    Foods that I ordered: No Can Clam Chowder The Yodelin - Coconut Yellow Curry Lime Wild Halibut Bone Broth Inner Coastal - Lemongrass Chicken Bone Broth Rice Noodles Tillamook Grilled Cheese Always Baked Small Potatoes This place was difficult to rate because it has such creative offerings and bold flavors, particularly tackling broths with an emphasis on fish. To start, I ordered the Yodelin, which I will rate a 2/5. It's their version of a coconut yellow curry lime wild halibut bone broth. Now, the sad part is there wasn't really much of a curry flavor, and the entire broth was way too citrusy (like they over-seasoned it with lime), which pretty much overpowered the dish. To be honest, I couldn't even taste any curry or halibut bone broth and was quite disappointed. Also, it looks like they put KALE in practically 3/7 of their broths. I'll be honest, it doesn't seem like it fits, especially being crunchy and bitter. The ratio of broth to toppings was not well-balanced; I felt like it was 40% broth and 60% ingredients. To make matters worse, my partner ordered the Inner Coastal, which was shiitake mushroom lemongrass chicken bone broth with rice noodles. In a way, it presented itself and looked like their interpretation of pho, but it was nothing of the sort and fell short. It just tasted bland with overpowering lemongrass. It never felt like the actual chicken broth itself shined through. I'll rate this a 2/5 as well. Now, outside of what they're known for (which is the broths), their other items tasted great. The No Can Clam Chowder was delicious (5/5), with fresh clams and a creamy base that balanced well with the salinity of the seafood. The Tillamook Grilled Cheese was well-grilled with a great crunchy texture and a cheesy bite (5/5). Lastly, the Always Baked Small Potatoes were just that--small, salted potatoes that were baked, served with a side of ranch. Despite being very simple, the freshness and quality stood out. I say all this to say that I really wanted to like this place because of its creative, bold take on utilizing fish bones as a base for a lot of their broths. If done correctly, I think this place could be even more successful than it already has been. However, the lack of depth in the bone broths was really the biggest disappointing factor for me. What carried the rest of this review were the non-primary items: the grilled cheese, baked potatoes, and clam chowder.

    I'd say it's a solid bowl of noodles. I absolutely adored the fresh vegetables in the dishes. I love that I left feeling light while comforted which is truly hard to do. It was the perfect place to have lunch after spending hours at the beach. The restaurant itself was super cute as well. Oh and the service was friendly as can be. Never felt rushed which was so nice. Would absolutely come back if we were in town longer.

    Came for dinner and it was super busy (and got busier) as the night went on. Ordered the spicy ginger soda- really gingery, chowder (had tons of clams) and tasted good, the vegan slaw was really acidic but the curried raisins were super good. The hang ten had good depth and adding the shrimp was a good call (they loaded it up). Overall good experience.

    Husband and I both got the Yodelin bowl with halibut, DELICIOUS! The ingredients are super fresh with a unique flavor profile that works beautifully. I would recommend booking a reservation for dinner.

    pros: clean, fresh healthy food with big portions cons: n/a We ordered the yodelin soup, PNW salmon rice bowl, and baked small potatoes w zesty ranch. Everything was so good. Left feeling full but not heavy (like how fast food makes you feel groggy after). Our ultimate favorite was the rice bowl, the vinaigrette is soo good!! The ranch has lots of dill so it's quite tart if you're into that type of ranch. **for broth bowls, none of them come with actual fish so remember to add that on! wish that was communicated to us before ordering**

    Ok, I am struggling with this review because it can be so good and also so bad. In our short 4 nights stay in Port Angeles, we went to Yodlin twice. That's saying something because I like trying new restaurants. So going to the same place twice in a short trip, is rare. Our first time we tried their clam chowder, the salmon rice bowl, and the Yodlin (adding clam). With drinks and everything, it became a bit of an expensive yet 'light' dinner. However, we did love the vibe there. The weather was mild enough to sit outside with a nice bowl of hot soup, the staff was friendly and food for the most part, was very tasty. Hubby had the rice bowl which he did love the flavor, but it was more a salad than a 'rice bowl'. I loved the taste of my broth, but for a bowl of noodle soup highlighting on the broth, there wasn't enough soup. And because there was soooooo much kale, it quickly got cold. It was great the first half of the meal, but you basically have to eat it fast. However, we loved the flavor so much, and I thought to myself, just let them know to reduce the kale and it would be great. We went the second time. I ordered a different broth (Moonlight), added clams and hubby got a fish burger. I specifically asked to reduce the amount of kale, however, the broth was not tasty enough so the 2nd time there, did not have the same magic. It became an expensive, not-so-tasty light dinner. I think had I live in the area and know exactly how to order and tweak it to my preference, I'd frequent Yodelin. More broth, less greens (I mean, I like some veggie in my soup but that amount was cray), maybe even a bit more udon/noodles, broth needs to be hotter for that comfort food feeling.... just my thoughts.

