I can't believe I've lived in the area as long as I have without trying Frederick Social. We don't have any plans on Christmas Day and Frederick social was open. We arrived around 1 and the server working gave us a tour of the place and thoroughly explained how to use the beer wall and gave us some good suggestions. We ordered some good and grabbed a beer to watch the game. The food was really good, I love the nachos with brisket. The layers are good as well as the toppings. My only recommendation woken be to smoke the brisket on site. You can tell that it isn't. The chicken tacos were very fresh and light. You can taste all of the flavors. They have a wall of 35+ beers, mix drinks, etc. with a ton of variety and local brews. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and are dog friendly. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

A novel concept to be sure. "Like Fro-Yo for adults" is what the gentleman at the counter said when I walked in. When you want something no pressure, when your not sure you can handle being social, ironically Frederick Social might be the spot for you. I haven't tried the food, I didn't even sit at the bar. But what I needed was a few beers somewhere that wasn't home on a Sunday afternoon, after a week of dealing with people non-stop. What I got was a delightfully peaceful beer drinking experience, with a decent selection, and what works out to be a fair price per pour (assuming you don't pour the $1/oz beer into a pint glass). I'll be back.

Experience was new and fun! I've never seen a self pour tap house, let alone with so much variety! There's truly something for everyone whether it be beer, cocktails, wine, or kombucha. They have cute safety checks in place to keep people from going overboard, but other than that, freedom is yours! Food is more unique than your typical bar fare, with bison burgers in a bowl, or kimchi mushroom burritos for example. The pretzel bites were a personal favorite. Would definitely come again.

Wow, what a great great place I was taking star for a walk and happened to run into this cute little place kind of tucked away a little bit. I walked in popped my head in and asked if they were dog friendly and not only are they dog friendly? They have dog treats. The place is so cute. The prices are absolutely amazing. The selection is great. I had the most amazing Bartender I can't remember his name. He also does Hair gorgeous smile, amazing personality just knowledgeable as can be he has blonde hair on the top just super friendly, just great great great service great place sat outside. Had a couple of drinks. I cannot remember the name of this. It's that new Italian seltzer, and it is absolutely amazing. Thank you for the great service. I met some amazing friends/neighbors. I will definitely be back. Thank you so so much.

We came here w our 2 kids in a day trip and enjoyed ourselves. The food was above average for bar food. I got the grilled cheese w chicken and mushroom. My kids got soft tacos & cheese pizza. The chicken was "very juicy" according to my daughter. My husband got "straight shooter flat bread pizza". We also got tater tots. The ambiance was nice. Good selection and variety of music. I enjoyed eating at a establishment that supports LGBTQ+ and trans rights clearly. Cute photo backdrop. Small area for kids to play. The bathroom even had a changing table and step stool for kids. So as someone w a family, I felt seen. The manager came around and asked how we were doing and offered to show my husband how things worked since we had never been here before. He got two beers from the taps. I'm pregnant so I got a non alcoholic beer. He ordered me a mojito mocktail but we never received it and it was voided off our check. Total for us was $126 for two adults, two children, and three drinks combined.

Large selection of beverages in a continent location on the creek. Loved the Carmel espresso cocktail and the bison burger bowl.

Frederick Social is a game-changer for beer enthusiasts. This fully self-serve beer tap restaurant offers a unique and interactive experience that's sure to impress. There are rows of gleaming beer taps, each offering a different brew waiting to be sampled. The concept is simple: grab a glass, grab a tap card, and pour yourself a pint of your favorite beer. With a wide selection of local and craft beers to choose from, there's something for every palate. The laid-back atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends or unwinding after a long day. Plus, the self-serve setup means you can pour as much or as little as you like, giving you the freedom to sample a variety of brews without committing to a full pint. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always on hand to offer recommendations or help you navigate the tap selection. We didn't try any of the food because we had just eaten lunch when we stumbled upon this but there's a menu of snacks and shareable plates to complement your brews. If you're not a fan of beer they also offer a few wines, seltzers, and mixed drinks on tap. And if you're not in the mood for something alcoholic, they offer zero alcohol beers and kombucha!

Overall: super inclusive spot, fun pour your own beer selection, casual food, some TVs, lots of fun seating, some games, a kids area, and inclusive single stall bathrooms We will definitely be back. It was right on the river walk. It has a nice indoor and outdoor area to sit. I loved how there were lots of different places you could sit inside and I really appreciated the kids area. The pour your own beer wall also had coffee, komboucha, a non alcoholic option, cocktails, and I think wine. Options for everyone. The employees were very nice. One was new which I think is why our order originally came out without the proteins. It was fine for mine cus it was just on top but it made the ratios super off on my partners pizza. My spinach and broccoli bowl was tasty and balanced.

