I had a nail removed from my tire of BMW M4 Comp at this shop. The price was reasonable, but I'm disappointed to discover significant scratches on the inside of the rim after the tire was dismounted and rebalanced. These rims are very expensive (approximately $2,000 each), and I ask them to be careful for this reason but the scratches were caused by carelessness during the weight removal process. It appears a screwdriver or similar tool was used improperly, causing deep gouges that a simple touch-up can't fix. Furthermore, the new weight is missing, leaving me questioning whether the tire was even rebalanced properly. Mistakes happen but this is unacceptable. Not only did they damage my expensive rims, but they also failed to inform me about it. This lack of transparency is dishonest and unprofessional. Would not recommend. read more

I showed up and I guess all the staff went on brake they saw me but no one bothered to let me know what was going on simple heads up to tell me they'll be back soon or something would've been nice. They gave me a great deal. I came in two guys started working on the car and got me out in five minutes. The gentleman's that helped me with my vehicle were professionals. I was going to take the tire out from my back, but they insisted they do it. I was gonna put my spare back into the trunk, but they insisted to do it. Was charged $20 for the fix (was under the assumption that it would be $15 as per some reviews here) and the service was very fast once I got my turn. There were couple of cars ahead and I had to wait around 20mins for my turn. Yes, America's Tire fixes flat tires for free but you'd have to wait at-least a day to get an appointment if not few hours. read more

Not sure who is the owner here but Ali, the service man in the front always at the counter and "chapo, on tires are always super professional, SPEEDY, and straight to the point. This is the worst tire shop I've been to. Lying robbers who don't know how to give customer service. I called and asked if he had a used tire for my car and he responded by saying yes and gave me the price for it. I told him I'll be there in 15 minutes and he agreed to it. When I arrived he said that he and his crew will go on a 35 minutes lunch break. So why didn't he tell me before I came there so that I didn't have to wait? He knew what time I would arrive. After 35/40 minutes, when he was done with lunch, the tire technician said he didn't have the tire I needed for my car, even though I gave them my tire information when I called them. The front desk guy went back again and found a used tire that had no thread left and wanted to sell me for $45. I said that it was insulting for him to give that kind of a bad tire for that price. I said let's do 40 and finish the job (since I was in a rush). He didn't accept it even after all the major mistakes he made. These charlatans are the disease in our community. What made me sad is that they're probably Muslim since the front desk had Islamic symbols, even though they acted exactly as the opposite of a Muslim. I should know, since I've studied Islam for decades under scholars. Using the symbols of truth as a manipulative tactic to lure in customers and then mistreating seems like a bad thing to do when you will be questioned on the Day of Judgement. read more

I had an emergency flat tire and called to see if they were available to repair it on Sunday. The man I spoke to named Ali, assured me they were open and able. I showed up within 10 minutes of the call and he said, they were going to lunch and wouldn't be able to take my car until they got back. I asked why he didn't say such on the phone a moment ago, Ali said "you didn't ask." He took my keys and did no paperwork, I called an hour later and picked up the car. Assured that the tire was removed inspected and inflated with no damage to report. I tipped Ali $10 for his trouble and returned to visiting my family with my car. A few hours later I returned to my parked car and replaced the flat tire with my spare tire and saw a huge screw in my tire. Ali was rude, lied, and put my family in danger I would strongly encourage all to stay FAR away from this business and for someone to hold Ali accountable to his poor and dangerous service. read more

Went here for them to repair a screw in my tire and they were absolutely rude-- Ali and the mechanic. I would give 0/5 if possible. After going to America's Tires down the block as I was suspicious of there work, I found that the job they did was awful (e.g., overly inflated tire (56 PSI warm), leaking tire from a previous jobs they did, etc.) and the quote Ali gave me for a new tire replacement was nearly $100 more than what America's tires quoted me for the same exact tire (Goodyear F1s). Avoid this place entirely if you care about your car, wish to be treated like a customer and not a burden, and don't want to pay unreasonable prices. read more

