Dang..I really love the layout of this store and the items they have available, but the experience I had while checking out today was SO unfortunate. I approach the cashier, Josette's line, she is frowning so heavily and doesn't even reply back to me when I say hello. As she is ringing me up, an older man, more on the slender side, grey hair, walks up to her and goes "I hate everyone today!" She replies "Yeah, me too, I've felt like that since I got here" and continues to frown...like way to make a customer feel really awkward. The older man (who wasn't wearing a name tag) then goes up to another cashier and lets them know once again...that he hates everyone today, loud enough again for customers to hear. Save that talk for the break room?? Just really gross behavior from employees, that made me feel really unwelcome and awkward. I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

I ran into FF to pick up a healthy and light dinner for my husband and I and I thought I'd be getting quality ingredients from an upscale market...NOT!! For $9.00 each, we both got brown, soggy lettuce in our pre-made salads. I didn't even get a full chicken breast in my Southwest Salad, but rather an over-cooked, rock-hard, bland, 1/2 piece of chicken. What a disappointment. I could've gotten a better salad from McDonalds. $18 thrown out the window. read more

FINALLY! A good grocery store in La Mesa. Sure I love Trader Joe's and sprouts but where to find the more obscure item or fun new local brand of chips. Driving all the way to Lazy Acres no more! Now in East county there is finally a good natural market! I've been here several times since they opened. Hate to write this but I had an awful experience at this location. They had many items on the shelf that were expired. Given the price tags & brand I never thought I'd have to check the expiration dates. I was wrong! I spoke with Daisy who said she was a manager - she did not offer any solutions or apologize for the bad items I purchased. She was dismissive and I was honestly embarrassed by the treatment she gave me in front of other customers. She was very unprofessional and I'm honestly surprised she is a manager there. Ive spent thousands of dollars here and I once loved this store but I will no longer spend my money here especially after today. Advice to Daisy: Learn to treat customers with respect. Even a simple solution, apology or offering to help solve the problem would have gone a long way. Also, having side conversations and laughing with staff is not professional when someone is in front of you. read more

Been coming here for the pizza for quite a while with my grandson because we order and eat it Outside. We used to love it. What's changed. The pizza is over loaded with cheese and sauce and is completely soggy the last 4 times we had it and is now 2 Bucks more. Wouldn't mind the increase if the pizza was good but it's not anymore! This grocery store is such a joy to shop at. It's unique to use joy in combination with grocery store, but I feel that sums up my experience very well. There are so many unique, local and smaller business brands in this store that I appreciate. They also have an amazing salad bar and sushi station where they'll make a roll for you if it's not already set out. There's a huge selection of penny candy, nuts, snack foods and more. Everything feels healthy here, and even the toiletries are organic. They have a large assortment of natural health products. And to top it off, the staff is warm, polite and friendly. Frazier Farms is winning me away from the store I was loyal to for about 15 to 20 years. I thought of Frasier as expensive but as I begin to compare prices I think unless you buy specialty items the prices are good. The bulk prices can compare with anybody's and you can get peanut butter ground as you wait. It doesn't get any fresher than that. One negative:a female checker today whose name starts with S (she had beautiful tattoos),had a very sour attitude. That was too bad because 90% of my experience at Frazier Farms today and each of the few times I've been there has been outstanding customer service. If you are looking for something (and because I'm relatively new to Frazier Farms, I'm always looking for something). they won't say oh I think it's over there on the other side of the store in aisle two. No they will walk with you to where the item is and be sure that you have it before they leave. Awesome.. read more

I have to share how upset I am with the pizza department tonight. I called to order a pie at 6:45pm. I was told there were already 3 orders in front of me and since they close at 7pm he couldn't take my order. My husband laughs that I'm in here so much they are going to know me by name. I love that this store opened up in La Mesa. I've always been a Trader Joe's shopper and still am but there are things I can't get there. I never go to large grocery stores like Vons or Albertsons so having Frazier Farms nearby is awesome! They have such a variety of choices and foods. I love the fresh seafood counter, the sushi is yummy, and the pizza is delicious. I also love the fresh produce and the bins. Can I just mention you have to try the cannoli from their bakery! That's probably my favorite treat. I've sent quite a few of my friends to shop there and they have all loved it. I love love love this store. It is like a mixture of Barons, trader joes, Sprouts and windmill farms all together or Barons on Steroids. There are so many workers to ask where things are because I am still new. Outside they have produce to choose from like Sprouts. Then they have the bakery goods. I have tried the gluten free brownies, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. All good! Then they have a deli, meat, cheese section, chicken sausages ll, frozen food, baby food, prepared food. Dear Frasier Farms Fletcher Parkway, i want REALLY badly to love your store. I live around the corner and i keep coming back because of it, but something has GOT TO CHANGE. I am not a picky costumer, things dont have to be perfect for me, but i keep getting rotten things from here! We have gotten rotten cosmic crisp apples, bought an entire bag of totally rotten onions, stinky brown packaged meat, an entire watermelon that was spongey and fermented. I am so sorry to leave a bad review, but this happens over and over. I wish now i had taken pictures, sorry Yelpers... i continue to shop here because i really hope it changes, it is a new store to the area, after all... sigh. read more

