Name definitely does this place justice. The smoothies were very refreshing and the food was pretty good. The avocado toast wasn't as crunchy as I'd like, but they put a lot of avocado. It was delicious, so delicious I forgot to take a pic! and so was the açaí bowl. All light and filling.

    Lentil soup

My coworker asked for this today. He likes their açaí bowls. I had lentils and they were fine. They weren't the kind I can't wait to have again but they sufficed for nourishment. I think the restaurant interior needs a facelift I think it might lift the spirits of everyone who goes here

    The King Smoothie Power

After walking all along the La Jolla coastline, I stopped by Fresheria to obtain the first part of my girl brunch: a smoothie! In an age when Erewhon makes $20 collagen smoothies, and even less upscale spots have prices in the double digits, I was relieved to find a spot that still has them for $7-8 a pop. I got the King smoothie, which had acai, pitaya, pb, banana, spinach, and almond milk. For the price, this was a great smoothie. My only complaint was that it was a tad too sweet, and that I wish more of the acai taste came through. I loved the warm, nutty aftertaste from the pb and the almond milk as it made me savor each sip. Overall, I enjoyed my smoothie, and would definitely come back next time I am in the area and craving a smoothie. The shop itself had some board games, plenty of seating and wifi, and service was polite and prompt.

    Salmon Wrap

The only thing good here is the smoothies. I got the salmon wrap, which was so oily and flavorless. Couldn't even pick it up to eat it without it falling apart from the sogginess. The only thing dry about the wrap was the salmon. My boyfriend got the steak and egg burrito which was very small and had a underwhelming amount of filling. Definitely will not be ordering food from here again.

I work in the neighborhood at Sports Car Company and MOKE America California and was referred to come here for coffee by the owner's brother. I came in and saw their menu, which has many vegetarian and vegan options, and was very excited since I'm a vegetarian. The food does taste fresh, and it is delicious! I have had several meals here, but my favorite is the cauliflower ceviche! I definitely recommend Fresheria for anything from the lattes to the lunch!

    Inedible object in my wrap

Got a gross surprise in my chicken wrap. No idea what this is. Such a strange food spot...sometimes its great but a lot of times it's awful

Great deal on tasty food without the wait at taco stand. Big portions and good pricing.

This is such a cute restaurant! It was a convenient lunch spot before heading to the cove, and had very reasonable prices, considering its quality. I got an açaí bowl to-go and my friend got the chicken teriyaki protein bowl, which were both delicious!

Ordered an açaí power bowl. It came out as soupy and lacking anything resembling an Acai Bowl. Very disappointing. Will never come back.

It was a nice ambiance to sit and enjoy your juice and coffee. We ordered quite a bit of items as we were waiting for another member of our party to meet us here. The bathroom is beautifully and nicely decorated but they are super strict about using the bathroom even if you are a customer as they had a bathroom (there is a key you have to ask for) "wanted bandit sign"apparently for vandalizing it....which I understand however When another member of our party came, we went inside and the line was so long we decided to use the bathroom before ordering more, we were in there less than 5 minutes and the owner/manager knocked and knocked, I came out and apologized and asked if she knocked. She did apologize but said other people are waiting. I ordered another juice and was going to order sandwiches and acai bowls but felt like we probably were at cafe more than an hour and out stayed our stay. I understand as a business you have to be strict about the bathroom and that is their policy however if it is a juice/coffee place your customers are bound to use the restroom several times especially if they are continuing to order. Unfortunately, It did turn me away to try the food which I actually was looking forward to as they did offer organic croissant sandwiches. We decided to just choose another place to order food. I'll have to think about returning as we are always in La Jolla for yoga.

