Frickers is a local watering hole if you are local to one of it's many locations. The Centerville location, in my opinion, is one of the nicer spots. A good beer selection, craft and domestic drafts as well as many bottles. A good sized menu of typical bar food (burgers, wings and fries). All is good, not great, but good. Called to inform restaurant directly at 10:40 pm on 7/31/2020, that our DoorDash order was delivered soggy and missing the jalapeños so we were unsatisfied. Upon hearing my complaints hostess was nonchalant about food being delivered incorrectly. I was informed that unless you specifically specify they will send things such as chili cheese fries, and nachos with toppings already on them leaving you disappointed with cold, soggy, and sad food. Then was asked if "anything else was wrong" (I guess my complaint was not enough to warrant any other response) and if I would like to speak to the manager. I told the girl no and to pass my message along but we will see if that's actually done. If you are looking for good, prompt, and common sense involved service you can go not far down the road to roosters and have a much better experience. Nacho cheese tasted like it was from a gas station convenience store. I asked for no onion- but- they had it topped with a huge pile anyway! I told the server and she took them back. The worst thing about this place is the service. Seat yourself.... and then wait 15 minutes before anyone even takes your drink order. No, they weren't busy. Also, they charge you for every. Single. Sauce. Mustard? Extra charge. I don't appreciate getting charged for a sauce for something that's supposed to come with it. Wings - no dipping sauce. You have to pay. Quesadilla - supposed to come with sour cream. It did not. When I asked for my sour cream, I got charged. Not to mention, after asking for the sauces, it took 10 minutes to get them. The name sounds funny. Like you are trying to be nice while cursing. But the food is delish. I dont eat chicken wings so cant comment on that. But do eat almost everything else. And they have just about everything else you could want. From appetizers, to burgers, boneless chicken, to steak. I had the boneless chicken and it was nice and juicy and the bun was fresh. Threw many a wings and drums in my days 1990's at the old location off 741 in Moraine, sad to see the joint go, but with the way things were keep up back then it was only a matter of time before it burnt to a crisp. Both the kicker and teriyaki wings were not nearly as good as before. The teriyaki were burnt and really dry. We ordered early afternoon, way before the New Year's Eve rush. The last few times I was here I was completely ignored by my servers. You could feel the cold air blowing out of the 'furnace' ducts overhead.Our server said they keep it cold inside (why? to keep the beer cold longer or to make your hot food cold before you can finish it?) We didn't stay, we went to a burger place close by and had a nice hot burger without cold air blowing onto us from the overhead HVAC vents. I mentioned to one of the burger place employees about Frickers being cold and he said he was there the night before and it was cold then also. We Love Frickers been going for years. But we as a group we have a major complaint. a manager at College Hill store threatend and fired a good worker because someone bought her kids in at after she was off and fired her stating her kids are not suppose to be there. Well there were other race kids sitting there also and we took pictures and have several witness. he told her she was fired in front of all the customers when she done nothing wrong. he states she cursed him when we asked him about it and it was a LIE we were right there he kicked 6 little babies 4 and under out when they did not get their coats off yet. Then after he forced her out the door she tried to come back in to get her 3 year old son and he would no let her and threatend again.
