Looking for an informal meal after a movie at the outlets. Finnies was packed on a Thursday night. Drove over to Cronies. No problem getting a table on the patio. The patio is large with tables nicely spaced. The patio has lots of TVs if you want to watch a game. It faces the parking lot so no significant car noise or exhaust smells. Lovely place to have a dinner on a summer evening. Our server was at our table right away to get our drink order. They have 4 IPA beers on tap - NICE! She brought me 2 to taste and I picked the one I liked better. 16oz glass for $10 My wife and I split the Reuben on rye with curly fries ($16). The sandwich and fries came out amazingly fast - unfortunately the fries were cold. No problem getting a. Replacement. They took them back and came back with them crispy and hot - just the way we love them. The Reuben was delish - as good as any I have had at the local deli restaurants. To sum it up, it's busy, with multiple wait staff attending each table, loud sports bar, lots of big screens playing various games, and various bar food items available on the menu. I ordered the mini corn dogs, nachos with chicken, and cheese sticks. A buddy ordered wings. Everything was as expected, wings had a nice spice to them, and although the nachos have a chili cheese which was unexpected, they were still ok. The waitress changed a TV to show the Padres game my buddy wanted to watch, and pretty much all waitstaff was really attentive cross covering tables. That's where the praise stops , the fries were hard but looked fresh which tells me they flash fried some fries that were already fried once . The grilled chicken sandwich was the culprit in determining why I left this review . Why would you stick two chicken tenders between some hamburger buns ? Laziness is why ! Buy some chicken breast and grill it and call it a day ! They need to stop cutting corners on cost . That sandwich was like sticking two hotdogs in a sandwich and calling it a burger . Gtfoh . I've been to several other Cronies locations and have always had great experiences, so this review is only for the Camarillo location. I would absolutely recommend Cronies, just not this particular restaurant. It took several minutes to be seated, and then about 15 minutes just to receive a glass of water. I asked for lemon, but it never came. I also noticed tables that were seated after me receiving their drinks before I did. Unfortunately, it seemed like the servers were spending more time socializing than checking on waiting customers. After waiting so long without anyone taking my order, I decided to leave. I did call the Camarillo location afterward to share my concerns because I wanted to give them the opportunity to address the experience. Unfortunately, it didn't change my impression. The food and service at other Cronies locations have always been great, which made this experience especially disappointing. I hope this location improves its customer service. read more

Delightful start. ​We picked a table, which welcomed us with a fairly sticky surfacd. Ten minutes later, a young waitress finally graced us with her presence to take a drink order. When we had the audacity to ask for drink menus, she treated us to a heavy sigh and an aggressive eye-roll. ​She eventually returned, opted for total silence, and literally dropped a single menu onto the table. Then she vanished. We sat there for another twenty minutes, apparently invisible, waiting for anyone to take our actual order. We ended up leaving and opting to spend money elsewhere. ​This place has a gross vibe, below average food, and garbage service. If you enjoy paying to be ignored and annoyed, by all means, go here. But it was okay. I had Mango Kart Beer which was good the cleanliness was not too bad either. Now the customer service was good even with how busy it got in there. I was very impressed how well they handled servicing me and checking up on me even with how busy they were. As far as sports grills go Cronies is one of the better options. There are multiple flat screens and games going on so it's very noisy and semi chaotic. That's part of the fun! First let me say that my husband and I enjoy this establishment and it is one of our go to places. We generally will have the ice cold schooner with our meals. We went in this week during happy hour. It was a fairly quiet and not crowded at all. The staff was fair this particular evening. It was during happy hour. I asked what type of Cabernet for house wine and was told Josh. I was asked about the size of pour and I chose 9 0z. I was not provided a price difference but reluctantly agreed as I had not a chance to look at menu. Happy hour menu price was $7 for glass of wine. Okay. I thought a 9oz could not possibly be more than 11 or 12 bucks. The menu does not provide prices for 6 and 9 oz pours. J.lohr was listed at $10 a glass. I request a second glass but of J.Lohr as it's a better quality than a Josh by far. The waitress said they didn't have any J.Lohr. So I requested same. The wine was just okay. We didn't order much in our bill should have been reasonable. My meal was served cold and my husband's was hot, but this was a one time thing. We are generally served hot food. However, I was charged $15.99 for a 9 0z glass of wine. There were no prices anywhere on menu for glass of wine. I was not provided wine list or cost of wine. I can go down the street to woodranch and get a great glass of Justin wine for $16.00. I can go to Rics and get a full glass of wine for $8.00 and that is a Robert mondavi. I will occasionally get a glass of Justin and happy to pay the difference as the quality supersedes Mondavi. Needless to say I was livid. Josh and is a less complex and less quality of wine. I'm not sure how your establishment can justify all the discrepancies. read more

I love this place and always recommend it to those I love. My husband I and frequent here often and we have our favorites during happy hour: The wedge fries are delicious and wings never disappoint. I have ordered their crispy chicken sandwich with thirsty sauce, their turkey sandwich, mini corn dogs, and garden salad. Each of these choices are consistently delicious. Consistency is huge for me especially regarding food. We have servers we looks forward to seeing and service is usually quick even during game days. Over the years my family has enjoyed this place. The food has never been bad and I can't remember them ever goofing on an order. Maybe a couple times they were busy and it took a minute but who's counting time when there is so much stuff to look at. The walls and ceiling are covered with things to look at. There are tvs and the staff is always smiling. Just chill out and relax, you are in a friendly environment. Often I hear the staff use the customer's name. Instantly I swear to go there more often so that I too can feel like I am in Cheers too. Dated reference I know. The best part about this place, besides the staff, is the frozen beer glasses. Only been a few times I have had them since I always have my kids. But when I do it is nice. Try the cheese sticks and mini corn dogs but give them a minute after they hit the table. Your tongue with thank you. The club is very good and the strawberry lemonade (?) is loved by my kids. Haven't had anything on the menu I haven't enjoyed but I stick to the regular order. They kept saying early birds and they open at 9am but there website states 8am. Maybe the owner needs to update that if that's the case they open at 9am.
