Hands down one of my favorite spots in Columbia. This could be attributed to its delicious food, adorable aesthetic or much too convenient location. The staff is super friendly (almost overwhelmingly so), and the owner is also down-to-Earth. I've been here probably fifteen times, each time ordering a variation of the same thing. I have always enjoyed it, but have seen some inconsistency with sizes. There are two "sizes"- referring to the scoops of protein (two or three, three costing an additional two dollars)- but some days there is a nice amount of rice, giving about a 2:1 rice to everything else ratio, and other days, there is too little rice, leaving the container looking less than half full. I would like to see more consistency, a larger variety of sizes (maybe a mini-bowl because there is no good way to save half of your rice bowl for the next day- you can't reheat the rice if it's mixed with sushi, etc) and some specials/ deals just to make things exciting! I think this place is off to a great start, leaving room for improvement, and I am interested to see how they respond to the new Poke Bros location opening less than a mile away. I'm hoping the competition will bring about some intriguing changes. read more

WOW, such an incredible place all around. I used to live in Columbia and was recently in the area and saw this new restaurant. I love Poke so decided I would check it out and it was incredible. All of their options are so fresh, reasonably priced, and the staff is so friendly. This place was really tasty--pretty standard for a casual poke place (if you've had that before). The location is kind of weird, tucked into a building with some body art and body jewelry places amongst others. There's no seating in the restaurant, so really kind of a grab and go set up. I took my food over to the fountain in the middle of five points and enjoyed it there. The prices were reasonable and the food tasted pretty fresh all around. I got one of the pre-determined bowls (the most popular one, but I can't remember the name right now). I was not blown away, but I may be back the next time I'm in Columbia and feel like a reasonably light dinner. read more

Food was average at best. Protein options are not as fresh or diverse as Poke Bros. nor were the flavors. Appeared the sauces were all similar in that the majority were mayo based with a small variation in spice. Definitely not worth the price and would not go again. read more

My first experience with a poke bowl restaurant so I don't have anything to compare it to. Metered parking all along the side entrance. As other reviewers mentioned the outside of the building is rather bland, but it looks much better than it did a few years ago. The inside was very clean and neat. When I went to began ordering I said I didn't want any meat and she quickly gave me an 3"x11" sheet with all the allergen/meat options. The ordering process was very easy and got a great sized meal. Best poke place in Columbia! It has the most options and is the cheapest place too. Definitely my favorite place to go when I want to have a big meal but still be healthy! The spicy tuna and spicy salmon are amazing and they don't charge extra for masago or crab salad! Also, if you like spicy things they have an amazing soy based hot sauce! read more

I'm so glad this place opened up! It's just was cola needed. It satisfied my poke cravings. Looking from the out side it's hard to tell which part exactly the poke place is because the sign blends in with the building. When you step inside the interior is modern chic. I was very impressed the minute I walked in. The bright interior gave me a happy feeling when I walked in. For the food everything was good. The fish tasted fresh which alone gets the 5 star review. I loved that they had a lot of sauce options. I just wish they were more heavy handed with the toppings. They gave a teeny bit of the toppings requested so it wasn't exactly filling. I hope the quality of the fish doesn't change. Usually poke shops will have good quality fish when they first open and then use the cheap stuff when business is good. Really tasty fresh proteins (raw tuna, salmon, tofu, shrimp, etc) and fresh vegetables, sauces, and toppings over sushi or brown rice. You can also get it as a salad or wrap (kind of like a big sushi roll burrito) Really good food and a nice clean space. The only thing I wish for is a smaller portion option for kids or smaller eaters. The regular bowl is huge and you will go in to carb overload if you finish it without sharing or saving it for another meal. But, this is quickly becoming one of our go to spots when we don't want to cook and just want some good, fresh, healthy food. read more
