Visited to pick up some equipment to help with a new house. Staff was very friendly and helpful, I would recommend this location.

I always find what I need here. Large and easy to navigate parking lot. Some staff are either super friendly or some are just plain rude. Last visit I had, the self checkout person was being sassy for no reason. I did not ask for help and was taking my time and behind me I hear her loudly tell me "press check out"...." press card" and more. You could tell she hates her job and just wants to treat people like they are stupid or something. It was weird. I just ignored her and never turned around to look at her as not to give her bad attitude any attention. When leaving I saw she had brown hair with a long ponytail over 30. I really don't understand the micromanaging and taunting of customers here. Her behavior was off putting. Maybe avoid her at all costs if you run into this person or hopefully they put her somewhere not around customers as she can't handle it and this is coming from someone who worked customer service for years. Maybe some staff needs re training on customer service and friendliness? I would return when looking for a specific item but because some staff are rude I definitely will avoid the staff. read more

EASIEST PLACE TO HAVE FUN SHOPPING!! I went to Home Depot to grab some things that we needed for our body shop. Morgan was able to help me with picking up things from a locker, which I had not done before and she was SUPER sweet and helpful. While I was there, I browsed around the plan selection and realized what a good deal plants are there! You can get a great deal on any plants! I went in there a while back with my daughter around Halloween and they had such a good display of all the scary decorations too! Prices are decent, and their return policy won't make you jump through flaming hoops. They stock just about everything, which is why I keep going back. And props to their app--the store locator feature is like having GPS for your DIY ambitions. Now, asking for help? Total roulette. Sometimes you hit the jackpot and get someone who clearly used to be a contractor and can MacGyver their way through anything. Other times, it's a deer-in-headlights newbie, or--if the universe is really feeling cheeky--Grumpy Gus from aisle 14 who looks like he lost a bet just showing up to work. So if you already know what you need and don't mind navigating the orange maze solo, Home Depot's a solid choice. Just don't go in expecting a TED Talk on toilet flanges. read more

Can't really say I'm a fan of Home Depots. It's big, it's impersonal, it's hard to find help. If I'm lucky, I'll find what I need. If I'm not, I hope I find someone to help me. Finding exactly what I need is about 70%. That's not too bad, I guess. I'm quite grossed out that they don't have hand sanitizer readily available by the self checkout because you have to use the hand-held readers. So everyone touches them. Gross. It's COVID, people! Came in for a specific electric pole saw that was in stock so I could use same day. The product was locked, and I couldn't get any of the three people I asked for help to get it unlocked. So I left and placed an online order for pickup, and went to Ace for all my other shopping. Killed some more time and then finally the order was supposedly ready. But now I've logged into the app, parked in a pickup parking spot, shared my parking spot number through the app, and I'm just sitting here, for 20 minutes waiting for my order that is supposed to be ready. This place sucks unless what you want is in stock, on a low shelf, and you don't need any kind of customer service. read more

Purchased from https://www.homedepot.com with delivery from this store. Delivery were indicated tor the next day (Tuesday), Immediately after I paid the delivery date moved to Wednesday. No delivery attempt made on Wednesday and after calling customer care, it was first moved to Friday, then Saturday. Saturday came and went, no delivery. I'm on a call for the last 31 minutes with customer care trying to reschedule my order again. No explanation why delivery dates are missed. No guarantee that the next date will be kept. This is a horrible way to treat paying customers. read more

Dropped in to get a rolling furniture "dolly". Just a wooden square with wheels. This store is usually well kept and orderly. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable most of the time. Whenever I come looking for something, I usually find it. They've also handled the health and safety issues pretty well. Although I've seen a couple of customers w/o masks. read more

Bad service and brain dead checkers with no initiative. They display stuff outside, so when I'm done shopping inside and at the checkout I ask them to charge me for one item outside at the other door. They couldn't and wouldn't. I would have to go all the way out and get it after i had already scanned my stuff at the register. The sad part was that there were 3 available checkers standing around and not a thought glimmered to have one of them go out and get the sku. The store lacks contemporary best practices. Learn from the grocery business where each checker has a cheat sheet of skus especially for all the produce. Dahhh. read more

Ive been to plenty of Home Depot locations where the staff/workers are friendly and very helpful. These locations are usually out of the way, like Federal Way, for instance. Unfortunately this Redmond location is sub par. The workers here (generally speaking) seem unhelpful. Either they are nowhere to be found or they just dont know their stuff. Ive seen too many workers standing around talking to each other. This location seems to be filled with lazy workers who have a very low work ethic. This is not true across the board however. Im mainly speaking of the older men working the isles. read more

