Pretty decent, especially for hospital food where they have a captive audience. Most of the time my experience has been that these places with captive audiences tend to slack on the food, but that was not the case here. I got the Gyros plate and it was tasty and the vegetables it came with were fresh and crisp and the tzatziki sauce was delicious. They staff was friendly and fast. It was busy and at lunch time but they handled the crowd well. The ambiance was nice and it was easy to almost forget you were eating in a hospital. read more

I love the food here. The breakfast tacos are delicious, the avocado chicken wrap as mentioned frequently is amazing, and the lunch salads if you get there in time for them are also delicious and fresh. The family who own and operate are the sweetest! I work here so I'm part of the captive audience but I'm here for it! If you are in the area and need a good meal, make the walk over to Perot building and take a break from chain sandwich shops and cafeteria food. read more

I work at the hospital, and this place is truly a hidden gem that I wish the public had more access to! It's family-run, and they make all of their food fresh. Portion sizes are also generous. There has not been a single thing on the menu (drink or food) that I did not enjoy. My favorite menu item is the hummus and pita--it's house-made, really fresh hummus, unlike any other hummus I've had. It's very light and smooth, and I often buy an entire tub to take home and eat with carrots/crackers in the following days. I also like the chicken caesar salad, French garden salad (chicken, avocado, mixed greens, house dressing), chicken avocado wrap, and pasta salads. I wish I were more of a breakfast person because their breakfast tacos, omelettes, and croissant sandwiches are also amazing. Finally, they're able to make pretty much any coffee/tea drink you can think of, and they are willing to try out new combinations to your liking! read more

Lovely mom and pop establishment. I've dined here on several occasions for lunch/ breakfast as I'm running to doctor appointments and I have enjoyed everything I've had. Their breakfast sandwiches are huge and tasty! For lunch they have lots of salads freshly made (fruit, broccoli, pasta, etc), taco salads, gyros and sandwiches. The owners are really nice, and care about their patrons. They have Starbucks coffee and a lot of drinks/snack options for a small place. Service is fast! Normally food at a hospital is pretty crap because they know you're desperate/tired and just need to eat. If you're at Presby Dallas, skip Subway and ChikFila and come here. read more

What a welcome option rare in "hospital dining"! Really good food made by nice people and served to order. My co-worker and I were waiting and delayed on our task and she led me to French Garden Cafe. We wanted a light lunch and we shared hummus and pita, and each of us enjoyed a fresh salad. The hummus was perfection. So smooth, savory and wonderful with the fresh pita. My broccoli salad was wonderful and very crisp and fresh. The service is great, the folks who run it are delightful and our experience was great. They have sandwiches, sides, drinks, coffee and desserts. NEVER will I eat at the cafeteria after this. I cannot rave about this place enough! If you or your loved one has just had a baby and you haven't slept in ages, there will be nothing and I mean NOTHING more delicious than their breakfast croissant sandwich and it is a smokin' deal! Good on them for having yummy lattes too! It's definitely on the order of mall coffee (like if they have a Peets Branch in the mall or airport), a step or two below eBar. However, it is much better than us mere mortals would settle for for hospital coffee. I truly love this place and think it's a hidden gem, worth the walk if you're holed up in a different part of the complex. read more

This is a hidden gem but so glad the nurses told us about it. Everything we have ordered (son has been inpatient for 45 days) has been great! My very favorites marked with an asterisk. *Breakfast taco, *spinach and bacon quiche, crispy bacon, Ceasar salad, chicken avocado wrap, *BLT, *Cream of Potato soup (my son's favorite), Chicken Marsala, *Chicken Quesadillas, *Chicken Enchilada Casserole with an incredible poblano pepper creamy sauce. I recently started working directly across from this little gem of a cafe. It's located inside Presby Dallas, in the Margot Perot building. First floor, right by the weird sculpture thing. Now, I'm not thinking that you'd come to a hospital/professional building to eat lunch, but if you're here, and if you're hungry- STOP AND EAT! The folks that own it are seriously some of the nicest people on the planet. And the food is delicious. They have typical sandwich offerings (I almost always get the ham and swiss sandwich on a croissant- it's all warm and tasty), burgers, specials, and a really cool selection of cold salads: pasta salads, green salads, fruit salad, etc. Everything is obviously fresh, and as a result, they do occasionally run out of certain salads before the end of business (especially fruit, because they chop it up fresh every day). My food has never once been wrong (I order breakfast with no cheese and lunch with no mayo). Oh yeah. They have breakfast, too! They're open 7a-7p M-F, 8a-3p on Saturday, and closed on Sundays. Their breakfast tacos are ridiculously good, as are their egg sandwiches (again, croissants! MMMM) In the afternoon, they bake up some chocolate chip cookies fresh and you can't beat $1 for super fresh out of the oven chocolate chip deliciousness. So if you're here, stop by and say hi to these wonderful folks. They see me a LOT.
