Lunch here was just what we wanted. My husband and I ordered two sandwiches and we each had half of the 'chicken' salad sandwich and half of the grilled 'corned beef' sandwich. We liked both. The corned beef got a little soggy but still good. We waited outside on a bench and got served within 10 minutes or so. Very pleasant!

Frenchtown Fresh is one of my regular spots to get a yummy vegan meal for dinner. I usually get the reuben and it is the best one I have ever had. Sometimes I top it off with a fresh pressed juice. I always check the cooler for some fresh and healthy vegan grocery items. The food is amazing and the people are even better!

Love any place that lets you color while waiting for your food. They have a cooler of things to grab while you wait or for takeout. Half of the menu was pierogies and finding vegan options was a huge plus. The loaded pierogies were arguably better than the buffalo option. I'm partial because I am not a fan of buffalo sauce. The only con was the utensils were impossible to use. They kept on breaking and could not cut anything. Wish they had reusable options that were a little more sturdy. Also got the Mac salad and it was great. Not too much mayo or anything at all.

It seems there has been a few misses here in the past but overall, it's a top vegan spot. There are places near me that offer a vegan gobbler too but I don't always notice. Community and pretty Internet pictures help a lot. Reading some of the owner's struggles and seeing her in full force now is very inspiring. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to have some quality vegan food and to be able to support such strength without it feeling forced or unnatural for me. What could be "better"? A bigger place, more parking would be nice, more specific dates on when something is offered rather than me having to know the vibe that specials are likely Mon- Sat and Sun is likely no specials unless they happen to have that special leftover. VegOut should consider TooGoodToGo too.

The food was delicious! They serve vegetarian and vegan food. Flavor bombs throughout all of the shared plates we ordered. It's hard to pick a favorite between the peach salad, falafel, pizza and corn. Lots of free parking and they have a very cool event schedule. They have an amazing outdoor space that is perfect on a nice day. Lots of room for kids to play and they even had a ping pong table! Something to note is that I didn't realize this was not part of the New Hope/Lambertville part of town. It was about 20 minutes further out towards Point Pleasant where many go tubing! The restaurant, bar and outdoor are accessible to all, but if you have a problem with stairs, that is the only way to get to the upstairs space. I do have one suggestion. There were no vegan/vegetarian protein sources. Seitan, tofu and soya would be great additions and helpful to those looking for a higher protein option like me. Definitely a unique spot to check out if you get the chance. I hope to return again for some of their other cool events!

Abby Hoffman of Yippie fame was an organizer, frequently hanging out here and speaking his form of political enlightenment. That was then. Now, little has changed in the early 18th Century riverside village far north of New Hope and Lumberville that feels like Middle Earth from Lord of the Rings. The bar is still in the basement. The backyard is still a peaceful glade for sipping cocktails or beer and listening to guitar or banjo chords and softly harmonic voices. Their website calls those days, "a simpler time," but I disagree. In fact, those days were complicated times as the community attempted to decide the future of Bucks and the ageless value of the natural flow of water. Demonstrations up and down the pristine Delaware were loud and at times destructive. Even back to Revolutionary times, the local patriots challenged the powers that be by word and deed, while others were loyal to the crown and spied on the rest or thieved horses to sell to the British. No. Those were the "times that tried men's souls." Hardly, simple. Nonetheless, the current incarnation of this tavern does possess the spiritual focus of Jack Kerouac, the author of Dharma Bums, On the Road and other highly influential books in my life. For that, I am grateful. My visit last weekend had me wondering why I hadn't been back in decades. The soulfulness mixed so well with local history, and but for the narrow paved roads and power lines, it could just as easily have been 1776 as 2026. The perfect place to celebrate and reflect on the 250th Anniversary of this inspirational country. Last night, the cocktails were well stirred and shaken. My Tamarind Margarita (without salt) was crisp with a pleasant tart kick. The Elote Corn Bite delicious and satisfying. The companionship of a dear friend, heartwarming. The live soundtrack from the local musicians, very well strung and sung. This may well become the best experience of 2026. Five Magical Stars for the perfect place to celebrate and contemplate America's 250th.

The exception is Grounded for Life, which offers delicious breakfast and lunch options that are thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and satisfying. Their extensive, all vegan menu offers breakfast options such as bagel sandwiches, burritos, toasts, and more, and even their coffee is surprisingly good! I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. So we drove there but were not sure it was open. It was. Just dark. And some things on the menu were not available. But everyone was super nice and they brought us a menu that had what they offer in a blackout. With the flashlights we looked over the menu. They had probably about 8 customers not including the 2 of us. So they were trying to accommodate. I got the watermelon tomato gazpacho and the chick pea caesar salad. Both were very good. On the gazpacho I wish there was a bit more watermelon flavor and chunks. The salad was good. Very hearty. My friend got the mushroom po boy. She liked it as well. The server was very nice and attentive. The lights eventually came back on about 3/4 the way through our meal. So now we could see. The place is cute and the fans were welcome on a humid evening. You have to pay to park. And the restaurant is all the way down on the right. The area is very cute and kinda touristy. The only down side besides paying to park are the prices. Just because it's vegan doesn't mean it's cheap. It's not. Prices are higher. Just for my soup and salad my dinner was $28. I guess that could be standard but I got soup and a salad. But it was good. I would go back, just not often. Overall good experience in a challenging evening with the blackout.

The customer service is a time capsule of an era where a business strived to make your visit special and memorable with quality food and great service and not by some trend or gimmick. One thing that is not in the past is their skilled ability to provide a safe meal for those who are vegan, gluten free and or dairy free. I've never been to a restaurant that can turnout amazing authentic Italian food made with regular flour while also being able to provide a safe gluten free and or dairy free alternative of the same caliber. They have an efficient system that makes it clear there are people with dietary restrictions at the table and they take it very seriously. With all those great things to say, the food is what is worth writing home about. A gluten free chicken Parmesan that no one would ever guess was gf! A delicious gf df chocolate lava cake to end the meal was such a treat and was delicious. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and attentive, they're a well oiled machine! The way they show pictures of "today's specials" on an iPad type device is a nice touch. The meatball app had good flavor as well as the ricotta that came with it. The fiancé had the pear purse which is always a very good. Also the Eggplant Pisa salad that came with my lunch paring was very very good and I would eat it again!!! The bad. The meatball app, although tasty, was only two small meatballs (basically the size of a soup spoon!!) for 15 bucks. So I don't care for the cost compared to the value you get for it. Also I am a snob for chicken parm and this chicken was overcooked and dry. The bread crumbs were soggy and would have been forgiven if the chicken itself wasn't so overcooked and dry!!!! My over all is this. Been to mamas many times before this review and I think they are worth your time (even more so during dinner time!). They do more things right than they ever do it wrong. My husband and I shared the 'Loaded Nachos' which was House-Made Tortilla Chips, Pico de Gallo, Avocado, Black Beans, Cashew Queso, Salsa Verde & Sour Cream Drizzle. Again, this was very flavorful and a really good portion size. For the entrees, my husband got the 'Piergios' which was Locally Made Potato Pierogi Sautéed with Caramelized Onions, Served with Applesauce and Sour Cream. As a guy who was scared of Vegan food, he really enjoyed these. The entree was $24 which he thought was a high price for the size of the entree but he liked the taste. I got the 'Truffle Topped Mushroom Risotto' which was a Chunky Mushroom Medley, Carnaroli Rice, Shaved Truffle.
