For my move, I was up against a time constraint and didn't have time to do pack, load up a truck, etc... We had Brian stop by and he spent about an hour and a half putting together a quote. It felt a little sticker shocky but I didn't really have a choice. I did love how they gave us a full itemized line item breakdown of the quote. It made it very easy to understand what we would be paying for. Brian worked with us to refine the quote. It was a tricky one because we were putting half of our stuff in storage locally and the other half was coming with us to our new residence about three hours away. He was really responsive, professional, and had solid answers for all of our obnoxious questions. Because of our work schedule we couldn't do the move in consecutive days so Brian scoped out the project to do the local pack on a Wednesday and then return on Friday to pack and load the remaining items. Then unload us on Saturday AM at the new place. The team showed up and looked like a pirate crew of personalities. But lemme tell you, these were some of the most polite, careful, and hard working folks I have met. I'm not exaggerating. There were so many times that they didn't think I was watching, and I'd see them add a little extra padding to the corner of a table to protect it, or add an additional box around a TV to ensure the screen was safe in transit. They treated our stuff as if it was their own. I was SO happy that I didn't feel any need to micromanage. They quickly earned my trust and I stayed out of their way. I didn't hear them complain once. They rolled out the red carpet for us. Literally. To protect the floors, walls, and doors. As we were unpacking in our new place, it became even more clear how careful they had packed our stuff. Even though we were only relocating 3 hours, they could have safely shipped our things internationally. When it was time to pay up, guess what! They had realized they quoted us too much and gave us a refund. Like a big one. They could have EASILY just kept that money and we'd never been any the wiser. I shouldn't be so surprised at the honesty based on meeting the team. We're legit never moving again without hiring Move NW and requesting the Olympia team. 11/10 value for the money. Horrible! the driver 'forgot' our big valuable sculpture when we moved from Olympia out of state…read more It is heavy and they charged a lot as part of a Huge moving bill to transport it. After two days of chaos with them in our house packing and loading, the driver Rushed us that he finally walk through, wouldn't go out and check the sculpture area saying he already got all that. The delivery was a moving nightmare. The truck and driver showed up at 8:15 am, due at 8. By 8:45 No crew was there so he called and was told that the company they hired to move us in "forgot" to send the message hiring the crew. After 10 am 3 people who spoke NO English showed up: a small man complaining of arm pain all day, and two small women in their 20s who couldn't carry anything heavy. Nothing was put where it should have been as they couldn't read labels or get the tag numbers right. The driver told them to flip over our big expensive cherry dresser on the concrete porch but there was NO blanket or padding on that side so it has huge gouges. and the driver said he "Forgot" our sculpture. Many items were scratched, they broke 3 legs off a big upholstered chair and the move in crew broke the 4th leg. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID! Hire anyone else!

I have also used this company to ship delicate scientific equipment. And they have done it well: equipment arrived at their destination in the condition they were in to begin with.
