New pizza spot on O'Farrell! I didn't catch which days they're open, but they said their hours are from 12pm-3am. And with the Nite Cap nearby, I assume their customer base is going to come from that bar as well as the locals around the block. I had two friends texting me about pizza, so I ended up craving a slice. I took this as an opportunity to try Yummy Pizza, which used to be Nico's. They only had a few slices of cheese and pepperoni, but it was 3pm, so the lunch rush was over and it's too early for dinner. I ordered a slice of pepperoni, which came out to $5, but they said I get a $1 off. They were also kind enough to give me ranch on the side. I think they said it was house made. I thought it was good. The pizza was also pretty good, and not greasy. I'm all about the crust, and this crust was thin, with still some chewiness to it. It satisfied my craving, so no complaints from me. They don't have any pamphlets that show their menu, or a website. But it says they also do salads, sandwiches, and wings. They have the same set up as Nico's, though I'm not sure if you can dine at the counter space inside. There is counter space outside. It's pretty small in there. I think they're worth a try if you're craving pizza!

A good sandwich, French fries, just the way I like them. Perhaps the bread could be toasted, just a thought.

I was looking forward to try this spot for a while since it's in my neighborhood & i was always curious on what would come next to the spot. I feel like it was a bit overpriced for what it was. i paid $29 for the small pizza and the garlic bread. I did enjoy the pizza more and i would go back again, if i were craving pizza. since it is a local, i will be going back to support.

But when you want a sandwich that only tastes like its ingredients, Irving Subs is the spot. Their Dutch crunch is famous for being fresh and actually crunchy. Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned. You're not getting skimped, but you're also not biting into a mouthful of a packet of deli meat. They definitely know what they are doing. Service is good and ambiance is a small humble shop on the corner of 12th Ave.

Double pastrami, horseradish, havarti, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and pepperoncini. A lot going on, and it all came together. The horseradish and havarti gave it enough personality to stand apart from a standard pastrami sandwich, and the garlicky mayo tied everything together. The one casualty of DoorDash was sogginess by the time it arrived. That's not a knock on the sandwich, it's just the reality of ordering something like this for delivery. At $14.50 it's a hearty sandwich at a fair price. I'd recommend it, but eat in.

This is a cute corner shop in sunny Mission, and it's very clean and organized inside. I was the only person there when I went early Saturday morning (although I imagine it might be busier now) and I ordered the lady Gianna, which took around 10 minutes to make. The result was a delicious juicy eggplant Parm like sandwich with a nice kick as well. The fresh basil really came through. The Portobello sandwich was also a standout. Overall, the focaccia bread has a perfect fluffiness and crunch on outside and the ingredients feel fresh. Would love to come back and keep supporting this little shop!

Most of us got the "Call Me Serge" which included roasted turkey, bacon, cheddar + Gouda, arugula, and a Calabrian chili orange jam, rosemary ranch, and creamy avocado-lime vinaigrette spread. It was warm and delicious! I think I would've left the arugula off next time as it tasted strong with the jam (but that's me with a sensitivity to arugula). I will definitely return to try something different to bring to my next Dolores picnic!
