This restaurant serves really good sushi and love the coffee chillas we went about three times and the food is consistent and the waiters are quick. Would go back

while the service was really nice I didnt like that this place charges an assumed 18% tip with the meal. this rubs me the wrong way with service and I likely would have tipped 20% but knowing this is something they do, I didnt like it. The food was pretty good. Overall for 2 was about $100 bucks with an appetizer , a sushi roll, a burger, and another entree. I thought that was a bit steep. Great atmosphere but the quality of the sushi here charging $18-$22 per roll, is missing the mark considerably. very pricy and deceiving from the outside.

Bad service !!!!!! Bad service. Let me say it again. Bad Service. !!!! Food is really Good , but over priced ! I knew it when I looked at the grilled Bronzino with rice for 36$ ? That's a high end resturant prices. But it was good. Not a good portion thought. And the poke was just ok we also like it but it was super cold ! Need attention to Sevice ! Veggies soup came after I complained 20 Min after I order it !? Really and then it came With the main dish in the same time. Again Service need to be over looked ! I wouldn't return !

I see why they have 3 stars . Mary my cashier lacked enthusiasm or salesmanship. I walked asked if they accepted Google pay (since it says tap here and pay here at register) She looked at me and said no. I asked why does it say tap here pay here, she says only apple pay. I think to myself I guess only apple customers can come here. I then said can we just try and see since I knew it would work if apple pay was accepted. Ive never been here adjrd ger to recommend something she just placed a menu on the counter I than placed an order for passion mango smoothie and oatmeal cookie. Simple right You would think ! But no I had to wait for Mary to finish conversation with the whole crew about somebody wanting her number . So sorry I disturbed her during her conversation.

Easily one of the best kosher meals I've ever had! We started off with the crunchy spicy tuna roll, which was fantastic. Tuna was fresh and presentation was very nice. Moved on to the tuna burger that came with a pretzel bun, ordered it medium rare and it came out great. It was still amazing. All the while, I had the "mango Pilates" smoothie...not the most masculine thing I've committed to in my life but well worth the risk! Haha, truly it was delicious. My wife went with pappardelle pasta with mushrooms. The waiter, Andrés, was beyond helpful. Great energy and he was very honest about all the selections. He let us know that because the pappardelle is made with vinegar and white wine so some people don't like the taste. We decided to give it a chance and thank G-d we did! This was the best pasta dish I can remember having. Decided we couldn't leave without dessert. Andrés recommended the dulce de leche cheesecake. Personally, I'm not a fan of cheesecake, BUT dang. It's good. My wife LOVED it. Absolutely phenomenal. Big thank you to Andrés and the rest of his team at Fresko for giving us one of the best meals we've had in a while. We'll most certainly be back soon! Do yourselves a favor, give Fresko a chance and I think you'll be happy with your choice. Ask for Andrés and get ready for a great time.

Open about two months ago, Fresko; a kosher spin on the health bar idea is located next door to Heavy Burger on NE 29th Avenue, in the back part of the Loehmann's Fashion Island extension. Fresko offers a variety of things from smoothies, salads, wraps, pizzas, and desserts to even breakfast. With the exception of Friday; closes at 3:00pm, and being closed on Saturday in observance of the Sabbath, Fresko is open the rest of the days until 8:00pm; 9:00pm on Sundays. Upon our entering, we were greeted right away by the friendly staff; that is very knowledgeable of the menu. The atmosphere of Fresko; to quote an Outkast song is..."so fresh and so clean." Bright with some earthy tones, and a continuous lounging house track, Fresko welcomes you to bask in its being the minute you walk through the door. Today, I and my two girl friends ordered the Pressata Caprese, Mediterranean pizza and the Tuna Avocado wrap. I also had to have one of their smoothies as its ingredients caught my eye...the Green Lemonade with basil and mint leave infusion. WOW! a tad tart; how I like it, but with a fragrance so fantastic; mint and basil, that this smoothie could serve as a palate cleanser in between courses easily. When our food came everything looked so fresh, but the colors unexpectedly jumped right off the plate at you, especially the Mediterranean pizza. Each bite was more delicious than the last as you always tasted some different ingredient within the item, as they all came together like Voltron as you continued. It was a little lunch excursion well worth it, and I know we will be returning.