My shock of a life time happen today at Home Depot in Redmond Washington. i am a Navy Veteran.............My serial number is 392-07-85. My Drivers License shows me as a veteran...................... But Home Depot disgraced me today by not allowing me to have my 10 percent discount, because now they have a new system before any veteran can get the 10 percent discount. you must go on line if you have a lap top and fill out a report that shows you are a Veteran,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it is a total scam against us veterans to not provide you the discount. it needs a document from your time in service before they give you the discount. It involves your phone. i have no documents now since it has been since 1958 when i was discharged, July 10th. But how did my Washington State Drivers License have Veteran placed on the bottom right corner of my license. I did not fill out anything for this identification appearing on my license. I have been going to this store since they opened many years ago, and have spent thousands of dollars from all appliances to lumber enough to fill a semi truck. and this is the way I am treated.................. Sixty five years ago i was discharged from the United States Navy, and besides me, my three Brothers all served..................so Home Depot has really hurt me today for doing this to me......................... And to think, this is my penalty for not getting my Military Discount after all these years, my lost records......but you have my serial number, which no Veteran ever forgets. This is the worst run Home Depot I have ever had the displeasure of working with. The general manager should be reprimanded and replaced. Waiting on hold for 10-15 minutes and still never having someone pick up the phone is the norm here. If you have an issue with a delivery, you might as well return/refund and give up because the team cannot execute. I really liked this one. Convenient with lots of stuff and ready to help with orders. Not anymore. I think Covid didn't help as we've been here a couple of times and there is no one who can help. We see some staff but they just walk away. And the 2 available did not know a single thing. They are not willing to help as before nor knowledgeable. Before they had walkies and now they just relay on a computer near the Customer Service exit to know staff schedules so you can look for them (I haven't met then and don't know how they look like) or schedule an appointment by phone! The curious part is that someone was supposed to be there but apparently there is no specialized people and nobody can help except specific days. This is too hard and if not getting your stuff, maybe moving to another store would be more convenient (painting and details that can't be managed by myself). read more

Within a fairly short period of time they canceled the order because they said there were none available. If you want terrible customer service and to have their contractors damage your home and do a terrible job then choose Home Depot. I chose Home Depot for the countertop install in the kitchen and bathroom in the condo I recently purchased. Home Depot contracted through Precision countertops and throughout the process the "project manager" did nothing but confuse the process and let me know it would take a month minimum to template and then for the demolition and install of the new countertops. On the day of the install the 2 contractors were extremely unprofessional and rushed through the process leaving damage that was not discovered until later. It shocked me that these were the individuals Home Depot wants representing their company. When they were removing the bathroom countertop they hit the toilet and cracked it (pictures attached) and didn't tell me. I had to come back one day later to the leak lucky that the cracked toilet hadn't bursted onto my downstairs neighbors. They also didn't a half-a** job on several things for build up and said these were additional charges. All things I had to repair afterwards. They damaged my wall on the way out with their cart. All of these items led to various back and forth with Home Depot who said I had to deal with precision to get a minuscule amount of compensation back. There are lots of reputable countertop companies around the Eastside and I'd recommend you look into these establishments before choosing Home Depot. read more

This is the kind of place that: you go with the intention of buying one item and you leave the store with 10 items in your hand. The staff is always so friendly; they are always ready to help you out. Sometimes my husband ask me to buy thing that I have no clue what it is or what it looks like, but I always go home with the right item. I like to buy flowers and plants there as well. They have good quality and way cheaper them other nurseries. The items in general have a competitive price as well. The return policy is great as well. When I return something, the employees don't treat me like crap. it is always a good experience. I can tell you I never had a disappointment going to the HD in Redmond and since we are remodeling our house, I will go back there really soon for sure! read more

Today is St. Patrick's Day. While I don't have a snake problem, I do have an ant one in my house due to the recent heavy rain. Visited Home Depot to help me banish ants from my abode. This practically looks identical to the Bellevue location. Minus the coffee stand and people hanging outside the store (looking for work?). I did notice that this location has tool rentals which I did not know before. Came to pick up some silicone caulk to close the small cracks in my bathroom that seem to be the entrance to this ant invasion. They had a ton of choices at good prices, but I was a little clueless on which to pick. Seemed like there were numerous that would do the trick. Ended up just picking up one based on the product description. Hopefully this is a good choice. There was no staffers nearby to advise me unfortunately. This is the opposite of my visit yesterday to the Bellevue store, in which practically every Home Depot member I encountered was asking if I needed any help. Granted this was in the early morning when there were less shoppers, but still I do see a difference between the two locations. I do like the Redmond location for its convenience. It is next to Fred Meyer and across the street from Target and Kohl's. If I need anything from those places, I tend to head to Redmond rather than to the Bellevue stores of these chains due to the distance issue. The Home Depot in Redmond is fine and has as good of a selection as any Home Depot that I have visited. But it is the convenient location that brings me here. read more

