I ordered the pancake, 2 eggs and turkey sausage. It was a windy day, about 82 and cloudy. I got my eggs scrambled and I also sat outside. I don't usually judge a book by its cover but I think I should have. Nothing special, people behind counter were nice, which does mean something, that's why I gave it a 3. I also got a 16oz coffee. It felt dirty, it was dirty, the containers they serve are cardboard and flimsy, so on a windy day you can only guess what happened. Yep, food on my lap. Picnic tables in the back looked like they have not been cleaned for a couple years. IDK. I won't be back if I can remember I didn't like it. Expensive for what I got.

Grilled Chicken Bacon Wrap w/ cucumber salad

Service was alright- very nice people. Ordered a bowl with Turkey meat, super greens, rice, cheddar, sweet potato (but they didn't add it), Brussel sprouts, carrots. With avocado ranch as the dressing. Giving it a 9/10. The turkey meat was tender and seasoned well and combination of other foods flavors very good. My husband ordered a Grilled chicken bacon wrap with cucumber salad. It had minimal flavor so it was a 6/10 for him but adding the ranch and other dressings they had, made it better. May be better on a bun (which they do offer) the ranch made that dish decent. Cucumber salad was good. We were excited to taste the Piña colada matcha smoothie as we are adamant matcha lovers. Unfortunately we were very underwhelmed. Definitely a 2/10 and for $8???? Very unfortunate. We kind of tasted the coconut but not much matcha or anything else. We'd give this place a try again. I do recommend for folks looking for a fresh and healthy alternative

Roasted chickpeas, medicinal juice, roasted potatoes.

Thank you for being here and offering excellent healthy food. You guys are perfect and do everything 10/10. Ordered roasted chickpea wrap with side of potatoes with the medicinal juice.

Yum, nutritious meals and smoothies! Fresh ingredients and vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. We stopped here for lunch to order takeout. They offer salads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, bowls, non-alcoholic and alcoholic smoothies, and more. I chose the portobello mushroom wrap with the carrot salad. The wrap was packed with veggies and just needed more dressing. The carrot salad was good and so were the smoothies. While waiting for our order we browsed their selection of local goods for sale. Overall we enjoyed our meal here and recommend this cafe to others!

Bowl with shrimp, mixed greens, feta, sweet potato, cucumber, and avocado ranch

Stopped here for a quick lunch and was definitely not disappointed. Not a full service, you order at the register and self-seat. I had a bowl and the sweet oat smoothie. The bowl was super customizable, they have a ton of options for proteins, veggies, cheese, and other toppings. Everything tasted very fresh. The smoothie was also tasty and was a very plentiful serving. My boyfriend had the chicken bacon wrap and the yogurt parfait, which he was very satisfied with, and my brother had the snickers açaí bowl; he enjoyed it but said it was not very filling. We sat outside and had an amazing view of the water! If the weather permits I would definitely recommend sitting on the deck, though they had some seating inside along with a bar. Would recommend as a cleaner food option!

Such a wonderful place to try! I am super into healthy but flavorful, garden decor, patio places and this had everything. I came on a Saturday about 1pm and the place was not busy at all. You can eat inside or outside and there are umbrellas if you like shade. The water front was beautiful so I sat outside and enjoyed the sun. The outside is beautiful for taking nice photos with the water in the background. The service was very quick. There was a guy and girl working who were very kind, helpful, and had great recommendations. The menu has many options including breakfast, lunch, smoothies, juices, etc. there is something for everyone. Even the pickiest eaters lol I got the omelette and potatoes and my friend got the omelette and pancake with apple sauce. We enjoyed our food so much. My friend also got a beet juice and the flu shot juice and said both were very good. Food came quick. We really enjoyed it. There is also a cute little shop inside that sells a few clothes, little trinkets, and doggie things. I really liked sticker wall (2 for a dollar). I think they could make cheap unique souviners. Such a 5/5 experience. I would love to come back.

Green Magic Bowl

Really like this spot! It is on the water and has a few tables outside. They have lots of gluten free and vegan options. The first time we stopped by, we got the green magic and snickers açaí bowls to go. Green magic is blended with banana, spinach, kale, mango, lime and apple. Topped with pineapple, apples, coconut, chia seeds and granola. snickers is blended with banana, oats, peanut butter, chocolate and almond milk. Topped with banana, chocolate, energy balls and caramel drizzle. The second time we sat at the cafe and we ordered the tiramisu açaí bowl and the refreshing smoothie. The tiramisu bowl is blended with espresso, banana, oats, chocolate, and oat milk. Topped with banana, chocolate granola, coconut and cocoa powder. Refreshing smoothie had Mango, ginger, apple, pineapple, carrot & o.j Everything we ordered was super refreshing and tasted great! Definitely would stop by again. Great way to start the morning

Off the hook yummy avocado toast with egg!
Rebecca P.

