Finally came here on a Friday night because Costco was closed. But I've been wanting to check this out and loved it! There's so much parking and not sure if it's the time we came but the store was so peaceful and mellow. Reminds me of sprouts but Whole Foods-something in between. Less chaotic (again maybe because it was a Friday night and ppl are not at the grocery stores??) Very spacious between the aisles, everything so near and organized. So many great brands I absolutely loved it. The seafood looked fresh. We got 24 oysters! 6 of each kind I feel it was cheap for under $2/piece! (They do not shuck them for you). Prices seem average if you compare between sprouts and Whole Foods. They have salad bar, soup section, and olive bar! Plenty of check out lanes but at the time we went two were open. We had no one and the staff were friendly. I would definitely come back. Loved it!

Not only is the grocery store well stocked with groceries they also have a bakery, gelato shop, drink bar and hot ready to eat food, they have a huge selection of gourmet foods and wines. They also carry my favorite brands of vitamins and supplements. Oh and I can't forget to mention their floral arrangements are so beautiful and very affordable too. Highly recommend this grocery store

Stopped by with a friend after a run to buy some fruits but got distracted by the deli. Ended up buying a Reuben sandwich which was delicious! Christian, the gentlemen who helped us out, was very friendly and energetic. He said he would give us a sample of the salad but might've gotten distracted by something else so we never got the sample. However, he was very generous with the meat in the sandwich so it made up for it. I also got a passion fruit elderflower kombucha and quite honestly, probably one of the more balanced ones I've had, perfectly sweet and sour.

I stopped in here upon wanting to get a pressed juice from somewhere and it said they had a juice bar inside here after researching yelp, so I was sold. I will say the staff that work here aren't the nicest. Got some attitude and don't want to be bothered vibes. But The juice was good! Tasted all natural not sweet or very minimal sweetness. There was also a lot of good options for produce. Had a bakery as well that looked like it had some delicious treats. Nice market to shop at to be honest.

What an amazing little market grocery store! It reminds me of a sprouts world market north gate mash up. Super busy. Feels like a real market with tons of energy but a bit dingy. And restrooms need to be checked more frequently. We made a stop here on the way back to the hospital and grabbed coffee and lunch - yes the had great on the go options. I of course ordered sushi while mom got a tuna salad snack pack. Both were perfect. My Mexican chocolate late with oat milk was a bit off for me and mom's chai latte was too sweet. Aside from that can't wait to come back and explore. Reasonable priced snd you can buy in bulk. Looking forward to a return true shopping visit.

I have lots of good things to say about this place. This review is particularly for their juice bar. They have an order ahead function. I've done that I've gone inside to order. It doesn't matter what you do a juice or any drink from their juice bar will take well over 45 minutes. None of the people that work behind that juice bar know the recipes or how to make those drinks so you end up paying almost $10 for something that you wait for 45 minutes for that doesn't taste anything like it's supposed to. I will not be going back to that juice bar and I don't recommend it for absolutely anybody until they get it together.

NATURAL AND ORGANIC (5 stars) They pride themselves on the highest quality natural and organic products! It's off Oceanside Blvd, in a plaza, and the space is very spacious. When you are not from the area, gems like these get overlooked, so I took the time to "know the area" because I can see myself live in Oceanside. In the meantime, 30m trek north with no traffic is no biggy for such random adventures. My intentions were to buy fruit, instead ended up exploring every single aisle to see what they got because find natural and organic markers fascinating for some weird af reason. They offer ALOT!!! And the price on food at a natural and organic market is a lot cheaper than places like Sprouts or TJ's in San Diego proper. I felt the prices were a tad bit cheaper with healthier options. Now I know where I need to redirect my grocery shopping and find a Frazier closer to SD proper (if it exists). Until the next review...

I remember hearing about the opening of Frazier Farms as it is located near my office, and several colleagues asked, "Have you been to Frazier Farms yet?". I had no idea what they were talking about until last December when I first visited. Frazier Farms is really a lovely high-end supermarket located in a busy shopping area in La Mesa. It is bright and clean with fresh produce and bakery goods. They have a juice bar, deli, salad bar, and olive bar. They sell fresh seafood, including some lovely looking oysters. There, bulk nuts and other foods, wines, craft soaps and more. The staff is really very friendly. The first time I visited, I was trying to find something for a potluck that evening. I knew I wouldn't have time to cook. It was really a lot harder to find a potluck item than I thought it would be, however I did settle on large cooked shrimp with a jar of cocktails sauce. I had hoped for a bigger variety of ready-made potluck items. More recently I visited earlier this week. I was looking for a lean protein and a salad to bring to dinner at a friend's house. Again, I was looking for something pre-cooked as I was going there straight from work. I chose a kale and bean salad, but had a harder time picking a protein. There were a few options, but not as many as I had hoped. I finally chose the cooked teriyaki salmon from the pre-packaged section near the salad bar. I also chose the pickled mushrooms. Everything I chose was very good, but, again, there were limited options for what I was looking for. On another note, I was also shopping for a few lunch selections that day. I chose the poke bowl (Chef's Selection #2) and the seafood ceviche. Both were better than you would expect from a supermarket. So far, my favorite item I bought at Frazier Farms was the pickled mushrooms... delicious! All in all, Frazier Farms is a lovely place to shop. For whatever reason, I have had difficulty finding exactly what I was looking for each time I went, but I did end up purchasing some quality items each time.

1 inch of frozen açaí ...
    John P.

