    #4 on an everything bagel
    Meg R.

This place has earned its stars! Upon coming in to the shop I was greeted by a very friendly man who took my order. I got the #4 Turkey sandwich on an everything bagel and a fresh squeezed OJ. Food came out hot, fresh, and quickly. Love the turkey and cheese- generous portions. The bagel was DELICIOUS- perfect chew, and I know bagels having lived in NYC. Only suggestion I would add is to add a ton more everything seasoning- I like my bagel drowning in onion and garlic! But everything was a 10/10- I can't wait to try their other bagel sandwiches and even their Vietnamese coffee! The best part of the entire experience for me was the friendly customer service- this made my day and guaranteed that I will be a repeat customer here!

The other day I was heading towards Garden Grove and I wanted to have a quick breakfast bagel. Normally I would Yelp it and research it, but since I was driving, I just googled bagels and Blue Mountain Bagels came up so I went. What was surprising was their banner said, Grand Opening Dec 29, 2025 and the store sign was Fresh Bagels and Cafe, so I was a bit confused. Well, it was bagels I was looking for so I gave them a try. Upon going in, the place felt brand new, the smell of fresh bagels, and a very eager and helpful staff. I got the spinach and Parmesan bagel, jalapeño Cheese and a plain cheese bagel and of course some cream cheese to go with my bagels. The place is very nice and spacious and next time I'm in the area, I might have to eat in. As for the name, apparently the Blue Mountain Bagels permanently closed and Fresh Bagels and Cafe opened here. Now they have a location in Buena Park, but I'm not sure if that's still open or not, however their Yelp page is still here. So hoping they create a new one for this GG location or update it.

Super friendly and fast service. We ordered two lox bagels and two breakfast bagels, and everything was fresh and delicious. They even gave us a free muffin, which was such a nice touch. Definitely coming back!

Such a friendly little spot with really good food! I had the lox bagel and it was fresh, flavorful, and loaded with lox. My wife had the breakfast bagel and loved hers too. The bagels were delicious and the portions were great. Definitely a place we'd come back to!

    Orange and carrot juice

I came early in the morning and the sweetest woman was behind the counter, she was very helpful in suggesting the carrot and orange juice blend, absolutely f***ing delicious. Will come back just for that. The bagel was incredible. Extremely filling and fresh and crispy. Also came with a pickle which was a nice surprise. No notes.

Randomly found this spot and it's a hidden gem! Super sweet owners and quick service. My croissant sandwich was bigger than most places i've been too and the bagel was fresh while also being really yummy. Will definitely come back to try their lox city bagel & cinnamon sugar bagel!

Amazing, the cream cheese has unbelievable flavor! I tried the onion & chive and woah, so much flavor. The honey walnut was unreal almost tasted like a spiced horchata drink but in a spread form. Great customer service as well. Will definitely come back

There is something special about a family-owned business that just gets it right from day one. We visited this new bagel shop recently and were immediately struck by the atmosphere--it's bright, inviting, and humming with the kind of energy only a passionate staff can provide. I dove into the Bagel Lox City, a masterpiece of vibrant, silky smoked salmon and crisp toppings on a toasted-to-perfection bagel. The cream cheese is in a league of its own; it's rich, velvety, and earned the title of "best ever" from my partner. Beyond the bagels, their smoothie was the perfect refreshing balance, and their coffee choices are extensive enough to satisfy even the pickiest brew enthusiast. From the attentive service to the sincere smiles, this place feels like a labor of love. Make sure to stop by and give them a warm welcome to the neighborhood!

Saw this and was craving for some bagel the last couple day. Plenty parking since the plaza has big parking lot. They do have inside and outside (w/umbrellas) seating areas. Very new updated (from last owner) decor, bright and clean with great smell of coffee brews & baked goods upon walking in. Light music as background. Not much but plenty of bagel choices to choose from, they do have croissants & muffins as well. The bagels are smaller then other places I been too but don't be fooled, cause quality comes with different sizes. I got cheese jalapeño (they don't have cheesy jalapeño) double toasted with cream cheese (my to go for comfort bagel) and as special promotion, a small coffee comes with it (sweet). Easy order and nice timely turnaround. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful. As for the bagel, personally I didn't like the look since it just looks like feels sprinkled of cheese and hardy see jalapeño...but they chopped they jalapeños and mixed with the dough (perfectly mixed/combined) - as for the cheese, well you see is what you get (pov) which is not much of cheese. Generous amount of cream cheese so nice...1st bite was hot creamy, soft inside but crunchy outside perfectly mixed dough - the Jalapeño didn't kicked in til a min later but you can feel it. I'm Asian so I like spicy ALOT. It was delicious and well balanced with spread. I really enjoyed it a lot. Will definitely comeback and try other bagel sandwiches for sure. Yum!

The tables and chairs are fairly old and well used. Our server had little to no words for us, which was fine. She gave us a kind look. We had ordered a breakfast burritos, eggs, bacon, coffees all around, and an omelette. The food came out a few minutes later. Very quick, but hot and crisp. I wasn't a fan of my latte and their house coffee was a bit watery. I did enjoy my breakfast burrito and bacon. My dad enjoyed his breakfast platter, too. My fiancé's omelette was okay and wasn't fantastic. We finished our meal rather quickly and left. It's nice to have a local breakfast restaurant that has been well loved by the neighboring residents. Definitely will be back again.
