We stopped here for lunch recently and it was good. The big boy burger and chicken sandwich were tasty. My daughter enjoyed her breakfast for lunch. The chocolate shake was tasty. Service was good. I feel like the employees were angry with each other. Worth checking out as it is a great value for your money.

I was a little hesitant when I saw how busy it was, but Betty Jo greeted me immediately despite that. I was seated in a comfortable booth. She took my drink order (vanilla Coke) and left me with the menu to peruse. When she returned with my drink, she asked my name. That's such a nice touch and something that rarely happens anymore. She has called me Kirk every time she's swung by the table. She also made sure that my order was absolutely correct. This is not her first day, you can tell. (Actually, she informed me she's been doing this for 13 years. She's definitely a pro.) I told her I might be interested in dessert; she brought me the check with the caveat that she could add dessert anytime. But my favorite touch is that attached to the bill is a post-it note that says "Shine Your Light." The food was good and hot. The vanilla Coke remains one of the best beverage options anywhere in the city. But when I come back, it'll be for the exceptional service. Betty Jo is a treasure.

Excellent service by Betty Jo! We were seated promptly, and she was very kind. She seemed to have a lot of tables, but she was hustling! She made sure our drinks were refilled, and she left a kind note on our receipt. The food was also very good. The pancakes were very buttery and well-sized. I ordered the three stack but probably only needed two. My dad got the Big Boy Meal and throughly enjoyed it. Nice place and good atmosphere. Would definitely come again.

The food is always good. The service is either great or mediocre. Best vanilla Pepsi in town!

We had a reservation for two and for some reason they sat us directly next to the loud kitchen. Entire building open and we got bad seats just baffles me. The prime rib carpaccio was basically lunch meat with arugula. We liked the crispies but overall it's not something we really enjoyed and would not order again. It would have been better served on toast maybe. This was something we'd never had before and did not know what to expect so that's on us. 22 oz ribeye and potatoes are ok, a lesser version of sotto. steak was crisped well, not as much fat as usual which i liked. the crispy lasagne was ok. sauce is a tad spicy which was fine. kitchen manager or head chef came out to speak with us and he was very friendly. our server was Jenna. espresso martini - great, done well with strong espresso flavor and foam on top the red borough - very good, comparable to a manhattan blueberry spritz - very fruity, easy drinker s'mores was ok but honestly could do without the ice cream The ambiance is nice, very cute and clean. chairs were different and comfortable! Overall, it was ok. Not one of our top ranked places in cincy.

The carbonara croquettes were SO TASTY. The bianca bolognese was an interesting twist on a classic. The s'more's dessert was very good, but very rich, so sharing would be perfect. We'd love to go back'

It took about a minute. I entered the restaurant, and there were only 4 people in there with TWO waitresses. I ordered a cheeseburger platter, burger fully loaded. Normally, this would mean lettuce, onion and tomato. I got my food home and found my fully loaded burger had one small piece of lettuce and a LOT of mayonnaise. That was it. The accompanying cole slaw had been cut so small it was as if it was riced, and swimming in mayonnaise. It was inedible. I paid 13 dollars for this, and I wound up giving my burger to my dog. This restaurant is going downhill fast and I'm tired of throwing good money away, as this is more than the 10th time I've gotten bad food there. Done. Won't be going back.

One of those complete game-changer decisions I'm so thankful for. This was a blast from the early 80s, late 70s!!!! No joke, it immediately smelled like cigarettes when I came in. It was like literally walking through a time warp. Yellow/tan decor with all stainless steel diner facilities and everything. But, let me stress how impressed I was with the cleanliness. When I first came in, the cook came out with an industrial size container of fish fry mix and asked me to help him open it. That thing about ripped my skin off! It took 3tries AND he had to hold the container while I twisted the lid. ...but the point is I was quickly taken back to a time where people weren't afraid to speak to complete strangers. I ordered an egg salad sandwich and 2containers of broccoli/cheese soup to go to go on top of my grilled chicken sandwich:) I WILL be returning to Pepper POD whenever I come back to northern Kentucky (Cincinnati) area. Thank y'all!
