This bowl was absolutely amazing. I ate every morsel on my plate. I love the cold, sweet potato noodles on any and all my bowls from here. I love that you can customize to however much food you want based on the different bowl sizes. There is ample parking in this lot and usually always a line when you go inside to order, but it does not take long to get your food. This establishment used to be shared with Taco dirty but is now solely Fresh Kitchen. This is my post workout, not so guilty pleasure.

I learned about this place while en route to another restaurant! I was on my way to a different restaurant when I asked my Lyft driver if he knew of any healthy places in the area. He raved about this place and said he was on his was there after my stop. I asked if we could go there instead and off we went! I love that there are endless combos you can make and plenty of protein options. When I walked in it was packed but the line was moving faster than anticipated. It reminded me of the soup nazi episode from Seinfeld minus the angry chef because it was rather quiet inside, people would order and then shuffle down the line. When it was my turn, I went with the three: brown rice, green beans, and steak for an up charge. You even get your choice of sauce and I got the herb balsamic vinaigrette. Everything was MUCH better than I anticipated! The steak was tender and flavorful, the green beans were crisp, and the sauce although a bit tangier than expected, was the perfect addition to the meal. I was pleased with the value you get for the portions and loved the taste of the dish even more!

Bowl six buffalo chicken and barbecue chicken. Mouthwatering

We had not visited this fresh kitchen in quite a few years. It was certainly a five-star experience on this visit. We found that the portion sizes were generous and larger than other FK locations that we tried out. Also, the quality and taste of the items that we had were far superior than other FK locations. One of the best of their fleet. I found that the two bases, the noodles and the kale or absolutely super. I doubled up on the barbecue chicken and it was a generous portion and very tasty. My two sides, the sweet potatoes and the broccoli were also stars of the bowl. Instead of just one or two extremely tasty items within a bowl, in my six bowl all six items were 100% perfect and high-quality. I actually, based on the portion sizes, would've been satisfied with a four bowl. My wife also stated hers (4 bowl) was excellent and she could not finish it. A+ plus location. It tends to be busy with limited parking so just have that expectation going in. The team at this FK location is extremely well-staffed & prepared-to-please and the crowd moves quickly.

Fresh Kitchen is always five star. The food is just so delicious and makes you feel like you're doing something good for your body but it also just happens to be delicious! This experience was no different. The dining area was clean and open, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious! I opted for a three-bowl because I was headed for a dessert sampling soon after, and it was the perfect serving for a quick and healthy lunch. I have a slight addiction to the green beans at Fresh Kitchen, and I paired them this time with the kale Caesar base and yummy tofu. It was another yummy experience at one of my favorite quick-dining spots.

BBQ Chicken bowl!! Sugar free and gluten free!!

Always amazing quality, super friendly service and large enough parking lot to make getting in and out easy. Always clean and quick.

I love Fresh Kitchen's concept, style, layout, service, and food. Everything about this place makes my heart and stomach sing. FK is your place if you are trying to watch what you eat. It's a restaurant that completely avoids gluten. Some of the menu items do rotate depending on the season. My favorite base is the sweet potato noodles, and my favorite protein options are the almond-crusted chicken and BBQ chicken. I highly recommend the Holy Kale; I find it the perfect zesty flavor for my bowl. The service is simple: pick your bowl size and work your way down the line, stopping at every station until your bowl is complete with a base, protein, sides, garnishes, and sauce. They also have refreshing housemade teas and lemonade.

So many great things to say about this place..!!! Fresh, yummy, delightful food.. you build your own bowl here, so you can pick what you want. Not fancy, but yummy, and quick.. you can dine in as well. Great place for a casual get together with friends, quick family, dinner, or go solo.

What an excellent first experience at Elliott Aster! We went for my birthday after hearing great…read morereviews and it really hit the mark. The service and ambience were exceptional. The pull apart focaccia was a stand out alongside the Cesar salad. For mains we shared two of their most popular pasta dishes and they were cooked perfectly. The Cornichon asparagus was also a fun side to try out. For my birthday they brought out birthday cake ice cream with a candle alongside a hand written card. Will absolutely be back!