Off the hook avocado toast with egg and wonderfully salty turkey bacon! Loved loved loved it! My fiancé breaks: pancake w blueberries and home fries with turkey bacon wasn't great. His turkey bacon was crispy as he liked it but also burnt. The home fries were tasty but again they burnt some of it way too much.

Pancake and turkey bacon

Service was quick with a big menu. Woman taking our order was definitely lacking customer service skills. Got our order to go and didn't realize until we were already home that they did not give the açaí bowl we order. Pancakes and bacon were tasty. The pancakes were large and very thick so keep that in mind when ordering. Coffee was old and burnt, but the iced chai was good.

There are plenty of photogenic spots both inside and outside, lots of seating, and several fun areas to explore. Be sure to check out the outdoor seating, the small side shop, and especially the seating area hidden inside the large tree. The café feels more like an experience than just a coffee stop, and I enjoyed wandering around the property almost as much as sitting down with my drink. As for the menu, I found the food and drinks a bit overpriced for the quality. I ordered a matcha latte with pumpkin cheesecake flavoring, but unfortunately could barely taste any flavoring aside from the oat milk. That said, I think Cafe Davina's biggest strength is its atmosphere rather than its food. It's a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or take photos, and I'd be willing to come back and give other menu items a try.

I have been going for the past year, and they are consistent every time. Recently we went as a family. The vibe was amazing as usual. Warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming. The staff? Always incredible. They're genuinely friendly, super attentive, and their recommendations never miss. Now the FOOD. We ordered a mix of sweet and savory, and every single item delivered: The peach pecan streusel crêpe was pure comfort warm, buttery, and perfectly balanced with that sweet, nutty crunch. I usually get extra caramel drizzle. The French toast crêpe. Imagine your favorite brunch classic leveled up into something soft, rich, and absolutely indulgent. The Nutella and banana crêpe is a crowd pleaser, especially for kids. It's creamy, chocolatey, and just the right amount of sweetness. The turkey, goat cheese, and avocado panini brought the savory side. The flavor was great, and came with kettle chips. The drinks were just as fun and unique. The butterfly pea flower lemonade, was not only refreshing but visually stunning. We also got the mango soda and a blueberry soda, both bursting with flavor and kid approved. Everything about Café Davina just hits right. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the people. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel good, and then leave already planning your next visit. Our family of 5 dropped by in the early afternoon on a Wednesday. We were warmly greeted, seated and made to feel comfortable and at home. The decor is simple and cute. Several tables are constructed of old doors, decorated and covered with glass. Many other artistic and creative decorative touches highlight this cute cafe. There is a good selection of beer, wine and specialty drinks as well as a great assortment of soft drinks. The menu has a wide selection of apps, sandwiches and salads (all unique and intriguing) I am a guy who enjoys a great burger from the great selection. I ordered the "Double Ringer Burger" and added bacon. I just found the best burger that I ever had! Two perfectly seasoned burgers were seared on both sides and perfectly pink in the middle. They were served on a tasty brioche bun with three deep fried onion rings and highlighted with a special sauce. All of the selections chosen by our group earned great reviews from my family. I love this area of the city - feels a little small town/a little suburban. I have the coffee passport and was excited to try this new-to-me spot. Mudita sits just off Ocean View Ave practically on the beach. On this visit, there was ample street parking, but I dare say it is tricky on weekends and during the summer. It is in a pedestrian-friendly area, which is a plus, so it's easy to walk to. They do make a point to remind you not to park in the lot belonging to the adjacent shopping center or risk being towed. When I stopped in, it was empty except for one table. I let them know this was my first visit and the staff was happy to tell me about seasonal specials. They have a variety of teas and coffees. I do wish they had a sample of their food menu where they take orders. I didn't notice it until I picked up my drink, so I'll have to return when I have more time to peruse it. For my first visit, I wanted to try a seasonal special drink and opted for the Vietnamese Egg Coffee. It was described as an Americano style drink with egg custard foam. They offer decaf which is a plus so I selected this. It was ready in about 5 mins and was absolutely delicious. The only downside was the size. I wasn't expecting an espresso sized beverage for the price, but probably because I'm used to a Starbucks Americano which is bigger (even for a tall) and has slightly more hot water. The flavor was impressive and I much prefer the espresso Mudita uses! Overall, a great experience. I don't often venture out to OV, but I'll definitely stop back in when in the area!
