During my short time in the Buford area, I've come to this place twice in the last two days. The food brought me back as well as proximity to our hotel, however if I were local, the service would drive me away. The type of staff that seems more, interested in hanging out and talking with each other than actually serving the customers. First day I was here. I got the bulgogi Omurice dish and it was tasty. I expected the omelette actually cover the entire portion of rice (top and bottom like an omelette which it didn't. Nevertheless, served piping hot in the stone dish and the flavors were good and not overpowering, and the portion was large. A decent value. The second day, after learning a lesson from the previous one, my wife and I split the Bulgogi fried rice dish (which she had gotten the day before.) Again, the flavors did not disappoint. The rub came when my cousin and I, who have two Independent families and who paid separately, were bulked together as one large group so that a mandatory service fee could be tacked on. When I asked, they said the computer made them charge the service fee. This is in addition to having the system prompt for a tip in addition. The ironic part is that we weren't even standing next to each other in line. Then if you are going to charge a service fee, we would expect to have some solid service that is pretty prompt. Small things such as being able to get water when and as soon as you sit down (perhaps they were busy?), as well as having the sufficient amount of silverware (perhaps they just miscounted?) and actually people smile when they're helping you (perhaps it was the end of the day and they were tired?). Lots of hypotheticals. Just a higher expectation of service, especially when being subject to this service fee. Nevertheless, the family enjoyed the food. We are in and out and about 45 minutes and I'm leaving town today so it doesn't really matter but if you're looking for great service, this isn't the place for you but if you just need a quick bite to pick up and take back to your home or hotel,, go for it.

Whenever I'm in the…read moreDuluth area, it's top of mind because I always enjoy their food and love their vegetarian options. I placed an online order, and it was ready in 15 minutes, which was impressive given how much I ordered. The food was nicely packaged, beautifully presented, and tasted great. I ordered enough for three days: * Fried Oyster Mushrooms ($12.95): Lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and a large portion. Next time, I'll ask for the yum yum and soy-based sauces on the side. My drive was over an hour, so some mushrooms got slightly soggy. They were still edible, but having the sauce separate is better for travel. * Butter Beer ($6): A delicious treat! I got the medium, but I'll definitely size up next time. * Chinese Broccoli ($12.95): Another large serving. It comes with steamed rice, but I upgraded to fried rice for an extra $2. I also added chili oil on the side for $0.50. * Spider Roll ($10.95): Pretty good, a decent size, and sliced thin. * BBQ Pork Fried Rice ($14.50): One of my favorite entrees they serve. Very large portion and delicious. My total was $68.44 for three days of food, including tax, service fee, and tip. The order was ready right at the estimated pickup time. The service was great, and I was greeted warmly when I walked in. Everything traveled well for over an hour and reheated beautifully over the next couple of days. It's great to see they're still producing delicious vegetarian food. For those who know, they know, but if you haven't been, go check out Vegreen!

We got the: - BBQ Chicken Drumsticks: The drumsticks were thick, smoky, and slightly stringy- definitely reminiscent of real chicken. The sauce was on the sweeter side, but still tasty. - Teppan Tofu Bibimpak: Came out sizzling! The tofu was crispy on the outside, almost custard-like on the inside. The sauce was savory goodness. - Black Pepper Steak Udon: Steak was nicely chewy, udon well-cooked, strong pepper essence. - Truffle Fried Rice: Crazy enough, this might be the best fried rice I've ever eaten. Such a unique combination of ingredients including black truffle, avocado, pine nuts, chestnut, mushroom, and green beans. Cool presentation too. - BBQ Pork Fried Rice: Right amount of sweetness with good wok hei. - Tempura Shrimp Roll: Tasted classic, liked that it had fried enoki mushroom in addition to mock shrimp. Ambiance is casual and spacious, lots of parking up front. Service is fast and friendly. To note, they have an automatic 18% service charge. Also, if you spend $30 in one transaction, you get $10 VG cash for next time (no minimum purchase necessary, expires within 10 days). Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to go back and try other dishes if it was a bit closer to my house. 10/10 would recommend!

The door was unlocked, so we walked in. A staff member told us they didn't open until 11:00 and asked us to wait outside. He also told us that we should only come in when the sign outside was lit. I completely understand that the restaurant has business hours, but it was only three minutes before opening. Also, it's summer and the sunlight is very bright, making it extremely difficult to tell whether the sign is lit or not. The three-minute wait wasn't the issue. What bothered me was the way the staff member spoke to us. It felt more like he was lecturing us than politely communicating with customers. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for us not to come back, and I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends.
