It's very simple. If you have a current policy and you want to make any kind of changes make sure you have money for the brokerage fee or like they call it an "endorsement" fee. It will range from $80-$145!! I was hung up on for asking what the fee was for. I understand charging a fee for a brand new policy but this is no way to treat an existing customer. This company needs to do better. I shouldn't have to pay you another brokerage fee for you to help me make a minor change on my policy. Do business with these people at your own risk. read more

About a year ago, I was ready to get my driver license back after a year long suspension due to 2 DUI's. Every major insurance company located here in So. Cal I called to receive a quote for auto insurance an also an SR-22 would either reject me due to my driving record and if they did accept me, my yearly insurance premium would have been around $5k. Imagine a $600/month insurance payment.... I found freeway insurance on Yelp and even though the past reviews were negative and not very reassuring I still decided to make an appointment to see my insurance options. Horrible company. Company prays on low income people. Promise of low rates and then puts you in a contract that will not cancel till you pay for the whole term (time) to the company (Freeway). Take one look at the inside of the store. It looks like a boiler room, make the sales then disappear. Just a bunch of chairs and table. The minimum in decor and office equipment. The employees don't even make their space personal. I guess its not a place of pride. THE SCAM 骗局, , , , How does it work? High pressure sales. Pushes you to purchase and sign agreement in the moment. Then flood you with paper work. Do not fully enclose all condition of agreement. When do you realize? Once you have sign the contract, they lock you in to a payment or the contact binds you to pay them regardless of time of coverage. Oh yeah, their affiliated insurance will not deal with you. So you can not go direct to the company. Who do you turn to? You will have no choice but return to them. Freeway will then hold you policy in hostage, yeah like a terrorist. They will not cancel your contract till you pay them off. Oh yeah, don't for get about late charges. It will be added in if you are not careful. What can happen? The money you owe will go into collection. Yeah you will now owe money and will affect your credit. Now you will have one more debt over your head. ................and all you wanted was insurance. Now you are one more step behind in life. How to avoid? Go with another company. This company is lowering the value of this city. read more

So Freeway Insurance outdid their previous duplicitous ways: After refunding me $100 that they overcharged me, they refused to refund the full $380, only refunding the brokerage fee. So basically the company they wrote the policy for, Multistate, received the undeserved gift of $111 of my hard earned money. Which I would have never been in a position to had taken if it weren't for Maria Reyes writing policies without reading the fine print. They are high or something. I went in trying to get motorcycle insurance. First the guy was chatting away in between gathering information. First they hit me with a $10,000 payment for one year of insurance. Then liability was $354 deposit with payments o $29 or so which was not bad. Since I don't have a license yet they said I can upgrade it to full coverage but payments would be around $450 to $500 monthly. I just got up and walked away. They're terrible at their job read more
