Wow. Just wow. So good!!! Do not visit or pass through Arcata without stopping in at Brio…read more I had the herb and cheese omelet and it was phenomenal. The chef here understands eggs and I'm here for that. Nothing worse to me than eggs that are overcooked and my omelet was expertly prepared, removed from the heat and allowed to finish cooking with its own heat. And the herbs added were delightful. This came with a multigrain toast and that was also very good. My dining partner had a breakfast sandwich on a toasted croissant and enjoyed it very much. It came with 2 eggs, prepared to your request and a generous portion of ham. The latter, I'm told, was the best ever, from anywhere, while my plain coffee was lovely. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. There is table space inside and outside. On the morning we went, it was still a bit cool outside so we stayed indoors and felt comfortable especially since the doors were open. I must try some of their other baked goods the next time I'm in Arcata - they all looked glorious!

I was bummed, but decided to try one of the sweets. I chose the sourdough babka. It was still warm and the chocolate and cinnamon blended so well together with a hint of sourdough throughout. I was not disappointed in the flavoring, but though it was decent sized, the price point was a tad higher than other offerings from other bakeries. But, beware, the chocolate babka is not really available elsewhere, so it may be worth it to try.

She doesn't sift the flour like big commercial bakeries do so it still has the germ and bran in tact. As Beck's likes to say it's good for your gut and full of fiber! Our favorites are the rye crackers or bread, the sliced sourdough and the chocolate shortbread cookies! Well today, my "Josh Fox bread", cherry was popped! Truly, amazing! I arrived to pick up the bread…read moreI had ordered yesterday and there was a line for pick up. I was a little disappointed I had to wait, but the line moved quickly and everyone in line was friendly. He took my name, gave me my order, and told me how much I owed him. Then I just Venmo him the cash. So easy, so simple! And my car smelled amazeballs on my drive home. Now to the bread. I cut into the fig n fennel loaf and took my first bite. Wow! There are big chunks of mission figs in the bread, it's vegan, with both wheat & rye and naturally leavened. I don't even really like figs, or rye bread, but this... this is some seriously magic bread. Then I broke into the second loaf, La Khorasan, also vegan with 35% khorasan / rye and country sourdough. The crust was perfectly both crispy and chewy at the same time. Dang gurl! This bread should be a controlled substance! The khornguette was my 3rd loaf. (I may have gone a little overboard on my first order!) It is a vegan baguette with both khorasan & cornmeal. Light and fluffy on the inside and just the right amount of chew and crunch. Besides the bread being fantastic, there is something really special about the way Josh runs his business. He posts photos of his bread on social media platforms every Thursday at 9 AM. You text him your order and he has your bread ready by Friday at 4 PM. And then when you get there, there are sweets and other things to add to your order. Including coffee! Next time I'm definitely going to get some coffee. I'm thinking that fig n fennel bread toasted with a cup of his coffee, would likely be quite an amazing duo.

They make bagels with a delicious fusion of Latin American flavors. With quick prompt service and quality ingredients you truly can't go wrong. This last time I went, I had the privilege of sitting in their backyard patio which had great sun coverage with their fold up umbrellas. They even had a set of cornhole and a basketball hoop and ball! Quite the family friendly place! I loved it!

Disgustingly stale bagels and terrible customer service…read more I get it, this is a small city and I am sure it gets even smaller when college kids go back home for the summer. When I arrived in the morning, it was very busy. I liked the decor of the inside & outside, specifically the themed mosaic planters. I honestly had higher expectations since this place was decently rated, but I was disappointed with the quality of the bagels. They were so bad that a store bought bagel would have tasted fresher. The girl working the register was rude and unfriendly. Overall, I would not come back here and luckily, I live nowhere near this place. I've had fresh bagels from many cities, small and large, yet somehow Los Bagels were the worst.

I enjoyed a golden milk with a shot that was rich, warming, and perfectly spiced--one of the best dairy-free options I've had. I also tried their vegetarian breakfast burrito, which was basically an omelette rolled up in a tortilla--an omelette on the go! It was satisfying, fresh, and perfect for a quick, hearty breakfast. The cornmeal scone was tasty and moist, though I did notice it's not made in-house since I've seen the same one at other local cafés. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy your order. The staff are friendly, quick, and make you feel right at home. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, a mid-day pick-me-up, or something special to take home, Ramone's delivers every time.

I ordered the bacon scramble on a Parmesan bagel. I wish I ordered the jalapeño cheddar bagel but I didn't see them until I ordered. The scramble itself was good. Hearty bacon and eggs were cooked well. The bagel was a little crispy for my liking instead of doughy. Also the Parmesan got a little burned when it was toasted. The coffee was a huge let down.