The first thing I noticed was how clean and organized the tables were outside which was very much appreciated! When I walked inside, I was immediately greeted & was asked if I had any questions on the menu. I had some trouble deciding what I wanted and I asked Julian what he enjoyed. He gave me a couple options which included the Strawberry Glow, the Mint Chocolate Chip or the Muscle Mender. I finally decided on the strawberry glow and was very interested to see how I would like it & decided to pair with a bee sharp açaí bowl. Julian was super friendly and asked if it was my first time at the juicery. I proceeded to tell him that it was my first time in San Diego, so I was very excited to try a new place. Julian's service was very quick and efficient!! Once my items were done, he handed them off to me and I went outside to finally try my delicious breakfast :) When I tell you....HANDS DOWN the BEST breakfast I've had in a long time! Both items were extremely refreshing and delicious!! I was honestly very surprised at how well I enjoyed the avocado and dates paired in the strawberry glow smoothie. As well as how AMAZING the hazelnut spread is in the bee sharp bowl! I will DEFINITELY be back here & you should to!! Thank you so much Julian for your recommendations, quick & friendly service!

You can't really beat the refreshing taste of fresh fruit and nutty granola and butter. Especially when you can take this delectable bowl to the beach and just vibe in the sand. Wave Bowl $16 (14.50+1.50): 5/5 The bowl itself looks fairly small like, but deceptively so since I was stuffed after eating the whole thing for breakfast. It is higher cost than I would usually spend but I don't eat açaí bowls to know the average. Personally I really liked that the toppings were at the bottom and the bases were on top, not just because it was a beautiful display but because sometimes when it is the opposite, it can quickly get messy with toppings falling and dropping. The granola was crunchy and the add-on nut butter ($1.50) was plentiful and contrasted well to the fruits. You get some finely diced strawberries and bananas that were just the right amount of ripe, the bananas a little more firm but definitely preferred with the bases. The pineapple spirulina was favorite as it had a good sweetness to it. Honestly wished I could get a bowl with just this as a base and of course the natural blue color is just so unique. Coconut was coconutty and the pitaya was brightly colored, not too much distinctive taste on this one. Peak San Diego Experience

Low tide was early in the morning, so I wanted to get some breakfast first. A photo of the Ube pancakes at Blue Whale popped up on Yelp and I had to try them. First of all, Ube is the food of my people. My parents would often bring back a jar of Ube from some monastery in the Philippines. Plain Ube is pretty tasty in itself. It's funny and good to see it in different forms now. My next favorite might be Ube ice cream, and then an Ube cheesecake I had. These Ube pancakes were good, but maybe a little too sweet with the amount of syrup they put on it. If you've ever had an Ube donut, it kind of tasted like that with some syrup on top. Would I get it again? Yes, but maybe a healthy dollop of whip cream instead.

What do you know I was able to find parking in La Jolla easily. It just so happened I turned on Fay Street which is another busy street in La Jolla, and someone was backing out of their parking spot, so it was meant to be. I walked a short distance to Kline street which was the cross street of where "Blue Whale" is located. At first, I felt like I was not going to try it here because of the line of people and people everywhere outside and a long line inside the place. I decided to wait because I did not know when I would be back. When walking in, the vibe is cute, casual, and beach themed. The music is energizing and happy too. I placed my order with a friendly cashier and told her I wanted it to go because all the tables outside and inside were filled. But, someone was getting up from their table and I quickly walked over to snag the table inside. I had a cute, small table up against a window. Again, another sign I should try it. I ordered a sugar-free latte and avocado toast with an egg on top for added protein. Guess what, my food arrived in five minutes. Shannon, the manager brought it to me. I was so impressed how fast the service was and the friendliness here being so busy! She runs this place so professionally and efficiently. She is super friendly also! The rest of the staff the cashier, waitresses and waiters were also accommodating, friendly, and helpful too! Shoutout and Kudos to the chefs who create such deliciousness with the food. And, kudos to the baristas also who make such flavorful drinks. You all ROCK! The avocado toast with egg was incredible! So artistic with the presentation and the flavor was pit of this world DIVINE!
