We popped in for a quick bite and I was amazed at how big the portions were. The offerings of food are quite unique as can be seen with the pepper jam on top of eggs and the breakfast burrito being served with a sweet chili sauce. We also got the mimosas which use rhinegeist bubbles rather than champagne and they were quite the hit. There's probably about 7-8 tables and one server, so don't be surprised if you have to wait a little bit because every table was full but it went quickly! I love the take they have on breakfast and lunch food. They take the existing things that we all cherish and find a way to either make them better, make them different, elaborate on them, whatever have you! I had the Portobello Benny which was basically just their way of making a delicious eggs benedict with mostly vegetables and mushrooms. But instead of using English muffins it was more like ciabatta bread. Still so delicious! Covered in good cheese with eggs and vegetables. Was thoroughly good! My friend had The breakfast Club Panini which he said was pretty good and it also came with chips. Service was very friendly and even though they had messed up, they corrected themselves quickly and made sure that he was served the correct thing. I already can't wait to go back to Bellevue Bistro! The food was incredible. I had the Fette Sau breakfast bake, with eggs and potatoes and several different meats. While we were waiting for a table we saw multiple bakes come out and they all looked so delicious. Our service was also great - there was only one waitress and she did a great job taking care of everyone's orders. The only draw back to this place is that it's very tiny. There's maybe 10 tables in the whole place. We got lucky and only had to wait a few minutes for a table, but there's a chance when you get there you won't be able to sit for a while. There's not much of a waiting area either. This was our second attempt to go, since the first time there was no tables and there were 3 other parties ahead of us. I hadn't been here in over a decade, so I decided to take my son for breakfast on my day off work. It wasn't busy, being a Monday morning, which was nice. You get three large hunks of freshly (appearing to deep fried) French toast, dusted with powdered sugar, fruit, and syrup. I had the peanut butter caramel bourbon sauce option and my son had the chocolate with berries. The establishment isn't very big, but perfect for groups up to 4...maybe one group a little larger. A cozy bistro on a lively street gave a great vibe for a weekday brunch. The seating area was small but had a decent amount of seats. The staff were very friendly as well. The portobello Benedict skillet was great! The pesto and sautéed mushrooms took it over the top and added so much flavor. The cinnamon bread breakfast sandwich was a bit underwhelming. While the bread was very good the unmelted cheese over an egg felt very uninspired and lacked flavor. This would have been a great opportunity to use a house sauce or hot honey in tandem with more fillings such as veggies. The best way to describe is it's like a donut mixed with a great French toast... so so good.. Bellevue Bistro offers some of the best comfort food brunch options I've ever had. Literally everything on their menu sounds great, and all my visiting family loved everything we got. Sandwiches, benedicts, salads, sweets or savory, everything came out from the kitchen exactly how we ordered (and we made a few modifications), with great execution. Sure there's nothing excessively complex or difficult in some of these foods, but comfort food done well is a real comfort. read more

They have a solid menu with enough options to please everyone. I had the Fette Sau breakfast bake and french toast. I liked the bake, but it tasted much different than I was expecting. This used to be one of our favourite breakfast joints but the last couple of times had been less than stellar. That was a few years ago so we decided to give it another try. I'm happy to say they've regained their old form and this trip as everything was as good as we remembered from a long time ago. We especially always liked their breakfast and was what we got here. I tried a Kentucky Hot Brown which was a bed of biscuits covered with 2 fried eggs, bacon, turkey, cheddar jack, hollandaise sauce, crab, and tomatoes which left off of mine. It was a superb breakfast as it had a great base of biscuits and all of that delicious meat on there. They put just the right amount of sauce on there as it flavoured it perfectly without overpowering it. High recommendation for that dish. My wife loves their breakfast bakes and enjoyed the Surf And Turf one. The service was great the atmosphere was tremendous, and for us the Bellevue Bistro is back in the upper echelon of breakfast restaurants. read more

Loved everything we had! So glad we decided to try Bellevue Bistro - this will be our spot. Service was definitely good; our server was attentive and she kept us well informed of wait time. They were very accommodating with modified orders, definitely a plus and greatly appreciated. I loved the down to earth, no frills service here (not a big fan of overly 'friendly' service that stops by every 5 mins) - our service showed up whenever she needed to and kept our water glass full. I had the Bellevue bake - loved it but would love more complexity (e.g., some veggies). My partner had the Fette Sau and he loved his (I also loved his!), the mixing of flavors was good there and it's more 'fun' to eat compared to the bellevue. We also shared the french toast - I'm not a big fan of French toast but the French toast here was definitely one of my favorites. I ate half a plate despite 'not loving French toast' (lmao yes). The establishment is small in size but still comfortable. While waiting for my food I found lots of tiny Star Wars memorabilia scattered in obscure locations. I love these quaint little restaurants in Northern Kentucky! They're just such hidden gems. I came here with my sisters on a Monday morning and it was almost empty. I saw a family of three here and that was it. A few others trickled in as we sat and ate, but the snow may have drawn people away that morning. It was about 9:30am. The waitress was literally the only one taking orders and giving the food. You can pretty much just seat yourself. The space is small so I can't imagine coming on a weekend and having to wait for a table. It's kind of a hipstery place though a lot of people in work out gear came in. Either there's a gym or studio nearby or it's just the demographic? Anyway, I ordered the turkey conquistador bake upon the waitress's suggestion. It's one of her favorites. It had turkey, mushrooms, onions, sun dried tomatoes, avocado, mozzarella, and goat cheese. Loved all the flavors! Just sooo good. It had two eggs on top and potatoes underneath. I couldn't finish it! I ate half and took the rest home. My sister got the spicy mett which had mettwurst sausage, peppers, onions, apples, mozzarella, feta, bacon jam, eggs and biscuits. The flavors were interesting but I think she thought it was just okay. She also got coffee and thought it was pretty decent. My older sister got the cinnabread sandwich which had eggs and American and cheddar jack cheese. It came with potatoes and pepper jelly. Wow! I didn't get to try hers but she enjoyed it! Looked good though! Overall, this place is pretty awesome! I'd come back again and try something else. I think the price is worth what you get but it was kinda expensive.
