This is a LOCAL place you should order from over any other place now! You'll be glad you did! Food is priced well, always fresh and Service includes delivery and friendly staff is consistent. Ambiance is cozy and clean that will always meet your expectations.

Burnt cheese bread with no flavor, little cheese and canned sauce.

Very fast delivery and cheap, but it goes way downhill from there. The wings were so wet and soggy and the Bleu cheese was a small salad dressing packet that they put in with the wings, so it wasn't enough and it was hot. The cheese bread was burned bread with a small amount of cheese in the middle. No flavor with canned sauce for dipping. The cheese pizza had no flavor at all. How does a place like this stay open in this area? Don't waste your money!

3.5 star. Such a good pizza place. I picked up hot pizza last night. It was pretty good for me. Some point is good and some point was little bad. Pro : Good price point. I paid $10.75 include tax. Medium size pizza and bread stick. It's fully enough for one or two persons. Pizza dough was very soft and good. When I ordered it, they made fresh pizza. Con : It was too thick pizza for me. I felt it was too oilly. Cheese make those oil, and I did not finished a pizza at all.

    I love the wings!!!

That being said, thought I give them another chance given all the slice places within a few blocks in this section of Morningside Heights. While a reasonably priced basic cheese slice, but not the cheapest, don't be fooled by their pizza's appearance. Although the crust was OK, the excess grease that slid off of my pizza was: 1) something no one should ingest and 2) required a bib to avoid staining clothes. Maybe Famiglia's "famous" recipe is for clientele are out-of-towners (and a few local bozos) who eat their slice with a knife and fork! My reco - If you're hungry for a classic New York slice and want the real local thing, go to "old school" Koronet immediately across the street!

The knots are very garlicky and come with a side of marinara. The salad is iceberg, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers. The pizza was my favorite part--a bit chewy, but still crisp, and lots of melty, delicious cheese and sauce. I wouldn't make a trip just to eat here, but if I was in the neighborhood again, I would happily eat here.

It is accessible via 1 local train at 110th Street followed by a reasonable walk towards 1024 Amsterdam Avenue between 110th Street and 111th Streets. This restaurant is ADA accessible as it is street level. I had the great pleasure to be included to feel welcomed for dinner with colleagues. It was the most heartfelt experience that my presence was genuinely invited welcomingly for inclusion. I am desired for my energy and my existence. Reservations for table of seven (7) was a smooth dinner. Price is reasonable as expected for 2026 stagflation and inflation era. Customer service is attentive to our party of seven and very accommodating to our reasonable requests. Cold water was served chilled and extra wine glasses were distributed among our party for one bottle of wine. Unfortunately, my favorite red wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was unavailable which I suspected and believed to be a hard find. I opt for my second favorite red wine Chianti Classico from central Tuscany, Italy region which is available. This is a premium bottle that contains a Black Rooster neck seal as a member of the official Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico. There is a numbered DOCG seal, which is typically attached to the neck of the bottle confirms the wine's certification and compliance of Chianti wine classifications. This bottle of Chianti wine was very good. It has a dry, medium-bodied defined by bright sour cherry acidity. The bill was prepared and distributed the old school way handwritten on classic perforated "claim check" forms. Business cards are available for grabs. Restroom facility is relatively clean. The atmosphere decorum appears rather dated particularly the ceiling of vintage dated with relief pressed tin tiles. The table cloth is red checkered gingham tablecloths which is popular in Italian restaurants for low cost, and create a rustic vibe. I think these red checkered gingham tablecloths are classic and timeless. This restaurant is ideal and the optimal atmospheric setting for couple first dates. It is not loud and does not emit boisterously loud background music. My foodie synopsis: Complimentary Italian bread with butter was requested and fresh with softness. I prefer olive oil. Lasagna Parmigiana with meat $22.00 Marinara sauce and the meat was a delight for my colleague. House salad $11.00 This is gargantuan portion size which I thought it was medium size, but not as a side dish. It surely tasted fresh. Arugula with white Goat Cheese pizza $25.00, small 14 inch pie (6 pieces) This small pie was enjoyed and shared with two people. It was fresh with high quality ingredients and very tasty. I actually taste the dressing. The Arugula vegetable was abundant. The crust was thin tender center befitting for New York standards and the goat cheese was sufficient but not strong and not overpowering pungent odor. I actually enjoyed this pizza and like the goat cheese. My favorite pizza is Margherita with mozzarella, tomato and basil embedded with extra virgin olive oil. I like the raised edge of Margherita pizza. I cannot recall my remaining party's individual entrées, but it was delightfully engulfed and enjoyed. V & T staff is accommodating to take our group photo for this fellowship of colleagues. Food brings people together as humans we eat to live.