We came across this place and since it was the morning too, we didn't have to wait long. The owner / manager was professional and honest. This place is great! I came home from work to discover not one but TWO nails in my tire. My fiancé had been to this place before and it's nearby so we called and they said they could fix it asap. The location is right on Fremont blvd which is easy to find. I pulled up and they were rotating about 6 different people but the whole thing only took about 40min but I think it would have been quicker but it was end of day. The two guys that work here were very hard workers, quick and friendly. What more could you ask for? My only complaint, and it is very small compared to my overall experience, is that their parking lot is Filled with trash. I am sure it is the location and pedestrians but as a local business it would be nice to see them pick up the trash. I hate wasting time at those big box tire stores. Costco..Big O..etc. You have to set aside a whole day to get tires at these places. How is it possible when they have multiple bays and staff!?! YOU KNOW THAT'S TRUE! Those joints also give you the fix it for free deal too...but even if you have a nail in the tire, guess what? Set aside another day. These guys are quick and friendly. Two bays and 3-4 guys working. Must have bought 3 sets of tires and had two repairs (nails) over the years. Every time I was in-and-out like the hamburger. They also give you future tire rotation, no appt necessary. If you have a bigger tire (18+) you should call ahead with your specs and ask what they have or they can order and install same day. And if you want a specific brand, definitely call ahead. Small shop, not a lot of storage. If you want to drop off your car and shop free samples in the snack section or watch TV and get a free crappy coffee while you wait, this is not the place for you. If you want fast service, no-nonsense and a fair price, give them a try! read more

I had tire problems this weekend and a Chevron employee referred me to Universal Tires when Wheel Works couldn't help me due to being busy and understaffed. She recommended this place because the staff is friendly and prices are cheaper in comparison to Wheel Works. Turns out I had a piece of metal in my back left tire which was successfully removed. I interacted with both Jesus and Ali who were kind and professional. I only paid $15 which was a fair price. The only downside was that the tire pressure light didn't go off after they removed the metal. As a result I had to take my car to Toyota 101 in Redwood City and the guy fixed the problem in 2 mins. Not entirely the Universal Tires employees' fault but was just frustrating for me that my problem persisted. Regardless, I would definitely come back as I like to support local businesses with fair prices and friendly employees! read more

I've been coming here for a long time guys always cool we never had a problem I guess that's why he was always cool have you ever had a problem with these people if you do they won't admit they're wrong tried to say the impact driver for the lug nuts only goes to 130 Ft lbs all technicians now they are way higher torque then 130ft lbs more like 300-500 ft lbs anyways couldn't get my lug nuts off came to him for help he told me I had to wait I told him I wasn't waiting and that all he needed to do was break em loose he didn't work with me and all and instantly told me that I had to leave smh trust me there's better tire places read more

I was searching for tires on a used vehicle I just purchased and needed (2) 305/40/R22 tires so I thought. After getting prices for (4) running close to $900-1000 for the set out the door I drove by this place. I needed a better price so I thought I found a place that could get me into really good tires for $700 come to find out it was for (2) tires! They gave me a price that was close to $900 for all 4 locally in Fremont. I almost spent the money but they did not have the tires in stock and closed on Sundays so I would have to wait until Monday. Another place in Santa Clara quoted me close to $1,000. I am planning to buy new rims in about 6 months so I don't need anything spectacular for the rims that are on them now so low end would be fine. As I drove by Tire & Wheel Depot I jotted the number down on a Friday afternoon called them but they were already closed for the day unfortunately. Saturday morning I spoke to Mohammad and he set me up keeping my cost down for (2) tires with wheel locks and balancing of all (4) tires for $350.00. Come to find out I need another tire so I have to go back today since metal was starting to come out of the inner side wall on that 3rd tire. Heading there now to get that tire put on. The service was fast they even took the old locks off the truck rims since I did not have the lock key which was not in the vehicle when I bought it. After speaking to the team they have locations in Sacramento and Sunnyvale as well. I am a loyal customer and hoping they can purchase the rims I want in a few months since they are very expensive! I will be back with any of my vehicles that have tire needs in the future and send people I know there. read more

They have an assortment of tires in stock, versus the other shops said I'd have to wait for a shipment to be delivered. He was honest with me about only needing one tire changed, which I appreciated.