Store looks really nice inside. However, the açaí bowl I ordered was just so-so. The fruit was very fresh, so that was good but I didn't care that the açaí was frozen rock-solid thus preventing me from mixing the contents due to the hardness. They keep their containers with açaí already in them in a freezer until someone orders one. Then they pull it out and add the fresh fruit. But still, concrete at the bottom and impossible to mix. Their meats looked amazing however.

The crazy calabrese was a little on the salty side but it was still pretty good. Best sandwich so far has been the spicy sicilian. The market is well sorted with lots of interesting items and fair prices. The only thing is their tall cans of craft beer. A lot of them were old or had no date on the bottom of the can and as someone who works in the beer industry let me tell you. Beer does go bad. Not in a you can't drink it kind of way but flavor declines, especially craft beer. Skunky, taste changes, aroma changes, color changes, it's just not great. I picked up a can that was dated May 2025, for craft that is OLD and not good. Not a problem for your average person but I'm just letting y'all know. Nonetheless this place is delicious, the service is great, fast, friendly. The food is overall good, the market is nice and well sorted. What I don't understand are the comments that say I been here so many times but never left a good review, suddenly they have one bad experience over something like not enough lettuce or they ran out of something and leave a bad review. I tried the curbside pickup for the first time a few weeks ago and spent 20min in the parking lot before I gave up and went inside. I talked to the very friendly self checkout cashier who was very helpful and made it understood that this happens a lot. She guided me to the area where they hold the pick up orders where a young man in charge seemed to be unaware of my waiting in the parking lot and explained that the app sometimes has issues. He brought my produce out and suggested that I call the number on the signs next time as to not repeat this issue in the future. I understand that technology sucks at times and didn't hold it against him. I tried the curbside feature again today. Checked in on the app, waited 5min and called the number as previously suggested. Talked to someone who said they'd be out shortly, 15min went by. Called 3 times with no one picking up. Finally went into the store, to the area where they hold pick up orders to see what the issue was and I could hear the phone ringing from my own call with no one in sight. Grabbed my own order (coulda taken some else's as well apparently) and walked out the door after half an hour from me first getting there. Woulda been much faster to do my own shopping. -10/10 do NOT recommend curbside pick up at this particular vons but feel free to do other shopping there including the flower department which I frequent. It takes a LOT for me to leave a negative review but if this vons doesn't have the staff to provide curbside pickup then simply don't offer it, it's that easy.

This location has a good sized parking lot, we never have issues finding a spot, the store has a good layout, this location is better stocked than other sprouts (I love that they have honest kitchen pet food cuz that's what we give our pets and also that they just started carrying pasture raised chicken), is nicely lit & clean, but what makes the biggest difference here is how noticeably friendly and kind the employees are. In the past we were checking out some freeze dried fruits and an employee came up and asked if we wanted to sample it. It's not like it was a bulk item - it was a sealed packaged product. We had already bought them before in a different brand so we didn't want to have him open it for us but I still thought that was really nice. Throughout the many times we've been to this location, we've always been met with genuine smiles and warm greetings. Today in particular as we were walking down the dairy aisle toward the eggs, there was a lady restocking the eggs and as I walked toward her she gave me such a warm smile. And then she chatted with us to let us know about the current wellness week sale and then helped us find the eggs we were looking for. She was super sweet. My husband and I both walked away saying how nice she was. Then we went to the supplement section to see if we needed anything because of the wellness week sale and an employee was walking the ends of the aisles asking if anyone needed help finding anything - but in a nice way not a pushy way. We went to checkout and I saw the name badges of the cashier and bagger. Jacob and Joe. Again, both just genuinely friendly. You can tell the difference between an employee who's just doing a job and doesn't care and asks you if you found everything okay vs someone in a good mood who actually seems to want to help if you weren't able to find everything you need. The vibe here feels like the manager is a super nice person and treats all the employees with kindness and respect while asking them to focus on customer service and because the manager treats them so well and created a safe/healthy work environment- it's a pleasure to work here. Not saying that's what is happening here but I'm just saying that's the vibe I get.

There was some confusion but everyone I spoke to was AMAZING. We went to pick up the ribeye today after calling and they said they had it aside for me. The manager at the front ringing us up to threatened to not honor our rain checks because they didn't make sense to her. She was arguing and raising her voice with the staff and it was a wild show. She was embarrassing the poor employees. After all said and done, she only honored the quantity of 2 on the bone in ribeye. Everyone else was amazing. The meat dept originally calling to let me know they wouldn't have it and I could have a rain check. To Bryan helping me out, and whoever I spoke to on the phone earlier today letting them know I was coming by to get them. The manager, however, is a demeaning miserable woman. Her poor employees. EVERYONE would get 5 stars, and her.... Zero. Place better management. A manager should lead by example and not treat people so horrendous. We even had to record her on our phone because she was making such a scene.

Where do I start? I went in there around 8:30. The meat selection was nonexistent. Half of the sale…read moreitems were already gone. Granted, it was later in the evening, but there was nothing out. I went over to the produce section, and the new bags are absolutely horrible. I split five of them just trying to bag corn and ended up throwing the corn straight into the basket. Same thing with avocados -- they kept falling through, breaking the bag or ripping it. When I went to check out, there were no cashiers available. It was all self-checkout, and I had a full cart. I really didn't feel like playing Jenga, loading my groceries up and then unloading them back into the cart. I ended up doing more shopping, hoping someone would come back from break. When they did, it was packed and people were trying to leave. Very frustrating. I've been going there since it was Lucky Food Basket, then Vons, now Albertsons. I think I'm going to have to start going somewhere else. It's just not convenient anymore, and the upkeep is slipping. The people who work there -- the majority of them -- are incredibly nice. All of them are nice, but something's going on with that store!
