The Nashville Hot is also a family favorite. It's also hard to beat the Brussel Sprouts. Omg, they are delicious. The service is straight forward, order at the counter and they'll bring it out to you and the restaurant is clean and compact with seating for about 20. If you like salads and sandwiches, you can't go wrong with this place.

The sandwich was the same size as always and was decently filled, though there seemed to me more ham and less roast beef or turkey than normal. The most glaring part was the taste overall - the cold cuts and cheese didn't quite taste the same, but most glaringly, the mayo did not taste like Admiration Heavy Mayo, which has always kind of what made their sandwiches really pop. Hopefully, it was just an off day, but the last time I was there, the chicken club also had some issues.

I grew up in Levittown back in the 70's and Fred's made the best rice pudding I have ever tasted. I've been trying to imitate it for many years. Maybe someday I will figure it out, but til then I will just have to eat the sub-par pudding everyone else makes. And all his food was outstanding as well. What made the experience even worse is that all the employees were giving me dirty looks the whole time, making me feel completely unwelcome and uninvited. No customer should be treated this way. This place needs to get their menu straight and learn how to treat customers with basic respect. Very disappointing experience.

On top of that, I waited almost 30 minutes for a $15.50 sandwich that didn't taste good. What really threw me off, though, was what I noticed while waiting. I saw employees vaping right in front of the food, and I watched them handle money and then touch the food with the same gloves -- which makes wearing gloves pointless. On top of that, the staff seemed irritated with each other the whole time, like nobody actually wanted to be there. The place feels rundown, the service is uncomfortable, and the food didn't deliver. Based on what I experienced, I wouldn't recommend it.
