Name definitely does this place justice. The smoothies were very refreshing and the food was pretty good. The avocado toast wasn't as crunchy as I'd like, but they put a lot of avocado. It was delicious, so delicious I forgot to take a pic! and so was the açaí bowl. All light and filling.

My coworker asked for this today. He likes their açaí bowls. I had lentils and they were fine. They weren't the kind I can't wait to have again but they sufficed for nourishment. I think the restaurant interior needs a facelift I think it might lift the spirits of everyone who goes here

After walking all along the La Jolla coastline, I stopped by Fresheria to obtain the first part of my girl brunch: a smoothie! In an age when Erewhon makes $20 collagen smoothies, and even less upscale spots have prices in the double digits, I was relieved to find a spot that still has them for $7-8 a pop. I got the King smoothie, which had acai, pitaya, pb, banana, spinach, and almond milk. For the price, this was a great smoothie. My only complaint was that it was a tad too sweet, and that I wish more of the acai taste came through. I loved the warm, nutty aftertaste from the pb and the almond milk as it made me savor each sip. Overall, I enjoyed my smoothie, and would definitely come back next time I am in the area and craving a smoothie. The shop itself had some board games, plenty of seating and wifi, and service was polite and prompt.

I work in the neighborhood at Sports Car Company and MOKE America California and was referred to come here for coffee by the owner's brother. I came in and saw their menu, which has many vegetarian and vegan options, and was very excited since I'm a vegetarian. The food does taste fresh, and it is delicious! I have had several meals here, but my favorite is the cauliflower ceviche! I definitely recommend Fresheria for anything from the lattes to the lunch!

    Salmon Wrap

The only thing good here is the smoothies. I got the salmon wrap, which was so oily and flavorless. Couldn't even pick it up to eat it without it falling apart from the sogginess. The only thing dry about the wrap was the salmon. My boyfriend got the steak and egg burrito which was very small and had a underwhelming amount of filling. Definitely will not be ordering food from here again.

Got a gross surprise in my chicken wrap. No idea what this is. Such a strange food spot...sometimes its great but a lot of times it's awful

I know why everyone in California is thin now... Food & Gas are very expensive so every jogs/runs to their destinations while ordering coffee/smoothies as a form of sustenance lol With that said, I was already scarred on CA prices for food that I expected Fresheria to serve $15 smoothies for an 8 oz cup. I was SO wrong. We got a large amount filled with fresh & delicious ingredients. Definitely got my energy in the morning with my Brain smoothie. My man ordered some fruit bowl (can't remember the name). Everything was delicious. It was the perfect pick-me-up to start the day off of adventures! The Brain smoothie was very filling and that's coming from me, someone who loves double cheeseburgers with a chocolate shake and curly fries lol Definitely stop by this place for affordable & delicious filling food! Great spot for breakfast to go!

    Special torta is huge.

We ordered from the happy hour menu and shared a few things. I got the Quinoa Salad, while my husband ordered the Chicken & Lamb Gyro along with the Doquito. Everything was delicious. The Quinoa Salad was exactly what I wanted for a Sunday brunch: light, fresh, and not heavy on the stomach. I also appreciated getting a good serving of veggies in for the day. Then I tried some of my husband's gyro, and it was SO good. He ended up sharing some of the chicken and lamb with me, and adding it to my salad absolutely elevated the whole thing. Our server was friendly and accommodating, and the mural and overall decor gave off great vibes. We sat outside, and it was funny to watch the place gradually fill up. By the middle of our meal, the inside seating area was buzzing and the open layout felt lively and energetic. Overall, this was a great accidental find and a solid stop for a Sunday meal. At first glance, we knew we were in for a true authentic and great meal when we saw other Persians dining at the restaurant ;D Vibes: Namino shares a parking lot with other food establishments but on a Tuesday afternoon, we didn't have trouble finding a spot. The restaurant gives a mom and pop vibe, where they warmly welcomed us in. I loved that the lady gave us a bell to ring when we're ready to order. There were more than a handful of 4 person tables available inside. No outdoor seats. The guy who took our order and served our food was welcoming and our food came out within 10 minutes. Food: -Beef Koobideh Kabob ($15.95): skewer of suuuper flavorful beef served on a bed of saffron rice with a side salad and half a roasted tomato. I saw one of the reviews here that said to put sumac powder on the rice-- thank you for that! I asked for tzatziki sauce on the side and it paired well with the kabob. -Beef Kabob Sandwich ($11.95): my husband ordered this and he loved it as well. If we weren't in a hurry to catch a movie, I would've loved to try the baklava. Overall: A great authentic Persian restaurant located in La Jolla. You won't be disappointed!

Namino, located in the holiday court lot (next to the Whole Foods plaza) is a small space looking like an east coast diner. They have a small menu and don't mind if you help yourself to drinks and a seat. The owner literally just told me to shout out my order when I was ready. No nonsense, quick, and it worked well. No complaints there. Service 9/10 Fesenjoon: That day's special. This dish is phenomenal and a hefty portion. The stew itself was not shy at all about flavor; an appreciable sweetness and tart flavor coming from pomegranate, an earthy blend of spices (for sure can taste bag and cinnamon as well as toasted walnuts. I'm sure there's more) and the chicken is clearly well seasoned. The stew itself is not to thin or thick, resembling a texture slightly thicker than a Japanese style curry. The specials are served with a side salad and saffron rice. The salad is dressed with a yogurt based dressing. Light and refreshing. Nothing surprising. The saffron rice is lightly seasoned with saffron, mostly white rice. The big kicker here is tableside condiments include sumac, and that is a huge bonus. Pour a liberal amount in your rice and thank me later. Gotta love a Persian restaurant with sumac! Food 9/10. The tea served is a spiced black I believe. May be an acquired tasted for those used to English breakfast. I'll definitely be back. Namino is great for a quick lunch and the food is fantastic. Hopefully I'll be able to try more of the menu soon!

Lastly, for drinks we got a Cherry Blossom Tea (Sheer Chai). Again, it tasted like nothing I have ever ordered before, which is hard to do because we are adventurous eaters. It tasted like cream straight from the cow mixed with a cherry blossom-y and strawberry-ish Chai flavor+ black tea flavor. One of the best drinks that I have experienced in 2025 by far. For the La Jolla neighborhood and how fancy the inside feels, the prices were similar to any regular sit down restaurant. Quite the bargain for the bouquet of flavors and beautifully executed dishes that we had. I would definitely recommend them.