Finding a traditional Italian restaurant with good food and ambiance is always a plus in any city…read more I had hoped that V&T Pizzeria might be just that, a great place for simple pasta dishes with an old-world feel. While the food was fine, the real issue with the restaurant was the environment. My partner and I were seated two tables away from an older woman who proceeded to take a very long call on her phone at the table, using her speakerphone setting. A short time later, another person at the back of the room started the same. Having two loud conversations throughout dinner due to someone on speakerphones did not make for a pleasant experience. The goal of any restaurant should be to create as comfortable an experience as possible for patrons so that they are encouraged to return. While the food experience would have warranted that, the lack of staff management over the disruptive issue of people on their speakerphones during dinner ruined the entire meal. My partner or I could have said something to the customers, but we feel it should be the job of staff or management to handle this, not the patron. And while some will say that this is the way of the world today, we can't accept that. There is a way to act in public, in polite society, which includes stepping outside to take a phone call so other patrons are not disturbed. Other than this significant issue, the waiter was friendly, the food service was quick, and the food was flavorful for the most part. The garlic bread was not of the quality we expected: The bread had been haphazardly coated with a garlic mix that contained very large chunks of garlic, and was not very enjoyable to eat. The bread itself ws simply a piece of French bread cut in half; again, not much effort put into the quality or presentation. One of us ordered Ravioli, and it was clear that the pasta had not been drained properly. There was significant water collection around the sauce. While we might try V&T again, we are inclined to hesitate the next time we are in the area because of this experience. We hope the management discusses this issue and decides to encourage patrons to step outside for their phone calls.

Thankfully, they turned the music down several months ago, and we have thoroughly enjoyed the dining atmosphere ever since! We have been regular customers for many years now. Our experience visiting on 6/28/26 was exceptional from start to finish. Our host was incredibly professional and set such a wonderful tone for the evening. During dinner, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Marlin. He was a wonderful employee and restaurant family member - honestly, the best we have ever met here. He was incredibly attentive and just so authentically warm. He has a true Italian soul and brought a calm, genuine hospitality to our table that made us feel like we were back in Italy. His service was flawless; he even brought us fresh water before our carafes were empty just to make sure it stayed nice and cold, and he kept checking in on us both quietly and verbally to ensure everything was perfect. We realized we've never seen him before because he's usually off on our regular dining night, but we had to introduce ourselves. He is such a wonderful asset to this restaurant. When you notice talent like that, you just have to go online and write about it. The pizzas here are lovely, the pastas are fantastic, and the location has such a cute neighborhood feel with all the locals. We enjoyed the entire experience very much and are so appreciative to have this spot nearby. The only minor change I'd love to see is adding Peroni on tap!

My daughter ordered a lemon drop and OMG--it was so good. I had a Pinot Grigio and was happy they still had happy hour going. The kids had iced tea, and the staff was kind enough to make a raspberry lemonade for them, which they loved. I also really appreciate when restaurants notice kids and automatically bring cups with covers--small detail, but it makes a difference. For food, I ordered the rotativo bolognese--WOW. So much meat and packed with flavor. My mom had the burger and especially loved the truffle fries. The kids got spicy calamari with sauce (I don't usually like seafood, but it honestly looked amazing). The other adults had chicken penne alla vodka and chicken parm with penne, both enjoyed. The kids also ordered sausage and pepperoni pizza, and we accidentally ended up with a margarita pizza too--no complaints there! Service was elite--attentive, friendly, and made the birthday feel special. The place itself is nice and cozy, perfect for date night or family outings. We ended with cheesecake for the birthday girl, which was the perfect touch. I know they have other locations, and we'll definitely be checking those out too.