**A Disappointing Anniversary Dinner at Elliot Aster, Not the Michelin Level Experience We…read moreExpected** We visited Elliot Aster at The Vinoy last night to celebrate our anniversary, and while a few thoughtful touches stood out, the overall experience fell well short of what a restaurant with Michelin aspirations, and a $300 price tag, should deliver. I want to preface this by saying we are easygoing, forgiving people who rarely complain, so it takes a lot for us to leave a review like this. I was especially excited going in after reading the chef's bio, which references Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. I dined there back in the late 90s, and it remains one of the best meals of my life, right up there with dinner at Alain Ducasse in NYC. That pedigree set my expectations high, though not unrealistic ones. Unfortunately, the execution at Elliot Aster did not come close to living up to that lineage. **The good:** The team acknowledged our anniversary with a card at the table and a glass of champagne with dessert. The filet was cooked perfectly, the gnocchi was well done, and dessert was excellent. **The not so good:** Nearly everything else. Getting to the restaurant itself was confusing. There was no valet greeting, no doorman, and no signage in the lobby pointing us to Elliot Aster, so we had to ask the front desk for directions. Once seated, service was disorganized from start to finish. We ordered cocktails while waiting for our table, and they took 45 minutes to arrive, after multiple follow ups and having to close out a bar tab before the drinks even showed up. My martini arrived nothing like the version advertised (one plain olive instead of the three blue cheese stuffed olives pictured on their own Instagram). Later, at the bar, a port and a beer sat forgotten for 20+ minutes before our server realized he had never brought them over. Our entrees also arrived before we had finished our cocktails, which felt rushed rather than paced for a fine dining experience. The octopus starter was well seared but the flavor combination felt scattered, and the truffle sauce on my filet had almost no truffle flavor, especially disappointing given the chef's pedigree. One small but telling detail: the decorative olive trees hanging over our table were visibly dusty, which was distracting and not something you want to notice at a white tablecloth dinner. No server mentioned a signature dish, made a recommendation, or referenced a sommelier. We never saw one on the floor. I also want to mention the dress code, or lack thereof. We understand we are in Florida, and a laid back approach makes sense here. But asking guests not to wear shorts or t-shirts does not seem unreasonable for a restaurant at this level. Gym clothes, which we saw on more than one guest, is simply not acceptable at this tier of dining. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I understand things go wrong, but this was a long list of avoidable missteps, not one off bad luck. Given the chef's background and the promise it suggested, this was a real letdown. The bar itself is gorgeous, and we had genuinely hoped this would become a regular spot for us, especially given the lounge menu. We were hoping for something reminiscent of La Belle Vie in Minneapolis, a place that held a special spot in our hearts. Unfortunately, based on this visit, we cannot recommend Elliot Aster or The Vinoy.

There's dedicated parking for the restaurant behind the building in the lot, plus metered street parking and garages within less than a block. The main entrance is on the side of the building, on 5th Street S just off 6th Avenue S. Outdoor seating is available, but I personally wouldn't choose it, sitting right next to a busy intersection with constant traffic and exhaust isn't my idea of enjoyable. That said, the interior ambiance alone is worth the visit. Inspired by the historic George Peabody Library and part of the Oxford Commons Hospitality group, the design is quirky, fun. The thoughtful mix of bookshelves, warm lighting, rich browns and deep blues, and the seamless blend of library, bar, and dining space creates a truly special atmosphere, especially if you love books. We visited as part of a large group for a special occasion dinner. They accommodated us on very short notice after our original plans changed due to possible rain and outside seating only at our first reservation, which was impressive. Our waitress was fantastic, she handled our entire table (and others) by herself with no buss person and still managed every order and individual request with genuine care and efficiency. I haven't tried breakfast, lunch, the morning coffee/pastry take-out window, or the bar yet, but the dinner experience was excellent. Fair warning: this is not a budget-friendly spot. If you're watching every dollar or might resent the food due to prices, it's probably not the place for you. It's ideal for special occasions or when you want to enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost, each dish/cocktail is in line with upscale dining in the area,it does add up quickly with drinks, apps, entrees, and sides, though I read they have happy hour. We ordered appetizers (shared), I also had the opportunity to sip a few cocktails (when offered), I also shared entrees, and sides with some of our group. Everything we tried was very good, there were not stand-outs, all was scrumptious, from the start of appetizers: the warm bread with its delicious butter spread, the roasted cauliflower, the spicy crispy shrimp, the Steak Frites, the perfectly cooked French fries, and the sautéed spinach, all of which I had a taste of personally. The portions looked modest on the plates but were surprisingly filling, many of us had leftovers to take home. We finished with the warm cookie and ice cream, which was hands-down amazing, especially with the perfect touch of flaky salt on top. The cocktails were strong and creative. My first choice (suggested by the waitress) wasn't quite to my taste, it was too tart and strong for me, but she immediately removed it from the bill and happily brought me something else I enjoyed much more.