The turn in is a bit awkward, but there parking lot was pretty much empty at that time (and completely full by the time we left). I do not have a large car and the spots are super narrow. If you drive a truck, I would not try to park in the inner lot in front of the entrance. The place is clearly LGBT friendly; kudos for the pride flags out front. I immediately felt like I was walking into a hipster cafe in Cali. You order and pay inside; get a table number and the bring your food and drinks out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the secret pita and golden latte. Service was relatively quick. Drink came then food shortly after. I totally wasn't thinking when I got the golden latte. It was a bit warm outside for a hot latte but I wanted to try something unique. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it. It came with granola on the dish. Not sure if you are supposed to throw it in. The squirrels and birds ended up eating mine. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife that was not shy. The squirrel was literally eating out of my hand and would have sat on our table if my friend allowed it. The bird flew in and did just that though. Came back for seconds a few times. Then as the place got busier, they must have gone off to bother others. As an animal lover, this was a fun perk but may be a turn off to some. The presentation for the pita was unexpected. I had to open a the box to get to my meal. You can choose how the egg is cooked. I went with the default sunny side up. The chorizo hit. Hummus was ok. Kind of bland. I didn't care for olives and picked the fruit off my dessert pita. Felt like I had enough pita carbs by the time I got to it. The ambiance was mostly peaceful. They do play music which was on the border of getting too loud. Coffee was pricy but all coffee is now. The food was also on the high end. This would be a major factor on whether to come back. I don't recall anything unique on the menu aside from the pita. The menu appears to change seasonally though.

Steak & eggs and the Untoasted breakfast + side of ham. The screwdriver had an odd taste & the ham was extremely soft/squishy/seemed uncooked internally. The steak was not cooked well- but acceptable enough to eat. Our server never checked on us after we got our food which sucks because we needed a few things. A different server ended up walking by much later and asked if we needed help which is when I told her I'd like to send back the ham and screwdriver- both of which I barely took a bite/sip out of. I just told her I didn't like them and she got a bit of an attitude and wanted specifics as to why I didn't like it. I just reiterated i didn't like it and won't be consuming either so please take it back. The elegance, the fresh roses, and the smart blend of modern and art deco styles immediately sets a romantic mood whether you're there for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Second, the food. Under the leadership of Chef Gianluca, he brings to life a variety of delicious Mediterranean inspired dishes. I tried the tuna tartar, the eggplant Parmesan, and the crispy shrimp as appetizers. That was followed by a homemade pasta dish that was perfectly al dente and amazing. As a main dish, I tried the filet mignon with truffles and mushrooms. But, as good as the meal tasted, however, the freshly made pistachio gelato served on a frozen stone for dessert was a show stopper. But, the ambiance and the food could not be outmatched by the stellar service. Our server Damaris, and her team added to the attention to detail that the ambiance and the food demanded and accomplished by the exemplary service on par with any Michelin starred restaurant. The service is slow and confusing, the food is underwhelming and I believe it is overpriced for the overall experience and quality. First, with the service - we always wait a long time to be served and when we do there are always drinks or requests missing. Today we asked for 4 waters in addition to our drinks and we had to ask twice more throughout the meal for the additional 2 waters to be brought. We were served our food with no cutlery or napkins and when I asked for it they sent over a manager more than 5min later as our food got cold. Regarding the food- it's definitely Instagram worthy for the most part but the flavor is underwhelming. I ordered the Croque Madame and it came missing the bechamel sauce, when I asked the server where it was/ if I could have more he insisted multiple times that that was not part of the dish... the bechamel sauce is what makes it a croque Madame. The flavor of the pancakes was grainy and dry, and despite ordering a decaf cappuccino my cappuccino was definitely not decaf. At the end of the meal both times we've been recently been, they show us the total on the screen but not the break down of the meal and try to scam you into adding additional tip without disclosing that there is already a service charge included. I'm not against tipping on top of the service charge if the experience is good! But in this case it was not warranted. While the concept is cute and they tried with the decor and vibe it's just missing the mark for me. I will not be returning.

Julie caught wind of this and immediately swooped in. The menu is pricey but I assumed that the portions would make up for it. This assumption was correct, but my food's presentation was the equivalent to what you'd serve a dog. I ordered the egg salad club with a side of fries; if you're searching for an establishment that cooks with love just leave. The egg salad was unseasoned and I'm unsure that half-smashed boiled eggs constitutes as egg salad. The fries were piled on top as if a tired teenage McDonald's worker was cooking it up in the back. My partner also agreed that their tuna melt was unseasoned. As we were leaving we decided to take a peek at the baked goods. In a final attempt to give this place the benefit of the doubt, we eyed a delectable looking chocolate chip cookie. I called over the employee behind the bakery counter to which she begrudgingly trudged on over. I took another look at the display to solidify what I wanted, but I noticed something unappetizing. FLIES. Not one fly, multiple flies having their way with the baked goods. We told her never mind and left the establishment. Never again will I step foot in this atrocity.

The owner has been arguing with customers, and it made it very uncomfortable, especially when I went to go pick up my order because once it was my turn, there was no customer service to be given. Just awkward silence. I was so uncomfortable I left not realizing I got one out of my two bags. I didn't even return. Wasn't worth tuning back to then become one of the victims to be yelled at. Based on the condition and appearance of the food, something is clearly not right. This place shouldn't be operating.
