We just finished a very enjoyable meal here at Fratelli's Bistro. The highlight of our meal was our waiter, Kegan. What a funny, friendly, interesting, intelligent young man. We talked about many things, and as a waiter he was attentive and efficient. The food was quite good, and the ice cream was to die for; they make it fresh here every day. There is more here than just pizza. They have a wide variety of interesting Italian dishes! Fratelli's is what you always want in a family Italian restaurant, but very rarely get. Ruth and the team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, the menu was simple, the ingredients fresh, and the results were delicious. We had cold beverages and hot fried raviolis (freshly made pasta) minutes after arriving. Our entrees were great, and the taste of homemade gelato Ruth brought by were fantastic! When we drive home for the holidays we always stop here. We have loved everything we've tried thus far. Being diabetic, I usually get the steak salad with olive oil and it is such a simple but delicious salad. My husband loves the meatball spaghetti and the Alfredo pasta. They were so nice to even bring an extra plate so he could split with me, and we never even asked for it! They also have tons of gelato to choose from and it is sooo hard to say no to all of the delightful flavors! Great service and the restaurant is nice. read more

Stop here when traveling through Gallup! Don't do the same old boring fast food. The pizza, appetizers, and beer selection are great. But what is better is the service from the staff and especially the manager. She even bakes blueberry and lemon bread and sells it there and it is DELICIOUS. Driving through Gallup on our way to Phoenix. We chose this place because it's a dog friendly restaurant, and we were delighted with the food and service. The BBQ pizza, New Mexico, linguine, spinach, dip, fried ravioli, and the bread with marinara sauce that came out to us when we sat down were all excellent. My first time here. Had the shrimp scampi lunch portion with a side salad. Was just the right size and tasty. My favorite was the complimentary bread with marinara those were so delicious. It's a rainy day in Gallup so this was some nice comfort food. My server was Ruth and she was so attentive and caring not just with me but I also observed her asking some other customers if they were comfortable. I loved the family feel of the restaurant and the family pics preserved on every table top. read more

My wife and I checked into this little place after a long drive. We had originally planned to just get our food to go. The woman who greeted us was so kind and welcoming we decided to just sit and eat. We had two amazing sandwiches and one of the best spinach artichoke dips we've ever had. Solid little pizzeria with homemade gelato. We stopped here on Friday(July 18th) on 1 of our stops on an 11 day road trip. They had several different pizzas, pastas and sammiches. The pizzas went from traditional to inventive. One had roast beef on it, odd but interesting. I had something they called the Coach Buck. It was ham, black olives, shrooms, and garlic. The garlic was more of a sauce, no chunks. The pizza was solid, the flavor was good but the crust a little too thick for a thin crust IMO. The chicken alfredo was good according to my mom and kid. They had a few appetizers that looked good. 1 was french fries with alfredo sauce and bacon. I really wanted to try that but no one else would split it with me so I didn't. The gelato was really good. I had the cherry cola gelato that was more cherry with a hint of cola. It was creamy and sweet as it should be. They also have 8 beers on tap and the fresh breadsticks were really good. Overall a solid pizzeria for a little western town. read more

Stopped to eat here in a Covid world. Outdoor seating was available. The pizza and calzones were great. My only qualm was the cleanliness of the table we were sat at. We watched the waitress pick up the plates of the people who sat there before us. She had rag to "wipe" the table. The table still had crumbs, grease, and dirt on it. I had a pack of antibacterial hand wipes in my purse that I had to use to clean our table. read more

We were passing through on East 40 headed back home to Nashville and Yelp introduced us to this gem of a restaurant! The food and service was incredible and the gelato was oh, so yummy. The staff was so warm and friendly and hospitable especially in these strange COVID-19 times. We started with Poor Boy Wings then had The Kitchen Sink Pizza, White Pizza, linguini and meatballs, Mama's Chicken Alfredo and finished with their delicious homemade gelato! My wife and I were traveling thru Gallup on 4/7/22 and ended up staying the night. We were both hungry for pizza, so I did my usual research using yelp and google. Fratellis clearly was the most popular in the area, so we decided to give it a shot. We showed up in the evening around 5:00 pm, walked in the door and were immediately met by Stuart, one of the two owners. I mentioned to him we were from out of State and were hungry for some good pizza. He said, "We can hook you up" He then introduced us to his wife and business partner, whom waited on us. I wish I could remember her name, because she was not only VERY attentive, but is a very nice person. While we were enjoying our wonderful pizza and salad, Stuart came over and sat with us for at least 20 minutes. We talked about business and RVs. These people are fantastic and the food is Awesome! The only reason this place isn't getting a 1 star is because of the staff and the gelato both were fabulous. With that said the food. Was. Disgusting. The chicken scallopini was watery I could tell the mushrooms were not properly cleaned and my god the noodles, limp, lifeless mush. The lobster ravioli tasted like it came from a packet. I had been looking forward to coming to Fratellis since I had moved away and would be driving thru town this weekend. However the service and food were so disappointing. Walking in it wasn't super busy for a Saturday but there were only two waitresses and a child working. Our waitress took forever to came over. We ordered. They brought my fiancé a completely different pizza than he ordered stating they didn't have what he ordered. Instead of asking if he wanted something else they just assumed he'd be ok with a pepperoni pizza. It was greasy to the point of being inedible. When I said something about it the waitress rolled her eyes and walked away to get another server. I then explained the situation again and and she said they didn't even have the item he ordered. That it was just on the menu but they never had it and that our waitress should have known this. read more

Stopped here on our road trip home. Pizza was delicious. The crust was absolutely amazing and the sauce and sausage had great flavor. Nice quaint Italian restaurant. We got a 16" pizza to split - half kitchen sink and half sausage/pep (very accommodating) - and it worked great where all four of us got two slices each. Caesar salad and side salad both a nice portion and tasty as well. Didn't get any pasta but it smelled delicious. Our server, Raul, was super friendly, informative, and attentive. The food was pretty good. We ordered a variety of food. The pasta carbonara was delicious! The kitchen sink pizza was perfect. The only drawback was really the service. Our waitress never refilled our drinks. We waited 30 minutes for a to go box at which point we decided to ask someone else. We saw her sitting at the bar chatting with someone else the whole time. Lastly, we paid cash and did not receive the correct amount of change back. Overall good food horrible service. read more
