I ordered three tacos for myself 2 chicken and 1 beef taco They miss understood me and gave me 2 chicken tacos and 1 black bean taco. The taco is literally black beans in a soft tortilla shell. I am visually impaired so I was unable to confirm the order on the receipt. When I called back to have the order corrected and explained the mistake made the person who answered the phone NICOLE was extremely rude stating they are unable to exchange the order for an hour because they are "busy". I then asked several times to speak with a manager and my request was denied and ignored, when I became persistent she claimed to be the manager on duty, she then hung up the phone on me screaming telling me to call back in an hour. I don't get how you can combine Mexican, Chinese and Japanese all in one place and still be good. Aren't they taking on too much? I had low expectations, but I am looking for reasonable places to pick up a bite to eat when neither of us want to cook. I tried the Mexican-tacos and burritos and my husband went for Chinese-Lo Mein. They were both surprizingly good. I am starting to like this place. The next time I got the taco pizza. I was nervous about getting sushi from a place that also sells Mexican food but thank goodness it was good! My dad got the general taos lunch special with brown rice. "It was good! Surprising! Nice portion." - dad. His meal came with pickles and tomatoes on the side. Different but apparently it helped him not over eat and was a nice side. I (the vegan) ordered a vegetable roll, avocado roll, and seaweed salad. The veggie roll was huge!! It had cucumber, oshinko, avocado, lettuce (?), and some hard and salty orange thing that looked like it wanted to be asparagus. The avocado roll was regular. The seaweed salad was good and had lettuce underneath (a fun surprise). I posted a photo of our food. It was awesome how the Chinese food container had dividers to separate food. Plenty of wasabi, soy sauce, and Ginger for my sushi and preservative free soy sauce :-) all and all it was a good move to get food from here. read more

Ordered delivery. Yes the delivery guy was an asshole. Anyway, I got the taro bubble tea, Mexican rice w/ shrimp, guacamole with chips and a chicken burrito. The rice was meh. The taro bubble tea was good, not too sweet. The guacamole seemed to lack avocado and was mostly onions but it was well seasoned. The chicken burrito is about the size of a newborn baby. This is sort of a ridiculous place. There are three menus to pick from, and they actually ran out of room for all three, and had to stick the third menu on the side wall. To complicate matters, there are chinese-english translations behind the register for all of the menu items. Burrito I had wasn't exactly 'mexicana autentica', but it was a good deal. I seen the menu and loved that it was 3 restaurants in one Mexican Japanese and Chinese . We called for delivery I ordered the shrimp tacos shrimp tempura roll and the watermelon bubble tea. They had so many flavors so I wanted to try the watermelon. I've never seen that flavor before . I'll say as a real bubble tea drinker it wasn't the best I've ever had but it was fairly good. This is a great place if you want sushi but your in a rush; not if your looking for a grade A sushi bar with all the bells and whistles. I've ordered many times from this place for lunch, mainly for their sushi/Japanese dishes but their Mexican food is good too. My best friend lives in this neighborhood and almost every time I go over, we get take out from this restaurant. It's great because there are so many choices: Chinese, Japanese, and Tex-Mex. And you can get bubble tea! What more can you want? Not only is there a great variety to choose from, the food is just amazing for a neighborhood take-out/delivery restaurant. The sushi is amazingly fresh and the pieces are perfectly adequate and affordable. If you want quality sushi without spending a ton of money, this is the place to go. As for the Mexican and Chinese food, they are delicious. You can see them cooking as you stand at the counter, so no funny business there. They use some of the freshest ingredients, some of which they grown themselves, in their garden behind the restaurant! (I asked.) By far my favorite item on the Tex-Mex menu is the Mexican pizza. Japanese, sushi, Mexican, Chinese, and schwarma too? You'd think that with so many options nothing would be stellar, but it's all great! We live down the street and order from Fresh Tortillas for dinner at least once a week. The mexican is phenomenal (our favorites are the quesadilla gigante and the tostada salads) and they make all their own shells and tortillas. They'll even sell you just taco shells if you're hosting a party and making your own tacos. The food is all very fresh, the chicken juicy and the veggies crisp. The shells and nachos are greasy in the best kind of way. The Chinese food is also the best we've had in the area. My favorite is the sesame chicken and my husband loves the General Tsao's. Everything else that we've tried on the menu has been great. The sushi is basic, but fresh and tasty. It's not the place to go if you're looking for gourmet and creative sushi, but it's great weeknight sushi, and you'll never get sick from it. The prices can't be beat, and they do take credit cards over the phone if you ask. Delivery is super quick- our food usually arrives at our door 20 minutes after we've ordered, and never later than 30 minutes. The delivery guys always come up the elevator to our apartment door. I've ordered from here multiple times expecting change and nope. The burritos are terrible. They throw everything in a tortilla, fold it in half and throw it in foil. They don't even wrap it properly. When you open the foil everything opens up and falls out. How are you supposed to eat a burrito that's not wrapped! The guacamole doesn't even look or taste real. Once I gave him a $4.25 tip and he said "no $6 tip"?. He got mad when he didn't get a $6 tip. Another time I cleared handed him $3 tip after giving him a $10 bill with two singles. Love this place! I've been ordering from them since I moved to the Bronx over 10 years ago. They have become my "go to" take out spot. The food is always fresh and well prepared. The menu for this restaurant features three sections: Mexican Cuisine, Japanese Cuisine, and Chinese Cuisine. The Chinese selections are quite limited in scope, compared to other Chinese take-out places in the area, but are perfectly serviceable in quality. As for the Japanese section: the Salmon Teriyaki is better than one might expect (especially for under eight dollars), and their sushi is surprisingly good - better than that served at some higher-priced restaurants. The "Mexican" cuisine is far from authentic, and at times borders on repulsive. Several of the "Mexican" items are heavy, cheese-and-grease-laden monstrosities. Their hot sauce is thin (and parsimoniously doled out - as is their sour cream - in tiny, thimble-size containers). The guacamole is a crime against humanity, and shouldn't be legally eligible to be called guacamole. Stick to the Asian sections of the menu for food that won't make you hate yourself. read more
