The service there is always spot on with such a fast and efficient process to build your healthy bowl and chow down! Their new branding and interior adds a modern refresh as well. Of all our great experiences, this past visit (Monday, June 8th) was the best as we met Marla, a fantastic person and Fresh Kitchen team member. Marla was not only part of the ordering team but towards the end of our meal she stopped by to check on us and see if there was anything else we needed. I mentioned to Marla that we had just signed up for the new Fresh Kitchen loyalty points program and she got so excited to tell us about all the great items we can earn and all the savings we will experience now. Marla's happy demeanor, commitment to customer service and genuine knowledge about Fresh Kitchen's food options and new tech was awesome to experience. This place was so good - I wish they had a location in Southern California, I think it would do so well here! Was in Florida for a friend's wedding and randomly stumbled upon this place and was so glad we did! Loved how customizable the bowls were - everything I got was really yummy and meshed well together. I got the 6 bowl because I honestly wanted to try 2 of the veggies but the 6 bowl was the only option w/ 2 veggies and getting a 4 bowl + 1 veggie was more expensive than a 6 bowl. But regardless - the potato noodle, kale caesar, garlic brocolli, basil mushrooms, bbq chicken and blackened chicken was all so good. I especially liked the char on the blackened chicken, it's hard to find a good char on chicken. The holy kale dressing was also amazing, I could drink that stuff. Would totally come again but I'm never in Florida so sadly I will not be able to return for the foreseeable future. read more

This bowl was absolutely amazing. I ate every morsel on my plate. I love the cold, sweet potato noodles on any and all my bowls from here. I love that you can customize to however much food you want based on the different bowl sizes. There is ample parking in this lot and usually always a line when you go inside to order, but it does not take long to get your food. I learned about this place while en route to another restaurant! I was on my way to a different restaurant when I asked my Lyft driver if he knew of any healthy places in the area. He raved about this place and said he was on his was there after my stop. I asked if we could go there instead and off we went! I love that there are endless combos you can make and plenty of protein options. When I walked in it was packed but the line was moving faster than anticipated. It reminded me of the soup nazi episode from Seinfeld minus the angry chef because it was rather quiet inside, people would order and then shuffle down the line. When it was my turn, I went with the three: brown rice, green beans, and steak for an up charge. You even get your choice of sauce and I got the herb balsamic vinaigrette. Everything was MUCH better than I anticipated! The steak was tender and flavorful, the green beans were crisp, and the sauce although a bit tangier than expected, was the perfect addition to the meal. We had not visited this fresh kitchen in quite a few years. It was certainly a five-star experience on this visit. We found that the portion sizes were generous and larger than other FK locations that we tried out. Also, the quality and taste of the items that we had were far superior than other FK locations. One of the best of their fleet. I found that the two bases, the noodles and the kale or absolutely super. I doubled up on the barbecue chicken and it was a generous portion and very tasty. My two sides, the sweet potatoes and the broccoli were also stars of the bowl. Instead of just one or two extremely tasty items within a bowl, in my six bowl all six items were 100% perfect and high-quality. I actually, based on the portion sizes, would've been satisfied with a four bowl. My wife also stated hers (4 bowl) was excellent and she could not finish it. A+ plus location. It tends to be busy with limited parking so just have that expectation going in. The team at this FK location is extremely well-staffed & prepared-to-please and the crowd moves quickly. read more

This experience was no different. The dining area was clean and open, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious! I opted for a three-bowl because I was headed for a dessert sampling soon after, and it was the perfect serving for a quick and healthy lunch. I have a slight addiction to the green beans at Fresh Kitchen, and I paired them this time with the kale Caesar base and yummy tofu. Although they are now a chain and are wide spread around the Tampa Bay Area markets, the quality of the food has been the same at all locations we have been to. Doesn't look like much from the outside but man was this place poppin! I didn't really know how the menu worked at first but after reviewing with the staff I decided to get the four. I got the sweet potato noodle, Caesar kale, roasted sweet potatoes, Parmesan cheese, grilled chicken and guacamole. Presentation wise it was 10/10. It even tasted as good as it looked. I was on a work trip a couple weeks ago to st. Petersburg and one of my locally based Co workers recommended we all do lunch at fresh kitchen. He said it was healthy and tasty. Fresh kitchen delivered! I had the biggest combo possible, 1 veggie, 1 starch, 3 proteins. I had the broccoli, mashed potato/cauliflower, almond baked chicken, bbq chicken, and another chicken flavor I can't remember, I think it was garlic/herb. Everything was seasoned well! I think that is the misconception with healthy food...people think it has to be bland and boring. If you use spices, you can make a humble piece of broccoli taste amazing, and that's what fresh kitchen did! The potatoes and cauli mash wa flavored well with garlic and salt, and the bbq chicken was really good. The almond chicken didn't have heavy seasoning, however it was still good and had a nice crunch! I should have gone back 1 more time before I left...but there are just so many good eateries in St. Petersburg! I ended up going to mullets the next day and had a great experience there too. I went with the number six, which is two proteins, two bases, two veggies, and one sauce. They allow you to have a sample taste of a protein you might be interested in, but they do not offer the option to taste and sample each sauce of interest. I wish they did. The proteins were missing a hot glazed or, frankly, any marinade heated tofu. You could get a cold tofu salad, though. I had the brown rice and the coconut ginger rice. You could taste the coconut, and while fine, it made the meal a bit of a challenge with the various flavors. The spicy rice had corn, so no go. My proteins were Citrus Chicken, which had a nice flavor, and the BBQ chicken. If they had a shrimp, I definitely would have selected that. Veggies were basil mushrooms, a winner, and lemon garlic broccoli. Both were good. The sauce base was sweet creamy something. I had it on the side and thankfully found it a perfect example of yuck. My significant other had the herb vinaigrette. She initially liked it, but again, with the mix she selected, it wasn't a fit. It would be cool if they offered fan favorite mixes, and folks can eye those. Or something to differentiate them from their top competitor. I had the dragonfruit lemonade. Perfect. The parking lot is horrible. People miss the entry, so they go in the same way you go out. Spaces are narrow in some areas. read more
