the hype, plus my husband is Cuban and is an expert taster for the Cuban sandwiches... The customer service was friendly enough, but when my husband asked them for a beer she said no beer, cos if we did offer that people would never leave! Oh well I guess their service is only wanting quick in and out service and they don't want you to clog the eating area up. The place was buzzing in a Thursday at 1.45, obviously a popular spot and I got the impressions there are a lot of regulars.. So back to the sandwich, it was good BUT not worthy of five stars at all! My husband said the same, as it was sliced pork pieces not roasted chunks of pork..Still it was a good size, tasted ok and cheap for the price..my bill was 12 dollars plus for two Cuban sandwiches. Franky's was the friendliest restaurant we ate at in the area out of about 10 total places. The food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I was skeptical about ordering the Philly Cheese Steak, but it was the best cheese steak that I have ever had. Crunchy on outside (without flaking all over place) and soft at same time. Different from regular bulky bread you get normally. The included veggies are fresh and crunchy. I don't get it...I had the Cuban with cheese croquets today and I wasn't impressed at all. My Cuban sandwich here was very mediocre. It's a toasted bun with warm regular deli meats that has a sauce with mustard, but honestly it was very uneventful. Perhaps if it had more hearty meat on it off the bone I would appreciate it more. The Media Noche pork sandwich I had at Melao in Orlando this past weekend with the chunks of real ham and pork on sweet bread blew this sandwich away. The place is very dated inside but has lots of seating, with a restroom at the back. The owner was very friendly and explained some of the sandwiches to me. Maybe the other sandwiches are better?...but I certainly won't be ordering the Cuban again. read more

Phenomenal customer service. We were greeted with a warm smile and welcoming energy by Franky right as we walked in the door. We were first timers visiting from out of the area and Franky was ready with awesome recommendations based off of their best sellers and our pallets.
