After ordering I noticed a kids high chair (cloth type) over what looked like to be an ice machine. Around the corner near the bathroom was a bassinet with a box of diapers in it and on a table customers would eat at was a blanket and a onesie. [Coronavirus review] I was a bit amazed that this place was open for dine-in, with air conditioned seating indoors and a deck over the water which is where the action was. Their premise is customizable health food, and the bowl I ordered delivered tofu that tasted freshly seared along with a bevy of useful accompaniments. I was happy for the quinoa and black beans as vegetarian protein is not easy to find in the Outer Banks. Here, everything is labeled for vegan and gluten-free concerns. I saw this place had Frappuccinos and was excited to try a local shop, but if you're going there for the Frappuccinos, don't. The Frappuccino was almost 8 dollars and it was simply ice, milk and flavored powder. No coffee at all even though it's listed under the coffees. The staff was nice enough to try and fix it but honestly I should've gotten a refund because it did not taste good and was pretty expensive for what it is. read more

Great, fresh food and smoothies. So happy to have found this place not far from where we're staying. I got a tuna steak bowl and the fish was so fresh, cooked a perfect medium like I asked for. I also got the green magic smoothie and it was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and cute. The best part is the outdoor seating on the water. Wonderful place. Has a cute shop with a variety of cute stuff (stickers, jibbets, swimsuits, etc). But the smoothie bowls were great. My daughter's pancake was HUGE and she loved it! Big portions and interesting options. And the best thing is if you are gluten free, they have muffins, bagels, toast, pancakes, and banana pudding (maybe more)! I'm docking a star because, even though they had reusable utensils and paper containers, the only option they had for hot drinks were single use to go coffee cups even if you're dining in. My eggs were PERFECTION - probably farm fresh, tasted amazing. My mom also got a breakfast platter with a peanut butter pancake and veggie omelette that she would eat every day. Slightly disappointed in my choice of side - we got the fruit cup. Not a fan of previous frozen blueberries but that is on me for ordering out of season fruit. This place is sooooo good! It's right off the causeway, and located in a little strip mall right by the water. It's a charming little beach cafe with bright lighting and indoor seating. They have patio tables outside right on the water which offers an amazing view of the sound. We ordered avocado toast ( tomato, turkey bacon, parsley) and a mushroom egg white omelette along with hash browns. They did not disappoint; coming from dc where there is multiple trendy places offering just that, this was probably some of the best avocado toast I've had. The potatoes were crispy and flavored with sautéed onions which IMO, is the best. They have a good selection of breakfast and lunch items including omelettes, toasts, pancakes, smoothies, coffees, and sandwiches. I will definitely be back!
