Delicious!!!!! My family and I got some smoothies and wraps to go and they were so good! The wait was a little bit long but there was a sign that said they were short on workers that day so that probably explains it, but the wait was definitely worth it. On a vacation at Outer Banks. Was suppose to catch a boat for Dolphin tour cafe is next to it and one of the best meals of this trip. Best part we only ordered vegetarian food and it was outstanding. Must try Mushroom Burger and Coffee The owner is a great guy and very helpful. read more

Tried this place while visiting for the weekend. Staff was very friendly. View was great. I had the breakfast toast with mozzarella, tomato, pesto, tomato and balsamic. I added an egg over easy on the toast and it was delicious My husband got the blueberry pancake with hash browns, eggs and turkey sausage. He also enjoyed his. The smoothies were also delicious!! Not your meat and potatoes kind of place so my boyfriend was skeptical, but he was pleasantly surprised and also said 5 stars! He ordered the egg spinach garlic on multi-grain toast with a side of turkey sausage links. He said it was delicious and filling, and i also tried the turkey sausage and agree! I ordered the omelette and pancake platter. For my omelette i chose Turkey bacon, garlic and spinach (i did not choose a 4th ingredient and am not a cheese with my egg kind of person). For the pancake i ordered a keto blueberry. The pancake was supposed to come with a heavy whipping cream according to our waiter but the cook must not have known so it came out with nothing. I opted for syrup, as it was pretty dry without (to be expected with keto). The omelette was huge and delicious. For my side i chose energy balls, which were pretty good. They had great coffee, and i also ordered the energy juice (orange/pineapple/apple/carrot), and that was delicious. An extra egg for the boyfriend was $.50 and the coffee is supposed to be charged by the cup but we ended up getting a free refill. Friendly wait staff, delicious, filling food, yet healthy'ish. We highly recommend it, if you know going in, what your options are and aren't! And fyi, looking at their lunch menu, we will probably eat lunch there before our vacation is over! read more

It was my friends 25th birthday and we decided to get something quick to get to the beach. I placed an online order for a bacon egg and cheese at 10:25 am and go to FreshFit Cafe at 10:45. There was 3 people there all walking around and the guy working did not even acknowledge me for 10 minutes. My friend was sitting outside waiting for me to get a margarita for her. 30 minutes go by after paying and ordering my drink an at least an hour since my bagel was ordered. He tosses me my bagel and 2 drinks and I go outside AT 11:10 AM. My friend is so upset and the drinks were disgusting and absolutely no alcohol and we're watery. I opened my bagel and THERE IS NO BACON OR EGG OR CHEESE. It's literally just a bagel wrapped in foil that I waited an hour for. I go back inside and the guy said "oh we must've given yours away" I wait another 10 minutes and it's 11:30 by now and my friend that wanted a quick breakfast for her bday is now crying outside as the morning is ruined. I asked for a refund and he said no no here's your sandwich. I didn't eat it and we left our drinks on the table. The worst experience I've ever had. Save your time and money, please. read more

We found this restaurant by searching for healthy dining options in Nags Head, and we came up with a winner. The menu is totally health-oriented - don't try to order a soda here - and everything is fresh. My wife had tried all the salads and liked each once, including the house-made avocado-ranch dressing. I've had the egg white omlette and the turkey bacon wrap. Both are tasty and filling. It is a small place with only 5 tables plus the bar. We stopped for a late lunch and were amazed. The service was friendly with a couple of menu suggestions. We had the Portobello burger and the Chickpea wrap. Both were wonderful. We both sampled the beef and beet soup, it was seasoned nicely and tasted wonderful on a cool day. Also you have to have the beet and potato salad. So good we took some home. If I could give six stars this place would certainly earn every bit of them. We stumbled across this cafe one morning wanting a healthy breakfast. We started with an iced coffee and oh my god, it was so delicious. My boyfriend and I each had an omelette with hash browns and I'm fairly confident it's one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. We came here for breakfast for every day while we were staying in Nags Head. I promise there isn't another spot like this and if you enjoy breakfast toast, smoothies, coffee, or omelettes, you have to stop here. The owner is so sweet and remembered us after the first day. He had memorized our order and immediately asked if we wanted our special coffees on the second day. By the end, he knew which table we preferred and always made it a point to ask about our trip and ensure we have a safe trip back. The food, ambiance, and overall excellent service is well worth the stop here at the Freshfit Cafe. Thank you thank you for the delicious food and coffee! We will definitely be back!! read more