I was in the store yesterday looking for some paint help. There were 3 other people also looking for help. I heard someone come over the intercom that help was requested in the paint department. 10 minutes went by, no help. 2 people left, then it was just 2 of us left. Another few minutes went by without any help showing up. I decided I had enough of time wasted. As I was walking out to my car without getting any help I noticed an employee standing there doing nothing. I think this is the last time I come into the store. The last time I came in (6 months ago), I almost got hurt with all the stuff piled up in the aisleways and not on the shelves. There needs to be a HD staff that comes out and either tickets or tells these people that they cannot park here!!! I do not have the time to be driving around this parking lot looking for suitable space for my rig and trailer! This is ridiculous!!!! This store is ridiculous.... I tow a trailer frequently for work but NEVER able to get a parking space, even in the dedicated trailer spots... the shoppers are so inconsiderate that they park in the trailer spots and not even towing a trailer. Anyone experience this? July 16 refrigerator delivery guys drive into my property landscaping lights and rock that displays my address. Then they install my fridge wrong so the ice maker doesn't work. I call Home Depot the same day, and they tell me someone will call me. Their insurance company emails me a few weeks later, and tells me "someone else will call me." Jose Garcia from Temco a Pomona CA based delivery company calls me up and tells me that I need to provide him with proof that the delivery truck damaged my property. I say no problem and email him not only a few photos, but also time-date stamped video of the truck backing and crashing into my landscaping and lights. Then there's silence for three weeks. I call Jose and now he says "how much do you want?" I tell him I want my property repaired, not money. He says "I'll give you $200, but not a penny more. I gave in and said fine, I don't want to waste anymore time on this. It's been three weeks and now I get a letter from Temco claiming because I had not been in communication with them that they will close the case. I call Angela, the REDMOND Home Depot. She says someone will contact me. That was Aug 29. Today, September 20, I visit the Home Depot at 4pm. I ask to speak with Angela, I am asked to wait. 30 minutes later I ask how much longer I should wait. Another HD employee goes off to fetch her. Now it's been an hour and still no one. I've spoken to three HD employees and no one seems to know where Angela is. I'm then told the district MGR is here, so she can't see me. After 65 minutes. I told them I'd wait. I'm going on 110 minutes now... and when I finally see Angela hiding away in her office, she claims "no one told me you were waiting." I'm astounded that someone could lie outright as she did. After four different employees called her directly including the assistant manager (who also couldn't care less about a customer) Angela decided to ignore me for two hours, then lied about it. On a positive note I'll also be posting a resoundingly positive review for Moses, the assistant manager at the Bellevue Home Depot who called me at once, displayed sincere concern and empathy and resolved my situation. Order carpet 2 months ago. They came they measured told use they can't move the piano and to empty the bookshelves and some other other prep stuff. Hired a guy to help with the moving and packing and my husband took 3 days off to be there..scheduled installation. Installers came looked around and said they couldn't do it cause the carpet "is dirty". The Whole thing was a waste of time and money. They did nothey to help us. read more

Letter of Gratitude I am writing this letter from my deepest heart and in great joy! On April 22, around 1:30pm, I was shopping in the store. On my way to parking lot, I found my handbag was missing. My cell phone, credit card and car key are all in my handbag. When I noticed this, I rushed back to cashier to seek help. I appreciated the anonymous cashier in counter No.2. I don't speak English, however. Fortunately she is Chinese, so we can communicate in Mandarin. She called my cellphone, and hurried to finish her work on hand and pass on her work to another staff. And then she guided me in the whole store to hunt my lost handbag. Finally we found the handbag in Lost and Found. A Home Depot staff found it and gave to Lost and Found. Holding my handbag, I didn't know what to say. I don't know how to express my heartily appreciation. So I wrote this letter to show my heartfelt gratitude to the cashier who reached out her hands to help me and the Home Depot staff who found my bag and handed it into the Lost and Found. Home Depot in Redmond typically has everything we're looking for. When we really can't find what we're looking for, staff are happy to help if it's somewhere in the store, or to look up nearby stores to see if they have it in stock. We've gotten an absurd amount of tile here when we redid our kitchen over the past summer, and I'm surprised I haven't reviewed them earlier! Dave in plumbing has helped us out quite a few times, and has given us advice on home projects, he's great and always recognizes us and our dog at this Home Depot. :) read more

I have been to many of these stores and am usually frustrated by the lack of help/helpers. Today was a better visit so I felt it only right to say so. While it's true I had to go searching for help in the lumber department and the man I found was from another department, he went out of his way to find someone who could cut a dowel for me. The lumber guy was perfectly pleasant albeit a man of few words. In general, this location has tons of parking and there are seldom lines for the cashiers. I just wish they'd hire more people for their sales force. read more