Staff is very nice.  You walk in and open up a tab, they give you a card and you can use it to purchase yourself wine or beer from the taps machine.  They have about 50 taps!  The food is reasonably priced,  but took a while to come out, about 30 minutes for the eggs and kids Cheeseburger sliders.  They send you a text when your food is ready and you go pick it up.  I like the atmosphere, they open the garage doors when it's nice weather out.  They also have a small kids area.  It's a great place for drinks.

Amazing concept in Frederick where you get to pour as much beer as you'd like from over 60 options and get charged accordingly. You use a Frederick social card that compiles the charges and a new glass for each new pour. They also have great happy hour with great food options for $5. We got tacos and street corn dip and it was delicious. We discovered the dragon mule cocktail on tap there and loved it. There's plenty of drink and food options for everyone with different health concerns. Can't wait to go back! It's also family friendly with games for little ones and outdoor seating as well.

I had driven two hours and was hungry, but I was also committed to making good decisions. Or at least mostly good decisions... The hostess offered me a seat at the second-floor bar rather than the quoted 25-30 minute wait. Great! Solo diners love surprise upgrades. Unfortunately, when I got upstairs, the one "available" seat had apparently been claimed by a diaper bag and a giant straw sunhat belonging to the woman sitting next to it holding a too-little-to-walk baby sitting at the bar. Uhhh...this isn't going to work. Back downstairs I went. I gave them my name and number, found a shady spot outside, and settled in for what I assumed would be a long wait. Five minutes later, my table was ready. Thank you, Universe! My server greeted me with water immediately, explained the QR code menu situation, and told me not to order through the app because she'd be right back. No worries, friend. I'd already done my homework. I knew exactly what I wanted. One Martha Stewart's Prison Pizza ($22), please. (Sausage, broccoli, ricotta, Calabrian chili peppers, lemon oil, and sea salt.) I asked for the chili peppers on the side because I know myself. I like adventure. I don't enjoy possibly setting my mouth on fire. And a Diet Pepsi ($3.50), because balance. While I waited, I people-watched, which is one of my favorite hobbies. White Rabbit was PACKED. The patio was full. The downstairs bar was full. Upstairs was full. Couples, groups of girlfriends, older folks, younger folks, families, solo diners...everyone seemed happy to be there. The place itself is pretty small, which explains the wait. Six tables downstairs, maybe eight bar seats, more seating upstairs, and a constant dance of servers carrying food through the same front door customers use. Add the "please wait to be seated" crowd gathering in the narrow hallway and I'd describe things as organized chaos. But once I was seated, I was perfectly comfortable and out of the traffic pattern. One cool touch I noticed: outlets and USB ports built right into the front of the bar. Maybe that's common and I've somehow missed it all these years, but I thought it was pretty neat. Then my pizza arrived. Oh good lawd. OH. GOOD. LAWD. This pizza was SO GOOD! I knew from the first bite that I was in trouble. There was no sauce, which surprised me at first, but after approximately three seconds I no longer cared. The sausage was plentiful. The broccoli added texture. The ricotta was creamy and rich. And that lemon oil?! That lemon oil set it off! Everything just worked together perfectly. The Calabrian peppers arrived on the side exactly as requested. I bravely sampled a very small amount on my fork before desecrating my pizza and quickly determined that folks with stronger heat tolerance than me will absolutely love them. They were just a little too spicy for my delicate tastebuds. Thankfully, the pizza was incredible without them. And those slices? MONSTERS. I ate one and seriously contemplated a second before reminding myself that I had dessert plans elsewhere. A box was requested. Self-control was exercised. Barely. As a solo diner, I also want to give White Rabbit extra points. Multiple staff members checked on me throughout the meal. I never felt forgotten, rushed, or weird sitting by myself. Everyone was warm, kind, and made me feel completely comfortable. I really appreciated that. My total bill came to $32.44 including tip which felt really reasonable given the amount of pizza I consumed and brought home. Worth every penny. I'm already scheming my next two-hour drive back. Maybe a smashburger. Maybe those Brussels sprouts everyone keeps raving about. Maybe another pizza. Maybe all of it! I highly recommend checking out White Rabbit. Make it a destination, not just a stop while you're in the area. Don't let the size of the place or the wait scare you off. It's totally worth it. PRO TIP: If you park in the Church Street Parking Garage, look for the staircase labeled "STAIR 3." White Rabbit is literally right outside the door at the bottom. No hide-and-seek required!
