We only had the sushi here so my rating is specifically for their sushi. Kosher sushi is known for nt being the greatest but this goes beyond gross. The rice was like pudding, I am not sure how fresh the fish was. The rolls were just not good. The price was ridiculously high, $90 for 2 rolls, 1 salad, 1 tartar and one other dish ... It just doesnt make sense. I dont think we will ever go back, I am grossed out just thinking about it. read more

I recommend the goat cheese salad that came with caramelized pecans and the Fresko mix of greens. If you want to have a smoothie, Fresko has a very nice list. The food came on time but I wasn't even good, very bland and I didn't see the pineapple chutney it said it came with. We went to Fresco just because it was there and we were going to a show at the Aventura Arts Center right down the street after lunch. We were not looking for anything Kosher. The environment is casual-trendy and insinuates a health food kind of place. The restaurant was busy. It appeared that all of the patrons were Orthodox Jews, including a good number of children. The menu was, to me, not particularly appetizing. Almost every item said "raw" salmon or other fish, and it was mostly sushi, wraps and salads. I ordered Fettuccine with Salmon and Artichoke, one of only about three dishes that seemed to be a hot meal. The waitress brought us chips and a dip while looking at and talking to other patrons. She was nice enough, but she had never checked back with us after serving, and the food took a considerable amount of time to be served- not a long time- but longer than usual in most restaurants, and we were wondering about it while waiting. Not all the dishes were served to us at the same time, and I had to wait long enough for mine that my companions were just about done with theirs. I do not like that. The chips served were warm, but they were exactly the same as one would buy in a crinkly bag at the supermarket. They did not at all appear to be made in the restaurant. The dip, however, was a "black olive dip," and it was disgusting. It tasted like mud. My companions got Empanadas, which were deep fried and served in a mini metal frier, and sushi, which was, well, sushi. My fettuccine was extremely bland. That was the first time in my entire life that I have ever added salt from the salt shaker to an entree at a restaurant. The artichoke, the salmon and the pasta and sauce were almost completely flavorless. There was an herb sprinkled on the food, but it was only parsley. Fresco was not a disaster for us, but It was not special, not especially fun, and the food was not alluring. The pizza served to the table next to us looked great (I'm not a pizza fan), but the patrons at that table told us that when they had ordered, they were advised by the server that the restaurant was then OUT OF PIZZA! It wasn't even 1pm then. Good luck with Fresco. I think it's popular with Kosher patrons. For me, the meal was entirely unsatisfying. Fresko is my go-to fish/dairy restaurant. In fact, as of this writing, I've been there almost every day the past month. The sushi is among the freshest I've ever had. My favorite dishes are sushi pizza(Salmon), cheese ravioli in pink sauce(I alternate with cream sauce), tuna steak, sea bass, any of their incomparable cheesecakes, and much more. If you're looking for great Kosher food, Fresko is the way to go! Friendly staff and reasonable prices rounded out a fabulous lunch experience. I had the salmon roll and the tiger roll. The fish and vegetables were extremely fresh and flavorful. The person I was with had the tuna salad wrap, which was also very good without being smothered in mayo. My only complaint is that the seating was a bit crowded; would not like to be elbow-to-elbow next time. Although, it's a good sign that this awesome place is getting noticed! What's the difference between a coffee and a cappuccino? After ordering a coffee and specifically saying "not a cappuccino", we received a fancy looking drink but assumed that was their version of an American coffee. Sadly, when asking for the free refill that the menu directly states we're entitled to, we were met with an extremely rude waitress saying that cappuccinos don't get free refills and brought another cappuccino and charged for 2 cappuccinos instead of one coffee and a refill. We confronted the waitress and she ignored our request and instead went over to her manager and proceeded to tell on us and point at our table making us feel completely uncomfortable. All for a stupid cup of coffee! We also requested that a birthday cake come with a candle lit for our friend, and after her long conversation with her manager, the waitress did not bring us our cake but rather rudely handed us our bills and walked away. She then had someone else come collect our bills and refused to deal or even look at our table again. On a better note, the food was incredible however, unless ordering to go I would never step foot back into that shit show of a restaurant unless they do something about their staff and treat their paying customers with respect! Have a weird version of sushi. Got a hot blob of Kani tossed in the middle of my sushi roll presentation. Spicy tuna had a blob of spicy tuna on top of each piece. Salad dressing had a weird aftertaste. Not coming back again. Plus it's way overpriced. read more

