Love you so much! Great food, service, and ambiance. This place just never misses! I love avocado & sun dried tomatoes so this place definitely has my heart. Will be back again and again

I stopped here for lunch. I got the avocado melt, which came with lots of fresh veggies on a perfectly pressed panini. My dining companion got the lobster roll. I had been eyeing that was well, but they said it's only a percentage of lobster and mixed with fish. She enjoyed it, but compared it to a tuna sandwich. Service is friendly and quick. The place is small, but cozy and clean with a patio. A good lunch option.

This place is simply okay. It was quick and relatively cheap -- and they have a nice outdoor seating area. I definitely wouldn't rave about the food or anything, but it is hard to go wrong with a toasted chicken sandwich smothered in cheese with a pickle on top. The chips were probably just out of some bag, but they weren't bad either. Obviously nothing crazy. This place also has a fairly large menu so it's safe to assume that there is probably something for everyone here, so that's a positive.

I saw that they had Affogatos on the menu and had to stop in! It was delicious, several Gelato flavors to choose from. I was checking out the rest of the menu while waiting and I regret that I had already eaten lunch! They had a huge variety of delicious looking food. Very nice service, cute little place!

A friend and I stopped into this place to enjoy an informal dinner at a place that had outdoor tables in the shade (at the time of day we visited). The menu is large with a wide variety of items from burgers and sandwiches, to pasta, pizza, salads, and wraps with Mediterranean flair, so there's something for everyone here, even a kids menu. Order at the counter, seat yourself, your food will be brought to you. We were there on a Friday night in July around 730pm and it was not busy at all on a (HOT) summer evening. I ordered the gyro and it was delicious, especially the bread - I cant describe it but it was slightly sweet, soft and spongy, maybe like Olga's bread?! My friend ordered the chick pea salad which was very colorful and had lovely presentation. The side of pita served with hummus is a different pita bread than the wrap, it was still very good - the bread came out hot and fresh. The gal at the counter was very friendly and gave us honest feedback about the menu. They also have a full espresso bar and gelato. I'm always a little disappointed when I dine in somwehere and a restaurant uses disposable serviceware, as was the case here.

Food is tasteless. We all ordered different dishes and each one tasted like it was microwaved. Go elsewhere.

With few lunch options, we decided to give The Butler a try and Wow! Best decision we made all day. The service was great - friendly and attentive. And the food was outstanding. My friend loved hers - a patty melt burger, which she had served on a brioche bun instead of the standard rye bread. She shared a sample of her burger with me and it was very good. I can imagine if the burger were cooked to medium or medium rare instead of the well done my friend ordered, I too would have called it delicious! I ordered the Mac and Cheese with brisket and candied jalapeños and - what can I say? It was really one of the best things I have ever eaten. The combination of flavors was wonderful and the added crisp of the not-very-hot jalapeños added a tasty texture. Do yourself a favor and go to The Butler and order this. Trust me. I will be back to the restaurant and will probably order Exactly the same dish! Wonderful.

Walking in we were immediately redirected because we didn't notice the please wait to be seated sign that was outside of the door. It would be nice if the sign had been a little more visible or if we had been redirected more kindly. We were sat immediately and even though I tend to hate high tops, the chairs were sturdy and comfortable. Between myself and my friends we ordered the grilled ham and cheese, the nutty salad, and the burger (with cheddar, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup, and mustard). We all loved our food and it came out quickly. I ordered my burger medium-well and it was cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive and made sure to refill our water frequently. At the end of our meal they gave us little cups of animal crackers, which was just the cutest touch! Overall loved and would totally return and recommend.

We grabbed seats at the bar, and the place was full of locals which honestly tells you everything you need to know right there. And not just full... but full of the nicest people. The kind of place where you feel like you belong within five minutes. Now let's talk about Jimmy... WOW. Absolute rockstar behind the bar. Not only was he making amazing drinks, but he was also doing his best to convince us to ditch our dinner reservations and stay honestly, he almost had us The drinks were so good we ended up coming back later that night for dessert... because clearly we weren't done yet. But here's the part that got me I casually mentioned it was my birthday weekend, nothing big... and the NEXT DAY while we were walking around downtown, we look up and there's my name on the marquee wishing me a happy birthday. Like... who does that?! That kind of thoughtfulness is just next level and completely made my day. Phil's isn't just a bar--it's a whole experience. Every time we walked by, it was packed, and after being there... I get it. They're doing a lot right. If you're anywhere near Saugatuck--GO. Sit at the bar, order a drink, and just enjoy it. You'll probably end up staying longer than you planned too

Incredible food that I'm Gibbs dream about for a few more nights yet. I had the walleye, my fiancée had the pot pie (called something else on the menu; I forget exactly what). I came even describe the flavors (except to say the horseradish mixed in the potato top of the pot pie is inspired!) I will just say that each bite hit the sweet, savory, and salty notes just right all at the same time. Can't forget to mention: the service was lovely. Our server was very kind, personable, and relaxed, and she offered us great recommendations, and boy am I glad I listened. I can't recommend this place enough. We rave about this place to all of our friends every year because the food is superb and the service has always been excellent. Unfortunately, today's breakfast experience completely tarnished that reputation. We were so excited to be back and ordered a full breakfast, totaling over $75. I ordered the Penny Royale Breakfast, but when I tried the sausage, it just wasn't to my taste. I politely asked our waitress if I could swap the sausage for bacon instead. To my absolute shock, her immediate response was a flat "No!" She informed me that she would not swap it because "everyone likes our sausage here" and insisted it was just a "preference thing" because they use high-quality goods. She refused to take the sausage back or accommodate the swap, stating she could only put in a separate order for a side of bacon that we would have to pay extra for. In all my years of dining out, I have never experienced such rigid, dismissive customer service. For a restaurant we love so much, it was incredibly disheartening that the staff wouldn't accommodate a simple request to keep a loyal customer happy over a piece of breakfast meat. We ultimately chose not to press the issue further because we didn't want to completely ruin what had been a peaceful morning, but the interaction left a terrible taste in our mouths. We always tip generously in cash, but today we intentionally left a minimal tip of $2 on the credit card to reflect the pathetic service. It is incredibly disappointing when a place with so many things going for them forgets that hospitality and accommodating guests with such a small request is just so important Later the same day after posting my message above on Yelp the manager responds as you can see below. In response I'd just like to say that there is no need to justify poor customer service. And a customer should not feel bad for not liking something. We are all paying customers and we should pay for the things that we like and not pay for the things that we don't like simple and easy. I just hope you do better for your customers in the future.
