Love this place!!!! I usually order lunch from here once a week and I go between the west shore location and south tampa location and both locations are equally delicious. I cannot express the love I have for this place, the food is so fresh and so delicious. The flavors are out of this world and for it being a quick grab kinda place, I'm surprised how good the food is every time. My only complaint to this place is the pricing. I would eat here everyday if the prices would go down. A 4 bowl is around $8 and a 6 bowl is around $10. That doesn't sound like a lot which those prices are not but if you choose steak as your meat (which I do) it goes up $2-$4 (depending on the size of bowl you get ) and then if you want extra sauce it's $.25 and I add extra broccoli (because it's to die for) and that's another $1-$2 so after all the add ons, I usually pay about $18-$19 a bowl. It would be awesome if they did some kind of rewards club or something but honestly, they probably know they don't have to because their food speaks for itself and I will keep coming back regardless LOL. One other note, the south tampa location has barely any parking, so it's kinda a pain to get in and out of there. The west shore location has a lot in the back of the building but during lunch time, the place is packed and never any parking available. I would also suggest to order ahead online that way you don't have to wait when you get there. If your in there area or need a new place to try, go to Fresh Kitchen! Fresh kitchen allows you to build your own bowl from the base to the toppings. I chose the sweet potato zoodles and green rice with Thai chicken, mushrooms and a ginger sauce. Very flavorful and fresh. The portion size for the smaller option was still filling although I'd probably choose the 6 option next time. Fresh kitchen is exactly what you'd expect by the name. Just went there for the first time and was highly impressed by the quality of the food and the amount you get. Chipotle and other bowl places are good, but this place is great! Kitchen staff are happy and helpful, they are very knowledgeable about the menu. FYI, there is very little sugar in the ingredients. Overall, happy with the selections I got, so I'll be back again. Would recommend for those who want to feel good after they eat. read more

Who doesn't like fresh kitchen? They are gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, they have options for all diet types or allergies or whatever your deal is. But they also make healthy food taste good so who doesn't like that? My go-to bowl is the spinach and quinoa bases, with broccoli and sweet potatoes as the veggie, and double almond chicken. I do the balsamic as the sauce! So flavorful, fills me up, and healthy too! They usually have a line, no matter what, but they are quick and it moves fast! Parking can be a bit of a struggle, they need a larger lot for sure, but again people are coming and going so you will find something eventually! read more

Don't be fooled the spicy rice is actually hot as can be , they have the best baked chicken crusted with almonds and the teriyaki chicken is well! The kale salad doesn't taste that Well. Sauces are an extra up charge which I feel like is reasonable if people were to want a lot but they basically give you a small sample of it for your food which is business but if I'm spending 10$ on a bowl I need sauce, I was not a fan of the juices I know it's supposed to be healthy but the flavors are a little off putting and taste watered down! I really enjoyed my meal here! Not only is the food very fresh, flavorful, and healthy, but the service is amazing. Everyone greeted us with warm smiles and were patient with us as we made our selections down the line (it was our first time ever eating at a Fresh Kitchen). I just really love this place, I've been to both the St. Petersburg and the south Tampa location, both were just as great as the other. If I had to put words to it I'd say it's like the chipotle of health food. I really enjoy their options and how they have seasonal dishes that change throughout the year as well as how much you can personalize your dish with the sauce options. This is always a great choice for lunch or dinner, they have multiple size portions to fill any appetite. I can be a big eater when I'm hungry and their largest portion even satisfies my hunger. I will say I enjoyed EVERYTHING I ate.... except the tofu. They just switched to a Caprese tofu and it literally tasted like ice cubes. Someone must not have defrosted it long enough before serving it. The mash, broccoli, mushrooms and sweet potatoes noodles (so good!) were amazing though! As was the creamy ginger sauce. (Yum!) I always get some variation of the 4 bowl (plenty of food) and one of their delicious frescas to drink. It's usually always crowded at lunch time, but the line moves super quick. Parking can be a little tough, but the Kennedy location has so much more parking than their SoHo location. I've heard so many great things about this place and after finally giving it a try, I'm here to confirm, the hype is real. Healthy, refreshing, and home made are the best ways I can describe Fresh Kitchen. Their ordering concept reminds me of chipotle in the sense that you create your own bowl via an assembly line starting with your 'base', veggies and meat. But expect all good options to be healthy such as quinoa, sweet potato, chick peas, etc. you also get the choice of a topping sauce. There are a couple up charges so be mindful of that, especially if this is your first time. The employees were very patient and helped explain the menu and their ordering style while also suggesting some of their recommendations. There is additional parking in the back of the restaurant which is convenient and easy to access. All in all, clean, fast service, a bit pricey but the food was worth the price. 10/10 will be back read more

No customer should be disrespected-- unfortunately that's what happened today by the staff at this location. Ive written good reviews on FK and other places but I think highlighting what's wrong with a place is even more critical. I have been to FK before and have enjoyed the food but today I didn't enjoy the experience. I am very un-happy with the service at this location. Today the cashier at the register very quickly told me "stripe side up" when I got to the front however I didn't hear her at first. When I gave her my card, she snatched it out of my hand and just put it in the machine-- but she didn't swipe it-- she made me and waited for me to do that. What's up with the attitude? The customer service today was insulting. To snatch a card out of someone's hand who simply didn't hear/react as fast as you wanted is insane. Surprisingly, after telling her that I was sorry I didn't hear her- and she didn't acknowledge it. I did nothing or said nothing to provoke her(I was actually in a great mood prior to her doing this). No one should have to deal with being disrespected when trying to simply pay for their meal. I have been to the other FK location and they were much more kind. It's not about the food, it's not about the money-- it's about respecting others. Sure, this is an individual but they wear the logo on their shirt like the rest of them and represent the business. This is another freshly assembled meal franchise, and I love it! They have tons of choices, and everything tastes pretty good. I got the medium bowl, and it was slightly more than what I wanted for one meal, but not enough for two. Service is quick and easy -- not unlike Chipotle. The servers are also friendly. The portion sizes we received were actually ridiculous and so tiny. Paid extra for the sides as well. Almost $30 and couldn't even get a full meal. Guy behind me ordered a kids bowl and his was bigger than my 4 bowl. We aren't coming here at all anymore and we'll advise everyone else all of the other options where you can actually get a fulfilling portion.