Went for an early dinner with my wife and three young children. The waitstaff was friendly and professional. Our waiter was accommodating and nice to our kids, which we don't always see. The options for kids are limited -- pizza and pasta -- but the pizza was very good with generous portions and my kids really enjoyed it. We ordered sushi rolls and an appetizer. The fish was of good quality, and the rolls were pretty good, although not mind-blowing. The roll menu is somewhat limited if you don't like tempura-style rolls. The appetizer (spicy tuna tartar) was very good. The decor is upbeat and clean, and I've had good and interesting salads there on their lunch menu. Prices aren't bad for this kind of menu and portions at a kosher restaurant. The fish entrees sound excellent. I'm looking forward to trying them. read more

I was there today to get something to drink, i ordered 3 drinks and only got 2. When the waiter came over with just two drinks i thought he was still making the third one. after a few minutes i asked where the third drink was and he said you didnt order anything else and i said yes then he said no so i decided to get the check instead of getting into an argument with the guy (he was very rude). when he brought the check the tip was included and i was not going to pay a tip for someone that made me wait outside and all he (served me ) was juice.... i am all for giving tips when people deserve it and i tip 18% depending on the service usually from 10% if its crap and 18% or more when its good.... this guy got zero. he told me he didn't need my jewish money... i am not jewish although the place was full of jewish people. shame on you! read more

I ordered Fresko via Uber Eats. For starters my promo didn't apply, but I'll have Uber assist with that. I ordered the black tail tilapia wrap with house fries. The fish, tasted fishy and I literally spit out the food back in the bag and threw it out. The portion was tiny!!! I honeslty can't believe people would order that dish. If that;s on the "high-end" of their meals, then wow. The food was tiny and tasted very not fresh. When I say I will never go back to this place, I mean it. Was such a disappointment (and embarrassing experience) when you bring relatives that are not kosher to a place hoping it will be a normal nice experience and it is so substandard. The problem is clearly management because when the problems were brought to his attention he could care less and was even unpleasant. We went for breakfast (were going to bring a large group for dinner too because the menu looked good but cancelled our plan.) Don't have time to write everything but will point out the French toast described on the menu was a bad looking plate of two pieces of white bread sliced on the usual diagonal that were not toasted well so it tasted like two pieces of white bread. No bananas or any fruit on top. Two small leftover pieces. So it was $12.00 for two pieces of white bread basically. The eggs served to others were cold by the time they brought them so all around a bad experience. Let me start by saying that this is my first review on Yelp. I felt compelled to open an account when I ate here. I came with my husband and 2 little kids. The service is impeccable and by that I mean, overly friendly and kind, and fast service. Just a few minutes after we ordered, our food was out on the table. The food itself was really good, amazing pizza almost like a fried pita heavily loaded w cheese... The menu itself is average size, some pasta dishes, fish, pizza and only a few salads, big sushi menu. We did not order sushi as that had been our go to too often this week, so I can't review that but it did look good. Service was great, friendly and quick. And the food was locked clean. Absolutely delicious and decent sized portions.

No kids menu, so it is definitely not a family oriented place. Pizzas are made with goat cheese, which generally children do not like, there were not other options for children so one child left without dinner. Super expensive for the tiny portions served, vegetables were bland and overcooked. Padded bill as we came with a groupon offer, and thought they could make up for the difference adding an extra meal never ordered nor served, bill had to be sent back for review and no one seemed surprised. To top this off an 18% gratuity was added to the check. The menu does not indicate that you are forced to pay 18%, even if you are unhappy with the service. If that is their policy it should be posted somewhere in the restaurant. I expected to treat my kids visiting from out of town to what was supposed to be a nice low key neighborhood restaurant and it turned out to be a very expensive disaster.
