We were in town visiting our daughter and went to Frasca for Father's Day brunch with her, her fiancée and his parents. It was wonderful! Here is what we noticed: - Broad menu with lots of options to pick from. - We loved the bottomless drink package, and the fact that you can alternate between any of the three drinks. - Atmosphere was really nice and comfortable. - We started with some donuts and arancini's for the table, which were excellent. Then, my wife and I split both a breakfast pizza and the Wrightwood salad...and, we even had extra to take home. - Service was excellent. Spent an evening at Frasca for date night and had a wonderful experience! Would highly recommend sitting on their patio on summer nights. Our server was super friendly. We started with the mezze butchers platter with 2 bruschetta (ricotta, pistachio + honey and caramelized onion, alpine cheese, + pancetta on the side), and prairie breeze cheese. I loved the customizability of the platters- it's a great appetizer that anyone can cater to their liking! We also got the roasted brussel sprouts and cauliflower and they were delicious. For our mains, he got the margherita pizza, sized like a personal pizza for a normal adult man but definitely shareable size if you aren't super hungry. I got the chicken parm which was fabulous. First time here and I loved this restaurant. So cozy and was looking for a good pizza and wine night and this was it. Got to sample some of the wines before deciding on the one we liked best. Great meal! Our server was Darren and he was super attentive and helpful. I have celiac (gluten free) and he pointed out what on the menu I could safely have and answered all of our questions. The food was delicious, the salad tasted fresh and flavorful, I do wish the dressing was a bit creamier but we almost finished it! We both loved our pastas, the sausage is a must add, very yummy. Love this neighborhood spot! Generally, the space is very kid friendly and service dog friendly. There is an outdoor patio and a large indoor space to eat. The service is always quick and the staff is always welcoming. We specifically came here this day for brunch and it was great! They have a reasonable bottomless deal with food and their breakfast options range from breakfast pizzas to lunch type items. The breakfast pizza was very yummy, didn't feel heavy or oily, and it went well with the mimosas/aperols. The arancini balls were good, not my favorite, but they were decent.  I recommend trying their cheese board and their pastas outside of brunch! It's a pasta-tively delicious day! Restaurant week continues at @frascapizzeria where the menu even offers an alcoholic beverage with the 3 course meal! We started off with the house sangria and it was delicious then we moved on to appetizers which were the chefs meat and cheese board & Caesar salad :) the board was disappointing felt like there could've been more done and the salad was okay and a great portion! The entrees were salmone limone and chicken parmesan and both entrees were incredible and full of flavor which made up for the apps! For dessert we ordered lemon cheesecakes, but they weren't that lemony and they weren't cakes more like a cheese bite. At the end of the night we ordered some hibiscus margaritas which were very delicious, but overall the experience was pretty mediocre. This is a frequented spot for my fiance and I since we live in the area. The service is usually great and we like their happy hour specials! This is definitely a family friendly restaurant, and I feel it complements the neighborhood well. Ari our server was cool and friendly, the quality of the food shows. We especially like the funghi pizza. Came back and enjoyed brunch at Frasca. It was as good as what I remembered from a year ago! Some of their menu options have changed from the last time I was there. I highly recommend their bruschetta (choose 3) to start off. Their donuts look excellent, too. I went for their prosciutto Benedict which was excellent, and my boyfriend chose their sausage pizza which was good too. We love their bottomless spritz, mimosa, or rose for $25 which is a must too. Excellent service and food! We haven't eaten at Frasca since I became gluten-free, but we decided to go tonight for a change of scenery. First, our service was fantastic - Ari made us feel immediately at home, gave some great gluten-free recommendations, and steered us toward the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower dish - neither of which have traditionally been my favorite vegetables, but this combination, with balsamic, bacon, and capers, is fantastic! They also have a gluten-free pasta option, which my wife enjoyed, and I went with the salmon dish - which was perfectly cooked, including the grilled asparagus, even though they were different diameters (if you've ever grilled asparagus, you know what I'm talking about...) - and the balsamic reduction was delightful! I have to add a disclaimer here - I initially ordered the salmon "medium rare, because I'm very picky about salmon" - and it came out overcooked, despite Ari putting it in correctly, and the delivery server repeating "gluten free; medium rare." But the manager immediately came over to check on us, and when I mentioned it, she immediately had it re-fired by the head chef. It was delightful - I ate literally every morsel on my plate. Sometimes it takes adversity before you realize just how committed a restaurant is to quality... Finally, and a minor point, but the wine options are better than similar restaurants in the area - I love the DunZin, and we settled on a bottle of BonAnno, which was reasonably priced. It was a lovely Friday evening date night, and I recommend Frasca if you haven't tried it. read more

The only issue I noticed is the men's bathroom door would not lock correctly. The food was delicious: we had appetizers, pizza, and the affogato. Cocktails (lemoncello spritz) were also great! We visited Frasca for restaurant week brunch and it was a great deal! The restaurant was lively around 12:30 on a Saturday, but luckily we had a reservation. There were a handful of bar spots available too. We started with the peach Bellini on the menu. As a starter I got the cinnamon sugar donuts and my SO had the salmon toast. Both were delicious. For our entrees I had the croque madame and he had the breakfast pizza. And the portions were HUGE. Especially since this was for restaurant week. They were definitely heavy meals, but we got our money's worth for sure. Service was okay, our waiter didn't come around very often and it took quite a while for the check at the end. So here's the deal; if you want good pastas and you like the kids eat free hours and your kids are little, then this place is good place for you. If your kids are school age like mine, they will not be full from the complimentary kids meal so you will end up ordering adult entrées for them anyways. We had such a lovely time with our big group of 14! The manager, Jess had to move my reservation multiple times due to kids after school activities and she was so accommodating and kind. We also asked to pre-order some pizzas and pasta because the kids would be coming in very hungry and our amazing waitress made sure to have that happen. She also provided activities for the kids, and was so kind to everyone in the party. If all that wasn't enough, I had to bring in a separate "cake" for my daughter because of allergies, and she took it in to the back and put candles in so we could properly sing to her. A group of 6 of us went to Frasca for Saturday brunch as part of a yearly tradition. The service was great and all 3 cocktails on the bottomless deal were tasty. The only issue I had was with the food I ordered that was called the "deviled egg carbonara". To be fair when I ordered it the waitress did say "it's 3 eggs is that ok?" And I mistakenly thought oh yeah pasta and 3 eggs is plenty. When they brought it to my table it turns out it was not a pasta dish at all but just 3 deviled eggs with a similar flavor profile to carbonara. I am a deviled egg fanatic and the eggs were amazing, but the name of the dish plus the price point made it fairly misleading. Either way I will still patronize this business but would suggest a rewrite of the menu to avoid further confusion. read more
