We absolutely love this restaurant! We come here so often because it is close by and order food for take out or dine in. I love the seasonal items and look forward to seeing what new items will be added to the menu. I have Celiac Disease so it's great that they have no food items that contain gluten. I usually get a 6 bowl which is 2 based, 2 veggies, 2 proteins. The price ranges around 13 to 14$ after tax. Steak is a little bit more. The citrus chicken is my go to protein, but I have tried other seasonal items such as the teriyaki chicken and buffalo chicken which were also great. I recently tried the steak which is cooked medium rare. It was very very tender, good flavor and had a perfect warm pink center. The veggie quinoa, sweet potato noodles and spicy rice are the best in ny opinion. The only thing I'm not a fan of is how their veggies are cooked. They used to have string beans which I loved, but now it's mainly the mushrooms and broccoli which tend to be very blackened by the grill. Just went here to grab lunch today and was really disappointed. Have not been to this location in a few months. I usually go to the soho location and i noticed the portion size is pretty significant. I ordered the six bowl which is 2 bases, 2 veggies, 2 proteins, and one sauce. It was a really small portion for the price. I understand that proteins are expensive but to have a small scoop of kale salad seems kind of sad. I chose kale salad and cauliflower rice as my 2 bases. For the veggies I chose green beans and sweet potatoes. Both were a little undercooked. Proteins I chose were steak and bbq chicken. Stopped in based on a friend's recommendation and loved it. We went during lunch and the line was out the door. They went through the line pretty quickly and we were done in about 15m. I love the options and variety they have for the bases/proteins/sides. I got sweet potato noodles and kale salad as my base which were both really good. It was hard to choose just 2 of the sides- they had so many great options. I also liked that the dressings were on the side so you could ask for a few different ones and try them before you committed to putting it on your whole meal. The price was pretty reasonable. Love this place!!!! I usually order lunch from here once a week and I go between the west shore location and south tampa location and both locations are equally delicious. I cannot express the love I have for this place, the food is so fresh and so delicious. The flavors are out of this world and for it being a quick grab kinda place, I'm surprised how good the food is every time. My only complaint to this place is the pricing. I would eat here everyday if the prices would go down. A 4 bowl is around $8 and a 6 bowl is around $10. That doesn't sound like a lot which those prices are not but if you choose steak as your meat (which I do) it goes up $2-$4 (depending on the size of bowl you get ) and then if you want extra sauce it's $.25 and I add extra broccoli (because it's to die for) and that's another $1-$2 so after all the add ons, I usually pay about $18-$19 a bowl. It would be awesome if they did some kind of rewards club or something but honestly, they probably know they don't have to because their food speaks for itself and I will keep coming back regardless LOL. One other note, the south tampa location has barely any parking, so it's kinda a pain to get in and out of there. The west shore location has a lot in the back of the building but during lunch time, the place is packed and never any parking available. Who doesn't like fresh kitchen? They are gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, they have options for all diet types or allergies or whatever your deal is. But they also make healthy food taste good so who doesn't like that? My go-to bowl is the spinach and quinoa bases, with broccoli and sweet potatoes as the veggie, and double almond chicken. I do the balsamic as the sauce! So flavorful, fills me up, and healthy too! They usually have a line, no matter what, but they are quick and it moves fast! Parking can be a bit of a struggle, they need a larger lot for sure, but again people are coming and going so you will find something eventually! read more
