From the high quality toppings to the high quality service there truly isn't a better place in the area for a quick, absolutely delish electric fired (vegan & gluten friendly) pie! The main freak himself, Nathan, made me one of the most delectable things I have ever put in my mouth just last week and it was completely vegan. I want to stress to you how incredible it was for me to be eating completely vegan and enjoying it. The masterpiece was olive oil, kale, jalapeños, pineapple, peppafoni and vegan cheese with a bbq drizzle and it was drool worthy. I brought leftovers to my also not vegan boyfriend and he loooooved it and didn't have a clue. That's quite an accomplishment in my eyes. I had the opportunity to try Freak Brothers the other night and I was really impressed. Their crust was delicious and the flavors were excellent. So disappointed! We ran the Aravaipa Jangover race Saturday night then headed down to the Churchill for beers and pizza to celebrate. We were excited to support Freak Brother's brick and mortar after eating their pizza at trail races over the past few years. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza, but was given a cheese pizza. When he returned to the window to let them know they forgot the pepperoni, he was told "the pepperoni is under the cheese." There was no flipping pepperoni on the pizza!! Disappointed to be lied to and so quickly dismissed, especially when standing at the window in an Aravaipa race shirt. Come on guys, you are better than this! read more

I was headed through Phoenix on a trip and saw Freak Bros had vegan and gluten free pizza. I am dairy and gluten free so pizza is rarely an option for me. I LOVED the pizza! Freak Brothers Pizza was the perfect addition to our wedding! My husband and I wanted something different from the traditional wedding food and when I discovered Freak Brothers it was like a match made in heaven! Nathan was so sweet and helped us through the planning with ease! We had a few gluten free guests attending and he assured me that he could accommodate, and he did! My guests felt included and raved how the gluten free pizza was some of the best they had had! We also got salads that were amazing and such a compliment to the delicious pizza and garlic knots what we're so fun! To top it all off they even wrapped up some left overs and gave them to us so we could eat when we got back to our honeymoon suite which was probably they sweetest thing, no body talks about it but as the bride and groom you can eat and drink a little but you're so occupied you don't really sit down. So eating the pizza in the suite just the two of us was a moment in time that we both remember. If you're in the fence about this company my suggestion is just say YES! I stopped by the Churchill on my way home and decided to get a pizza from Freak Brothers. Being from New York I'm a bit particular about my pizza but I thought I would give them a try. Well it wasn't a good idea. I got the pepperoni pizza and there were only about 7 pieces of pepperoni on the whole pie. Also, the sauce was not very good. Tasted way too sweet for pizza. There wasn't even much cheese. The only good thing was the crust. Now I wouldn't complain if the price was reasonable, but it was over $11 dollars and it wasn't even worth it. Fired pie and Mod Pizza blow them away and they are cheaper. I like the concept of the Churchill but I've now had both the tacos and the pizza and the food just sucks. I know this is now a review of the whole Churchill but I am not impressed with anything there. read more
