I had an excellent experience at this Friar tux location. So I flew in for a wedding but wasn't able to try on the tux until Thursday evening just three days prior. Danny helped me out with fixing my tight pants issue the following day and I was confident I would look good as a groomsman for my friend's wedding. It's difficult to send your measurements from a different state but do your best with what you know and they could adjust accordingly. Without a jacket get the neck measurement and waist right. The staff were very friendly and understanding of the situation which made the experience much more enjoyable. It's been a while since I have been to Friar Tux but I would definitely recommend their styles for any event. They can certainly help with color coordination, fitting, and style. read more

So I stopped by yesterday 9/23 at around 6pm. It was Thursday which meant a lot of people were there to pick up their rentals. I did see someone write a review complaining about how there were only 2 people working which was also the case yesterday. However, I'm not upset by that. I don't know the gentleman's or the woman's name, however, they were on it! Yes there was a wait, which is to be expected when there's a lot of people. Could there be more employees? Sure? But how is it the two peoples fault. If you get upset or even complain about that to them then you have no consideration. They were working very hard as a team. One did one thing then the other did another thing. They were going as fast as they could while still making sure everyone was happy with the way the suits fit. They are hard working people that care about the service they deliver and did everything they could to assist people as fast as they could. That, I can appreciate! read more

I was tasked with purchasing ties and pocket squares for a choral group. I was directed to Shanti at the warehouse in Anaheim. I cannot say enough about her professionalism and patience while I went back and forth with our director deciding on the "right color " red - she sent texts photos and answered all my questions. After they were ordered I asked if she could send them to the Laguna Niguel store and it was not a problem. Finally, I was up in that neck of the woods and stopped in a few days after we spoke to meet her and finish up billing info. She was not in but the staff (Cody) at Anaheim retail could not have been more helpful and polite. Her responses to me contact were always quick and helpful. Came here on a Sunday afternoon. The place was very easy to find because they have big signage out front and parking was also easy to find. We had an appointment at 3 pm with a total of 7 of us. It took a little while to get us started but once we got going everything went very smoothly. The majority of us were able to get measured and purchase our suits the same day which was great because it meant no extra trip back. The prices for the suits are between 180-200, a little extra if you get the vest. Also if you check in you get a free tie with the purchase of a suit. It took about an hour and half from arrival to the time we paid and got our suits. I'm sure if it were a smaller group or just one individual you'd be out of there a lot faster. Customer service was pretty helpful. Don't buy many suits but when I need one again I'll he stopping by here again. read more

After having a terrible experience at Men's warehouse we made an appointment at Friar Tux in Anaheim and we were lucky enough to have Danny help us out. We went in there not really knowing what we wanted.. Danny was very patient with us, and showed us all different colors and styles that he felt would go best with our venue, bridesmaids dresses, and even decorations. He knew what he was doing. When you want to get your tuxedo, you want convenience and the staff who are ready to get you on your way and think about whats more important. Your Wedding Day! I go try on some Class A Tuxedos at Friar Tux Shop in Anaheim. Located off the I-5 North Freeway Exit at Katella Ave and continuing on to Anaheim Way, swerving to the right onto S. Claudina Way, you will find to your right, Friar Tux. When my, then fiance, now wife and I arrived, we didn't have an appointment to get pricing. We were greeted by Melissa. The building is huge, but the customer area is very small. The reason why the building is so grand: Its the distribution and warehouse for all SoCal Friar Tux Shops. You will see vans in the lot and will find some few spots to park in. You may have to park on the street if you cannot locate any. It seemed too packed inside. I didn't feel comfortable trying on a tuxedo with many others in plain sight in a small room. However, later on, I would find out that there are many other locations that I can get fitted and picked up the tuxedo from. Melissa will gather your preliminary information from the Wedding Date to the style of the tuxedo that you will be wearing. They have specials going on year round and will lock in the price when you are ready to get sized and pay for yourself and/or groomsman. What exactly did I reserve?! I wanted to get the best. I saw the Michael Kors Tuxedo Collection. I booked that and put that in the system. I included the party members who will need to be sized up. There are plenty of locations to choose from. If there was no Friar Tux Locations, you could e-mail the form to your party member to have sized up and submit online. Unfortunately, I did not get sized here or got my tuxedo at the Anaheim Location. Putting me at a dilemma on, if I should finish my review here or at the Laguna Hills Location. The Anaheim Location collected my information. However, I have contacted them many times before for additional information and left the voicemails, but they do not call back. Thus going to the Laguna Hills had a MUCH better service than their main office. I will post the photos of the final product since it came from the Anaheim Warehouse. When we picked-up clothing for the wedding, however, we found the employees mostly disinterested in helping us on making sure that items fit well. I just had a bad experience going in for my son. We called the morning of asking if they had time for us to try on a suit for our toddler, they did so we showed up and she knew who we were! She offered the "Big room" for us since we have a fussy toddler with us and wanted to get him comfortable. My husband had to take our toddler outside to walk around to calm him down since we didn't wanna disturb the other customers. I have been waiting inside for about 20 minutes for the "big room" which is ok, the problem was when a man and two kids come in and they got to use the "big room" while we have been waiting before for longer with a toddler whose fussy and we wanna get in and out. I told her we are gonna leave because we were next in line waiting for the big room and they gave it to someone else. I'm so disappointed and furious this was the experience we had! No solution at all. No consideration for us at ALL! I will never come back here. Unfortunately we already have them some of our business with some groomsmen getting there tux's here.