It's alright but I think I'd rather go to sprouts. I like the variety of "counters" and the coffee bar and dessert area. But I find other sections lacking like the cheese area. At first it appears large but actually the artisanal cheeses are kinda limited compared to other stores. Also, last time we were here we bought a cheese and it was already bad when we brought it home. It's very strange because Some sections like the hummus section is very thorough and has great selection but then other sections like in the dry goods offer very limited selections. I feel like it's a place that would be a stop en route to another store because I don't feel I could get exactly what I needed all here. I also find the layout of the middle aisles kinda random. The house made burritos, salads etc. this time did not look very fresh. Also some of the items packaged in the bulk section had old labels on them making me think that they don't rotate through their stock very often on certain items so you're not always getting fresh food. The checkers were very friendly and staff was helpful. Worst of all though is not the store but the patrons. So rude!! I was right in front of the sushi counter looking at the sushi and had a man stepped right in front me bending over looking at all the sushi taking his sweet time with no apparent knowledge that I even existed and his son was literally like 3 inches from me. I get you can't always social distance 6 ft apart but this was like he was not even trying or even saw that I was there. I also saw multiple people not wearing their masks properly, one guy had a teeny little bandana that didn't even come down to his chin. It was like a bandana crop top for his face lol. (thank goodness the salad bar items are all packaged) I also almost got ran over by an older man in a motorized cart. I find their store to be pretty expensive and just not very convenient to shop in. with sprouts they offer coupons, often have sales and are also compatible with ibotta cash back as well so I think for me, I may stop here once in a great while just to get a juice or sandwich but it's not worth it to do my grocery shopping here. read more

I've been here about 8 times now, and while the parking lot never seems that busy, it is always somehow a CF inside. I get anxious because I always feel that I'm in the way no matter where I am. And there are also so many workers alllll over the place, it seems unnecessary. They do have a good selection, especially of vegetarian/vegan products, compared to sprouts. Their beverage and bulk bin sections also have a lot more options. But their produce section feels a little sadder than sprouts' (they don't appear to be as fresh as sprouts' selection), and their bread and cheese selection could be better as well. Their sandwiches are good, but be prepared to wait upwards of 30 mins. And why do I have to fill out a huge 8x11 sheet for 1 smoothie? Wasteful. All in all it's fine, and I'll maybe drop by in a pinch, but sprouts comes out on top. read more

This grocery store, by far, is BETTER than any regular grocery store, big box store, discount food store, or health food store. What I mean by better is that they carry many vegan and dairy-free products in almost every department and they don't over-charge you. Plus the quality is better than everywhere else. My most recent find has been their dairy-free tuna salad. It's worth a try even if you can tolerate dairy. I wish I lived next door to the grocery store. It's legit! read more

Amazing fresh products with a friendly environment and staff. This place is doing everything right. Bring your money here I don't doubt you will leave satisfied with high-quality organic meats and produce and all the above. Prices are not unreasonable... Of course there are some things that are just gonna be marked the way they are but for the most part I think it's better than Whole Foods. And it's in East County which makes it better for those who drive out for quality. I get the organic housemade pet food! The butcher makes food for your pets and they put it in the freezer you just thought out and portion it out for your cat like me. Great place to shop read more

Okay, we got lucky in La Mesa. This place is quite good and will add to the neighborhood. Its very clean and on the upscale side of the health food store. The look and products more closely resemble Whole Foods than say Sprouts. They are selling high quality with some higher prices, but this fills a market gap in La Mesa. Not sure if there are many places besides this that serve gelato in East County. Won't do all our shopping here, but won't need to venture out in San Diego for these foods anymore and most all of us will benefit with a few of these items in the pantry. I can see this place getting crowded, so might be a good idea to go when it opens. Definitely recommended for folks that like Whole Foods. read more

Checked this out today and I was immediately in Food Shopping Heaven! OMG!!!!! After living in my same home nearby for 42 years, I was beyond thrilled that such a large, beautiful market went into that space!!! There are so many gourmet and quality products that are not your standard chain items. As a foodie I have driven all over San Diego County in search of wonderful cheeses, produce, meats, and store-created salads, sandwiches, and today my usual grocery shopping habits just came to an end. Not only that but the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, everything was well-stocked, and everyone was wearing masks. It's a bomb shopping experience and sure to be a huge success! Great store with a good variety. They have beautiful fresh organic escarole which no other store carries. I have bought their steaks on sale and they have been fantastic. The deli has quality meats and cheeses and they know how to slice it thinly. Everyone working is always so nice. It is now a regular shopping trip for us. I recommend you give it as chance if you have not already. read more

Only thing I would change about this market is to offer your pizza earlier. I try to return home by 10am and football begins at 10:30am on Sunday so 11am pizza start time is too late. Please consider moving it to 9 or at the latest 10 am. Thank you! read more

Frazier farms does not honor the prices on they're tags (pretty sure that's illegal) I went it today to but Canadian farms purely O's, which I've bought multiple times on sale, the tag said manager special for $4.39 Expires Mar 31st, so I bought a few thinking oh the sale goes through the 31st I have plenty of time to get more. So I got in today now all the tags for that entire brand that said managers special through the 31st are all gone now? What ? I brought it up to the management and all of them made excuses as if it's normal to make a sale price through a certain date and just cut it off weeks early when it says nothing about that as a possibility. It's clearly wrong and misleading I think we all that and couldn't even get anyone to agree that this is wrong in any way, smh do better frazier farms. What store lies about there prices? I made a special trip for those and you don't even honor your prices. Thanks for wasting time and gas. Btw the price of this cereal is $8.99 normally smh. read more
