I can't thank Michael enough! I recently changed out my suspension and was in dire need of an alignment. I was able to drop my car off and within 2-3 hours he was done, despite my rears being completely out of whack due to replacement of suspension components. As everyone else has said, Michael is a soft-spoken guy, but he definitely does the job right. I have the WheelWorks "lifetime alignment", but it's essentially useless as they'll either argue with you to try and get out of honoring the work, or they'll get your alignment only barely within the recommended specs. You can tell that Michael takes great pride in his work, as he gets your alignment right smack dab in the middle of the manufacturers recommended specs. I was recommended this place by a friend, so I decided to call Fremont Alignment the day of. When I called, Michael answered the phone immediately and asked me a few questions about my car. I have a lowered 2004 Audi S4 and he told me that he cant guarantee that it would fit on his alignment rack, but I wanted to give a try anyways. He got me set up with an appointment a couple hours later. Once I got there they immediately put my car up and began working on it. My car made it up without any problems. Did a walk in. Prices are competitive. This place was recommended on a Tacoma forum. Came in with a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with a 2" lift all around and offset rims, larger tires, stock LCA/UCA/CV axles, and 5100 bilsteins on all four corners. They took their time and test drove to ensure no rubbing while driving which I greatly appreciated. In addition, after the service was done, they've explained and told me what they've done and made some recommendations regarding to another modification if I am not satisfied with the current alignment. Let me just say, fair prices and great service. I was worried about finding a alignment shop that would be able to handle modified cars, specifically being lowered. After speaking with them on the phone about the car I owned and my concerns with being lowered, they told me to come in and they would be able to help me. It helps to make an appointment to make sure you are seen because some days they can be packed. I've taken my car there multiple times and each time I've received great and friendly customer service. They even showed me how the car sat and the adjustments up close so that I would understand how my camber could be adjusted better and the wear it would have on my tires! This place is legit. They only do wheel alignments so they are very knowledgeable on how to get it done not only correctly but actually go above and beyond what other shops are not willing to do. I brought in my Audi A4 B7. The front camber isn't adjustable, only the rear is. Fremont Alignment readjusted the front subframe to make the camber even on both sides and readjusted the rear subframe to make the gap to fender well even on the both sides. After they completed the wheel alignment, everything is in factory specs but actually equal on both sides!!!!! You will not get that type of honest work from other places. Mike is a solid guy and seems to know his stuff despite being soft spoken. I'm a car guy myself, and do all my own maintenance and repairs. An alignment is something that you have to take your car in for a professional to do with precise equipment, otherwise your tires will wear faster than they need to. His standard rate of $60 for a four wheel alignment is very good. Most shops are in the $80 range. One thing that he does which is different from all other alignment shops I've seen is that he does a short test drive both before and after the alignment. I'm assuming this is to identify any issues prior to changing anything, and also to make sure the changes actually result in straighter steering. Only a couple of minor reasons I didn't give the full 5 stars. First reason is that I called 20 minutes before I came in during my lunch hour, and he said he's available if I actually came within the next 20 minutes. When I got there, there was a car he was finishing up on the rack, and then one other before me. I understand the second car could have just came in before me, but I guess you shouldn't tell a customer you can take their car right away if there is a possibility of someone else slipping ahead of you. I had to take a longer lunch because of this, but it wasn't a huge deal. Second reason is that I didn't see any torque wrenches around. I understand seasoned mechanics have a pretty good touch for this sort of thing, but the anal retentive side of me still prefers the accuracy offered by a calibrated tool to make sure all nuts and bolts are tightened properly. He pointed out that one of my tie rods was slightly bent, which I hadn't noticed before even though I've spent quite a bit of time under the car. I appreciated that he took the time to show me where the problem was, and he also offered a discount on a return trip for a front alignment after I replace the bent piece. Another plus is that he'll fill your tires to the exact PSI you want on each corner. His alignment rack has air on each corner, and the pressure is computer controlled - pretty neat! I was a little skeptical about the small number of reviews and the fact at most of the reviewers only have a handful of other reviews. This is usually indicative of friends of the business owner trying to help out the business. However, in my experience with bringing my beloved lowered G35 there, I'd have no trouble recommending other friends and family to come in and let Mike do his magic. read more

I've gone to him 3 times in the past 2 months because of susp. work done to my cars and each time I am thoroughly satisfied. Soft-soften, meticulous, and highly experienced, alignments are all this man does and it is clear he has a passion for it. Everything from Ferrari's to 17 passenger vans, he's done it and done it with precision. I've seen a lot of shops not even bother matching up both sides--as long the values fall into spec, they leave it. Mike goes the extra mile and seeks the perfection that keeps enthusiasts like myself coming back. Want another example? I've never seen other shops bother to bring the tire pressure into spec before aligning. As minor of a difference it makes, it still has an effect and Mike clearly acknowledges that. You can usually find him sharing shop space (the alignment rack) with an auto shop in the plaza. Not having to take on the burden of a whole shop, he passes on the savings to the customer. Michael is the man! I've had my truck to a few places and no one could get the alignment right on it. My truck has had quite a bit of modification done to it and Michael wasn't phased, he did his magic and my truck drives down the road like it should. I was able to make a same day appointment for an alignment and arrived 15 minutes early, they took my car back as soon as I got there and I was out the door in 30-45 minutes! They also pointed out an oil leak to me, which being a woman I thought' "Oh, here we go! They're going try and take advantage." No longer part of Cosmic Automotive, came here from a recommendation due to the great pricing and apparent great service. Mike is the person who services everyone's car and everyone else is on point. Very soft spoken and extremely attentive to details. I got serviced twice last year from him, once for an annual alignment and another time because I got into a minor accident. The second time, he wouldn't service my car because I was in dire need of a tire change. My warped tire would have eventually change the steering of my car and would require another alignment. The price last year, 2015, was a flat rate of $60. Recently Mike had to hike the price up to $69.95 which has been on par with several other alignment service shops.
