This took 4 days and the install crew showed up on time and cleaned up each day and answered my question as I watched over everything. I was worried that my stucco might not come out right, but even that was on point. I also double-checked the windows at the end and the only thing I found was a casement window that was a little sticky to open and they quickly fixed it. Regarding the quote process, Tony was easy to work with, knowledgeable about their products, and revised my order several times as I worked out the final details. I had a few concerns, like making sure that when I replaced a narrow window at my front door that the frame would not be too thick, but it looks great. Also thanks to Debbie for checking after the job (and after I paid) to make sure I was still happy. Based on the job they did at my house, my neighbor is going to update their windows too.

Pricewise, from the companies we interviewed, Tacheny was in the upper mid-range. One of the reasons we opted to go with them is we have Solar panels and they have their own Solar contractors to remove the panels. That saved us about 2K based on pricing from Solar companies that do the same work. There were a couple of issues we noticed after the initial roof repair was completed. We talked to our site manager, Mahkobi, and he looked over the areas of concern and got those fixed. The drywall repair was exceptional and there were no issues whatsoever. Even though we had to address some of the roofing issues, I felt the office and site manager kept us in the loop, listened to our concerns and addressed the issues to our satisfaction. I would recommend this company for any exterior work you might need on your home.

I learned my HOA required one additional window to be replaced (entire sides of the house had to be done at a time). I asked them to come out and measure that additional window and collect payment. I called and emailed for weeks and the sales person finally got back asking if the owner got in touch with me. I am nearly 5 months in and I cannot get them to respond to email or phone calls and now have to chase them down through the credit card company. Stay away, I now see why they closed down their old business and started fresh last year.

When initially tried to reschedule it was for 5 days later, you know, when my wife wasn't there. This project is my idea. I'm going to make the decision on who we go with. This project is a done deal. We've already decided we want it done before summer. Fact is, if pricing is close, I'm going to go with the service that can get it done first. When I made the appointment they told me it was a 3 window minimum but I was interested in 1 big picture window and a door. The rep called at 5:35 pm to come measure for 5 windows. Misinformation. He kept saying I could reschedule and the windows would be $3000 each even though he hadn't seen what I wanted. Said he was in his way. He never showed up and I got no call from him or from the company the next day. Poor communication and business practice. Not interested.

2/15/23: For the price of the TruStile door paid, it should have been replaced with a new one as it…read moreeither was delivered damaged or it was damaged on the install. In addition, there was gap at the bottom and side of the fire-rated door when installed. I had requested a new door to be installed due to the damage and poor installation job. Rather than order a new door, of which the vendor, Trustile, should have replaced free of charge since it arrived damaged, it was "repaired". The repair job is still poor and you can tell there was damage. Even though painting the fire-rated door might "fix" this, I shouldn't have to first sand it myself and prime the area to make it right. And when the threshold at the bottom was adjusted, there still was a slight gap and had to request to be readjusted again, I double checked this time before the installation manager left. The sales and installation manager were nice, but the the customer service on how to remedy a damaged door was not very good, especially for the price of a custom made new door. I will not be using them for any future projects and do not recommend them. Edit to review 2/21/23: After speaking with the business manager, was able to resolve the issue with the damaged door. Another individual, who was noted to have many years woodworking experience, came to repair the damage on the door properly, and sanded and primed the area too. The results are much better and acceptable versus the prior repair attempt. Cal is amazing and did a great job. I also appreciate the response and communication from the manager as well as a call from a TruStile representative. My original review has been revised from 1 star to 3 stars. Edit 2/25/23: It appears the adjustable threshold was not installed properly as there is now a gap at the bottom right. Seems like the adjustment did not hold, not sure what happened, looks like the right side is depressed. Another issue of workmanship on the either the original installation or repair. Back to 1 star and waiting to hear back from the business manager. This will be the third attempt on getting the install on this door correct and up to standards.

The proprietor, Matt, and I agreed upon a price, and was told he'd take measurements before installation. Since then, I've received texts about unexpected delays, both professional and personal, with assurances that the windows will indeed be installed once all these events subside. From March through June, I followed up and followed up, only to receive excuses/explanations about this or that unforeseen event that hasn't allowed him to complete installation, but not to worry, it will get done. After four months of unfilled promises, three days ago I finally texted him to ask if the job was going to get done at all. I just need an answer one way or the other so I can plan on how to proceed and if I need to contact another company. This time there were no excuses/explanations...he simply ghosted me. After all this time, I get neither an installation nor even the courtesy of a phone call to explain why. To string a customer along for four months to ultimately just ignore him, that's no way to do business. The only reason I left two stars instead of one is the few times I actually spoke to Matt, he was polite. So, I give him a star for that. But he sure didn't fulfill his promise, and there's no reason to treat customers this way.

He said he would follow up with us the following week . The week goes by and no contact. This is not a good way to conduct business. By then I decided to contact another contractor who was available and interested. The work has been completed by another contractor.
