I've been meaning to visit Franky's for a few months, and wow have I been missing out, especially considering how close it is to my house. First and foremost, the service: I walked in with my mom, with curious faces, and Franky warmly greeted us and offered to explain to us how everything works and some recommendations. The entire time we were there, he was extremely kind and friendly. The food: ingredients here are chosen with care. We had the Philly cheese steak(made with ribeye), and it was delicious. The meat, the bread, temperature, everything was carefully put together. They make the best sandwiches in Hialeah. All in all, if you're looking for a quick, delicious bite and get that friendly atmosphere, this is the spot in Hialeah. read more

Hey everyone. It's time to update as my 1st review was in 2017. I've been going to Franky's for 5 years. Suffice to say this local Hialeah spot is as good as the 1st time. Today, I took my daughter whom requested a visit so we could introduce her best buddy and it did not disappoint. The staff know our usuals and assisted our guest on her choice. WOW! This was my 1st time going to Franky's. OMG! I have to say the food is hella phenomenal. I ordered a steak sandwich and corn beef sandwich. I came on a Saturday so it wasn't crowded at all. I was told its very busy during the weekdays so parking was great. The staff was friendly and professional. So I trekked from Kendall all the way to Hialeah to try this infamous sandwich shop so highly rated and I was happily NOT disappointed! The place is located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. Luckily when we arrived it wasn't too full. We walked in and were immediately greeted by several of the employees and looking like lost deer they asked us if we had been there before. Frankie immediately came from the back and explained the menu to us. He was very kind and friendly. I went for the philly sandwich. He told me it was made from shredded rib eye with onions and peppers. Sounded good to me! My hubby got the chicken bacon ranch. I was initially going to get that but went for the philly instead. The sandwiches were both absolutely delicious! It was an appropriate size for lunch (the six inch) but if you're looking for more food I would suggest the 12 inch. I was going to ask for extra condiments on the philly but it really didn't need anything. The meat and cheese was more than enough. Both sandwiches had excellent flavor. I also went for some croquetas that they had just made fresh. They were crispy and so good. I wanted more but I didn't want to be overly stuffed. If I worked or lived in the area I would frequent this place. I'm so sad to say it's so far from me. I will happily go there again if I'm ever in the area again for lunch. Never heard of Frankie's deli, but my girlfriend had seen it on someone's feed through Yelp. So we decided to give this sandwich shop a try. As a couple we love trying new places especially if they have sandwiches! This deli shop is family owned and has lots of history behind it. The sandwiches are priced right for the quality and experience you get from coming here. As soon as we walked in we were created by Frankie himself asking us how we were doing and how did we find out about his shop?!.. he took our order and help us decide. When a tiny Hialeah sandwich shop lands on Yelps Top 100 places to eat in the US in 2017 you run, not walk over to try! I can't believe I haven't tried Franky's before. Upon visiting, I can totally see why this sandwich shop makes the list with a boast-worthy number 2 spot! THE FOOD: There is a menu filled with delicious sandwich options and your choice of toppings. Thankfully Brett N. wanted to try as many things as possible like me so we split the 12 inch Italian and a Cuban sandwich. I'll start with the cuban. It was everything you could want in a cuban Sandwich. Hot, cheesy, and tangy from the mustard. The real star of the show for me though was the Italian Sub. It was perfect. The bread they use at Franky's isn't too dough-y so it really gives you a chance to appreciate the meats and toppings. This one came loaded with sweet and spicy peppers, EVOO and of course meats and cheese. We opted to order this hot, and I am so glad we did. I always love a traditional cold Italian sub so this was actually my first time ordering one hot. Oh boy, have I been missing out! Also, the 12 inch sub is ridiculously huge. They were so kind to split our sandwich in half and it looked like each "half" serving was one full serving! Big enough to share for sure, or just order whole and keep the leftovers for later. THE SERVICE: You can tell Franky's has a loyal lunch following because at 12:30 pm on a Tuesday this place was PACKED. They get ahead of the rush though by walking out in the line to pre-take people's orders. That way they're starting on your sandwich before you pay. Makes for speedy delivery to your table. #win I even noticed patrons giving high-fives to Franky himself on the line making sandwiches since it was really busy. Didn't get a chance to meet him, but I gotta give kudos to a hardworking owner putting the work in to get them sandwiches out! My taste buds appreciate you and your team! I walked in 12 noon, found this little gem on Yelp, was in the area and was worth the visit. When I walked in I was welcomed as if I was walking into someone's home. Small place with big menu. Lots of sandwiches to choose from and if it's not there they will make it for you. They are made on the spot. Had the Cheesesteak was delicious. My most anticipated was Franky's Deli. *Service: Good (I was greeted at the door with a huge smile and a come in, what can I get for you) *Location: In the heart of a commercial district. South side of 75 (service road) *Price: Fair and in line with other sandwich delis *Taste: Ok I ate 1/2 of a footlong. And threw the other 1/2 away. Yes I was wary, but Frankey's lives up to the hype! I actual had this deli bookmarked for some time as I am in that area for business every few weeks. Then when Franky's came out number one on Yelp's top 100 in Miami, I did not waste any more time. I have been there a couple of times and I am sure I will be back. The place is pretty small but there are a few tables where you can dine in. Order at the counter with some of the friendliest staff I have ever met. I believe most of the people are working there are family and it shows in the love they put in there food and the care they give to customers. On my visits I could tell there were regulars there but the staff was just as warm and friendly to this "newbie". On my first visit the #1 was recommended to me so I had to try it: an Italian with ham, capicola, salami, and provolone I added lettuce, tomato, sweet peppers, oil & vinegar, and some of Franky's special Mojo sauce. The sandwich was served hot....really hot. You see one of the Frankey's secrets that makes these sandwiches even more scrumptious is the double press. The meat is heated and then the sandwich is pressed. True sandwich art (and delicious!) On my next visit I went a little mellower with ham & turkey and all the fixins. This was not as delectable as the Italian, but pretty great too. On one of my next visits I would like to try the homemade soup, although I never seem to have the room. For those who are early birds, Franky's serves breakfast. There are also salads, desserts, Cuban coffee, and a nice variety of beverages. I was given a loyalty card on my first visit which I never thought I would use. After all, I am not down that way too often. However, after tasting Frankey's sandwiches, I might have to make it a requisite stop when I am in the neighborhood! read more
