Their prices are competitive and they also offer a prompt payment discount (within 10 days, cash or credit ). Would highly recommend this company. I Ordered oil 4 or 5 days prior to requested delivery. (through Value Oil)They wanted pictures of the tank to make sure there were no leaks that they might be held accountable for, and I sent them and was thanked, When the driver arrived he wanted to see the tank, so I let him in and he sent pictures back to someone at the office with very little knowledge of the code.( I have been a licensed burner tech, for 40 years with years of installation experience. Whoever reviewed the pictures denied the delivery because I leave a plastic pail under the spin on filter at the tank so that when I cahnge the filter yearly, the oil in the old filter doesn't drip onto the floor. 1) it is not a code violation because it is 7 feet from the flame. 2) it could simply have been moved if it was an issue to the untrained woman denying the delivery, The floor is dry under it. Instead they chose to deny delivery on a cold January afternoon, and sandbag me with a return call to discuss the issue, leaving me in a predicimint thorugh the weekend. read more

I'm heartbroken to have to report that my oil man, Fraticelli Oil, Fitchburg, MA is a relationship that I must terminate after 25 years. On December 5th, 2024 there was a snow storm. The truck showed up but had to leave it in the street and carry the hose up my driveway along side of my RAV 4 with only 5000 miles more or less and scratched the drivers side rear door in the process. It was an unfortunate accident for which, when it started out, would be a simple resolve. Them, being an honest company that would own up to an honest mistake with me, a good cash paying customer of 25 years. But, when the chips were down, they chose a road of lying, blocking, and bullying me rather than a settlement of a mere $1,217.00 to fix the scratch and maybe a ride. read more

Would be nice if they could get friendlier people to work the phones. The first woman who answered whet I called didn't listen to what I was saying and didn't look up my information correctly. I called back 30 min later, got another woman and she was able to look up my information and solve my issue. Their website has all these good testimonials with people saying they received same or next day service so when I asked if oil could be delivered there next day so I didn't have to wait til The next Monday, she barked at me that you have to order 2 days in advance. Maybe don't advertise that you do same or next day service when you don't. The drivers are always very friendly though. Ask for Tina NOT Anne. Anne is less than helpful and rude! read more

I have never had a problem with this company delivering heating oil. They have been pleasant and easy to reach whenever needed. Their prices are fair and pretty much beat out the competition. The only draw-back is that they don't provide furnace tune-ups / cleaning, otherwise it's a 5 star rating from me based on the service, friendliness and availability in placing a delivery. I also like that Fraticelli's gives a 10% discount when paying the balance within 10 days (which adds up over the winter)...every little bit helps. read more

Make sure to schedule a delivery a week in advance because if they get behind and you are running extremely low they will charge you for emergency delivery even though it is their fault. Not only that but if you owe them any amount of money they will not deliver until paid in full. Had a huge fight and reminded them that I had a minor child in the house. Saddened by the service today. I've been a loyal customer since moving to Leominster in 2016. I received a check from my auto insurance company, issued by Citibank. There are no Citibank branches in MA, so i had no choice but to deposit it. Funds not available for two days. I came into the office of this company, with the receipt of the deposited check and asked if I could get an oil deliver and she could run my card Wednesday morning for payment or if I could write a post dated check. She basically said there was nothing they could do. Which I understand, in a way, but I also believe that part of being a successful business is having a respectful, individual, and compassionate relationship with your customers. Especially when you provide basic living services. Considering I had been a customer for 2 years, I was hoping for a little bit of understanding. I will wait until Wednesday to schedule an oil delivery, but it will not be with this company. They have lost a customer today. read more

Disorganization at its' finest. Beyond horrible. Way beyond horrible. If you enjoy missed appointments for oil delivery, almost running out of oil, and broken promises... this is the oil company for you! We'll be delivering oil tomorrow... never show up, no phone call. When they did show up... Driver: "Um, I don't have enough oil to fill your tank. I'll come back tomorrow." WHAT?!?! Great way to do business... what a joke. Changed to a different oil company. We live in southern NH and the service has been remarkable we are so glade we made the change....the rest of my family is changing as well...not to mention its always less per gallon than the other guys...its not always a lot less but it is always always less $$$ and it adds up after 200 gallons per visit....call them they are doing it rite! read more

I just can't. We ordered oil through the company and they were real quick to take our payment but when they came to deliver us oil they decided to take the easy way out and write a nice note that they weren't sure if this was our house even though you can clearly see the house number AND we've ordered multiple times from them before! So on the coldest night of the year, with three kids in the house, one being a baby, we have to go without heat because the driver didn't want to do his job. Oh and to get it rushed to us now during their business day will cost an additional $150 FOR THEIR MISTAKE!!! People just don't care anymore. read more

This company should really be ashamed of themselves. My dad was a customer for several years. He recently had to have both his legs amputated, and lives alone since my mom passed away two years ago. Therefore, he's not able to go to his basement to check how much oil he has. He has run out several times in the dead of winter. Every single time I called this place to see if they could deliver oil, the woman who answered the phone was beyond rude. I was barked at every time for not calling sooner, even though I explained his situation every single time. "He. Doesn't. Have. Legs!". No empathy. AND he was suppose to be have been on a regular delivery schedule. They never showed up. Two times I had to call after hours because he ran out of heat when it was negative temperatures outside. The woman on call refused to schedule a delivery for him unless we paid in cash. Because we always carry $400 in cash on us at all times. Right. I begged her to take a credit card over the phone (I was in tears at this point), and tried to explain to her that he was going to freeze to death and had nowhere else to go. And if he did, he needed a wheelchair accessible van to transport him. "Cash only". I drove an hour from my home with my toddler, to his home in Clinton. At least the delivery man was a bit more empathetic. Our experience with this company was just awful. I suggest going somewhere else for your heating oil needs. read more

I am not one to write reviews (good or bad) but I am so surprised to read about the bad service in the other comments. I have been using this company for 19 years and have never had a problem. Always come when scheduled too. As for the check situation that sounds crazy. I have paid by credit card for years. I also get the cash price for paying within the 10 days. I keep it on file with them and they automatically charge it for my delivery. In fact I just called to order my oil and they are coming tomorrow. read more

Poor Quality Oil. Had trouble with my oil burner firing up slowly on startups. Changed to a different oil co. and the problem went away immediately. (nothing else was done but change oil). I complained to the owner in writing. No response. Apparently they could have cared less. Stay away. read more