    Amazing ambience, even more amazing food. We got the PNW salmon rice bowl with the half rice, more veggies, option, miso soup, yodeling soup, garlic bread, potatoes with Sriracha aïoli. Everything we had was just amazing, service was great. Everyone was very friendly. Would highly recommend stopping by here if you're looking for a tasty healthy option in the area with immaculate vibes.

    The hospitality felt off-kilter. The dining space is not kept at a warm-enough temperature where we could take our coats off. Was this in fact a campsite remake, where some biking- or kayak-gear heads decided to play "Chef in the kitchen" for a novel change? The hospitality is not up to par with warm, welcoming dining experience. It felt "awkward". The soup broth of their signature "Yodelin" was imbalanced-- as if made by a yahoo who recently encountered Thai or Asian flavors such as curry/lime/coconut milk, then tried to emulate them without the discipline of learning how the ingredients are treated in the original culinary tradition. Broth was too sour, base notes of coconut oil were heavy-handed, and the broth needed sugar to add depth/round out the taste. The after taste was not pleasant -- even hours later. The broth was made with fish bones (I think? No explanation offered by wait staff...) so it is not vegetarian, but the soup is served with noodles and veggies only. Any protein is additional upcharge. The cod I added was $10 over base price. Total for a generous bowl of soup was $35. The soup bowl was filled with raw vegetables that should never be served raw in any soup (even Asian-adjacent). Did the newly-minted "Kitchen Bro-s" want to experiment with a salad and soup in one? A fistful of kale, not even julienned to exclude the stalks, topped the broth. Kale has oxalates which don't digest in the gut easily unless you wilt or cook it, at the very least (...old food cultures have worked this out). Awkward to eat this soup/salad when only a regular tablespoon is offered, not a soup spoon. As well, plonking in a separately-cooked filet of cod whole, as an afterthought, defeats the purpose of soup. The whole idea of soup is that it is slowly-simmered, and infuses a blend of ingredients together. I often make a salmon chowder where you can have bits of fish and vegetables that flow easily into the mouth. Here you are left trying to cut the cod-- served as a filet-- while it is in the liquid soup. Then you have to slurp up broth to wash it down -- a disjointed mouth feel. The cod though top quality, still lacked in seasoning (marination with some acidic element would help). After a cold wet hike, I was soooo looking forward to trying this place. But frankly, next time I'll stick to the warm hospitality and authentic-to-tradition food culture, taste, and kitchen chops of nearby SABAI THAI! The following day I had a $17 bowl of Tom Kha soup at KHU LARB in nearby Port Townsend.....damn, that was excellent hot and sour coconut milk soup flavor, flowing with fully cooked assorted veggies, exactly 1/2 the price of what I had in Yodelin. Their marketing about being "PNW (Pacific Northwest)" cuisine seems like a fake flag, I assure you the Japanese, Chinese, and Philippinos have been integral to every industry here right from the beginning - so Asian food is on equal footing as "PNW". Their marketing on "sustainability" is odd when customers are given plastic glasses and water pitchers and a plastic bowl -- not porcelain and glass.

    Wow, unreal. We stopped by for lunch. We split the salmon bowl, Yodelin broth with Cod, garlic bread and clam chowder. There is something for everyone on this menu, even people who don't like seafood! Food came out quick. We didn't get a seat inside but outdoor area was warm enough with heaters. I would be hesitant on a colder day though!

    I will be honest, at first glance I thought this place was going to be all about broth bowls and wondered what I was going to enjoy. While it has quite the variety to choose from, it was pleasantly more than that. Service here was fantastic! Very homey and warm. Staff shared their suggestions and were very quick to provide service. The food was delicious. We enjoyed one Yodelin broth bowl with salmon, a PNW rice bowl with salmon, and a side of garlic bread. Coffee's were also very well made and a delight. Overall, lunch was a great experience, very filling, and a great value and were it not for the 3,000 miles between me and this place, I would be a regular. Enjoy!

    This place was recommended to me by a local and I would highly recommend to anyone traveling into Washington. The food was out fast and the taste was fresh and delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with a chill ambiance provided.

