When I went to talk to them and ask them to explain it, the one guy was explaining that we rented it a week plus a day plus a few hours, so the rate was more. I explained that I haven't even had it a week and the few hours late is really just early tomorrow. And even so, how did it get to be more than our estimate?!? His co worker, Brandon jumped in and said that he literally just checked it in and any questions about the bill, I'd have to call the office in Oregon where I rented it from. I was confused because I understood them to be all one entity. He was firm that he couldn't help and I'd have to talk to Oregon. So I was understandably upset that these two gentleman couldn't count days and see that I had the vehicle less than a week! Instead of being helpful, they refused to even consider what I was saying. As I walked out, I mumbled (not as quietly as I thought) "idiots" as in someone who can't count 7 days probably shouldn't be in this business and it's idiotic. I go out and get in my car with my family. Brandon followed me out, knocked on the passenger window to I rolled it down. He said there was no need for me to be upset. He was being professional and explained why he couldn't help. He demanded an apology and then when I just looked at him, he said that he would accept my unspoken apology. I wait for him to start to walk away and i started to pull out, window still down. I heard him mumble something as he opened the door to the building. My 11 year old says: "he just called you a f'n b." (Except he didn't abbreviate it, because he said it as he heard it. ) Worst customer service ever!!!! I cannot imagine what possessed him to storm out to my car, to knock on my window, to demand anything after he refused to provide any customer service!!! I picked the car up on a Friday and returned in Thursday, how is that a week, a day and several hours??? Sadly, even though we received wonderful care in Oregon, I will never use budget (or avis as they were together) again!

We have a car but traveling with 2 kids in a cramped car is not a good time so we rented a mid size SUV from this location for a week and a half. They were super busy that morning yet still had our vehicle ready to go at the reserved time. Alvaro was great! We picked up and dropped off the car with him and he was incredibly helpful. He took the time to go over everything and answered all of our questions. We were very happy with the SUV, it was freshly washed, the interior was clean, gas tank was full, and it was well maintained. Thanks to Alvaro the entire process was seemless and fast. Got to the office right before closing and within 20 minutes of making reservation and was told, apathetically, that they had just rented their last vehicle. They said that the person I made the reservation with isn't physically in their office, and that they could maybe find a car for me next day or I could drive an hour north and get one in Seatac, maybe. Wasted all my last nerves, daughter's gas and our energy with these clowns. If you are going to make reservations for people, make damn sure that the car is RESERVED. That's literally what you exist to do.
