If you don't know, this type of pizza is a deeper dish rectangle pie with crispy crust as a result of cheese being cooked on the edges and the sauce on top of the cheese and toppings. But that's not what they do here. Not even sure this qualifies as pizza. What I got was not a Detroit pizza and it was 26 bucks. The pic on the website looked amazing. What ended up in my pizza box can only be described as a hate crime. How does this happen? I even asked for it to be well done and it was still undercooked. The cheese tasted like wax. They put the sauce in containers on the side which was watery and had lacked flavor. It didn't seem like anyone knew how to make this. I tried to share it with everyone in the office. Weekdays they have a deal for a large pepperoni or cheese pizza with 3 meatballs and two cookies for 35 bucks. Pretty fair. Cookies like the junk you get in a tube. Definitely not respecting that craft. Bummer is you can't modify it with less or no cheese. You have to call them and deal with some AI robot and when you finally get connected to a human it's too late half the time. Really wish they would fix this. But I'm never surprised when a 13-time world champion pizzaiola franchises this kind of thing and doesn't work out the most basic of bugs. Another bonus is the rewards program.