    The place has a unique theme and cute ambiance. The service is fine and the food is nicely presented. But it all just ends there. When it comes to the actual taste of the food it's really falling apart. This seems to be a new restaurant so I really hope they will take some time to redevelop their menu, reset the prices, and really do some taste test before rolling out the new menu. The foods are either really bland, or has a strange and unpleasant taste to them. First of all, all of their fish broth noodles dishes are vegetarian... which is really weird and counterintuitive. If you're already using the fish broth as the base, then why not have actual fish meat in the dish, too? (It's not "vegetarian" anymore whether you have fish or not at this point). I only noticed that the fish isn't part of the dish until the dish came, and I am sure I wasn't the first or only one. Any dish with fish in it (salad, side dish), the fish has an overcooked texture and also bland without enough seasoning. The boiled clam dish was a bit better but it seriously needs some salt and garlic to boost the taste. The garlic toasts are dry. The yodelin noodle dish uses a curry base but it is really sour for some reason. Also the so called "udon noodles" aren't even close to the real udon noodles. I see the intent of attempting some innovation and fusion to the food but none of it seems to be working. Unfortunately my friends and I left all feeling really disappointed and even a little pissed: The food is quite expensive on top of everything, which did not help with the overall experience.

    visited 3 times in 2 days, after trying it for the first time we were in PA the month before. Yum yum yum!! i can't remember the last time i was blown away by greens, the taste, crisp, freshness, and mouth feel was surprisingly a WOW, OMG, moment. I got the salmon bowl, 3 times so far, and my fam and friends who got it were raving about it too. Broth bowls were great too. I got the inner coastal. Especially if you're a mushroom lover, so good!! Fries delicious and the other OM dish ("orgasm-in-my-mouth", I started saying that decades ago with my girlfriends after trying our first molten lava cake!) was the Coconut Chia Pudding w Blueberry Compote. That's like a healthy dessert we all make at home, right? Well, not like theirs!! Several of us have tried to duplicate it at home. Not as good as Yodelin's! Wait staff super friendly. Comfy casual ambiance. Warm summer days eat outside. Bring layers. Cools down in the evenings. Or grab a cozy table inside. Tip: they're one of the few restaurants open 7 days a week. Book reservations, especially on Mondays when lots of other good eateries are closed. Or just enjoy waiting outside at the picnic tables. Congrats Yodelin!! Thank you for coming to PA! You're my new must-stop restaurant whenever I'm visiting home!!

Whenever I travel to coastal cities, I'm always on the lookout for good fish tacos, and these were definitely delicious. Since they were about $25 for two tacos, it was definitely a "one and done" for me. Seafood Basket: 4/5 This is your typical fried seafood basket, including halibut, cod, and shrimp. All the seafood was fresh. I enjoyed the shrimp; they were bouncy, but not rubbery like frozen shrimp. The cod was flaky and plump. The halibut was the same cut as the fish tacos--denser and packed with flavor. I really liked this dish, but after a couple of bites, the heavy fried food definitely got to me. It'd be better if they served this with a side of coleslaw or vegetables to balance out the entire meal.

It feels like every seat has a perfect, almost 360 view of the water. One of those spots where you catch yourself staring out the window mid-bite. Our server actually turned out to be from our area, which made for such an easy, fun conversation and added a really personal touch to the experience. The fish was the best I had in Port Angeles--fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you're eating right on the water. I also had to grab chicken tenders for the kids (mandatory parenting order), and those were solid too. And the house lemonade? No joke--so good. My husband ordered a beer and asked if we could please place our dinner order as we had to get home sooner than later...Server caustically remarked only drink orders as she was too busy (being a former bartender and long time server myself I had noticed the large dining room was not crowded) and at least 20 minutes later when she was passing thru again for several more drink orders he asked again about placing our food order and this time she ripped into him, rudely... and informed him she would have to work 10 times harder if she took our food order. I was shocked that she would speak to him in such a unprofessional manner, I told her we had not come in to be snarled at by the wait staff and we got up to leave, she yelled at my husband to just forget the beer cost and we left embarrassed about the scene she created as the rest of our group was arriving. He called this morning to discuss this with the young male manager who proceeded to berate him for the treatment of the server!! and claimed that the group applauded the server after we left ( we spoke to several bowlers that were there and the managers claim was certainly not anything that any of them experienced.....he told my husband we were not welcome to come back and we certainly will not if that is how the restaurant is being ran by the new ownership.

Your response is inaccurate when you say you can not track the ticket. You tracked it well enough to refund the tip but not the money paid for food and beverage which was never served.. your employee also had the ticket in hand when the order was cancelled. You could also search your POS system for cancelled tickets with the tip amount you refunded. So no I don't buy your explanation. I had no issues with your business or employers when i left however just refunding the tip and jeeping the rest is inexcusable. There is no need to do anything else since i gave disputed it already. As for me posting the facts if what happened on Yelp that is what it is for. Do you also condemn those who post a five star review on Yelp. Can't have it both ways. My review was factual about what happened. I understand you don't like it but it should have been habdked differently.
