We got the wild mushrooms, pancetta cream sauce. The sauce is where the magic happens. You can easily dip an entire loaf of bread with that addicting sauce. The meatball is full of flavors. They menu says they limit 25 orders a day. I guess we were lucky! We also got the Fried Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms. I have been wanting to try this dish. I remember my old Italian neighbor used to ask my mom for the blossoms each year. Not my favorite but it was okay. For the star of the night, we got the New Yorker pizza (gold medal winner Las Vegas) with sliced mozzarella, hand crushed tomato sauce, cup & char pepperoni, sliced sweet 7 spicy Italian sausage, ricotta, chopped garlic & oregano. The crust is perfect. You know it's legit when sauce is dripping out from the corner of your mouth when you take a bite and the cheese is still pulling away. I love it that the slices are cut big so you can fold it in half. IYKYK. I see what the hype is about! We sat outside to reduce the wait time. I walked into Modena Pizza expecting just a standard slice, but the crust was the absolute star, perfect crispness and flavor. What surprised me even more was how much else they have going on. I decided to mix it up and tried a cheeseburger and some of their chicken nuggets alongside my slice, and everything was piping hot and fresh. Topped it all off with a crisp side salad to balance out the comfort food. The guys working behind the counter were super kind and made sure everything was on point. They also have pie sizes (18" & 20") on their gig menus that aren't even an option to order at their own site. Why? The largest size you can order directly from them is 16". Their GrubHub menu is so confusing because the pricing is completely random, which doesn't make consumers feel good and it doesn't respect our dollar. How on earth is an 18" Margherita $47.21 but a 20" Hawaiian is $46.51?? How can you pie if you can't even pi?

I saw Arrabiata, Bolognese and Spaghetti and Meatballs. Ordered it last night to go when other plans went south. The Bolognese had a lot of garlic which we REALLY loved. Will definitely be trying others.
