    Portobello bennyy

I love the take they have on breakfast and lunch food. They take the existing things that we all cherish and find a way to either make them better, make them different, elaborate on them, whatever have you! I had the Portobello Benny which was basically just their way of making a delicious eggs benedict with mostly vegetables and mushrooms. But instead of using English muffins it was more like ciabatta bread. Still so delicious! Covered in good cheese with eggs and vegetables. Was thoroughly good! My friend had The breakfast Club Panini which he said was pretty good and it also came with chips. Service was very friendly and even though they had messed up, they corrected themselves quickly and made sure that he was served the correct thing. Ambiance was very charming and there's not a lot of seats here so I could get busy at times I would assume. Definitely worth visiting for a good breakfast!

I already can't wait to go back to Bellevue Bistro! The food was incredible. I had the Fette Sau breakfast bake, with eggs and potatoes and several different meats. While we were waiting for a table we saw multiple bakes come out and they all looked so delicious. Our service was also great - there was only one waitress and she did a great job taking care of everyone's orders. The only draw back to this place is that it's very tiny. There's maybe 10 tables in the whole place. We got lucky and only had to wait a few minutes for a table, but there's a chance when you get there you won't be able to sit for a while. There's not much of a waiting area either. This was our second attempt to go, since the first time there was no tables and there were 3 other parties ahead of us. Overall, great food and good atmosphere!

Stopped here for a breakfast before leaving town. We were not disappointed. It is a quant little breakfast shop with local charm. Coffee was excellent, food was delicious. Service was friendly. Would definitely go back!

Here's to a hidden gem! 8 tables, 1 server, 1 cook and it is definitely worth the wait Table service was great! Food was hot, delicious, perfectly spiced, and presented very well Time to order was a while, however, the server was treating every table like it was her own family Food prepared with love Price is reasonable Cozy atmosphere perfect for your social pics This should be your next brunch visit Carry out service is just as amazing

Small establishment but overwhelmingly enjoyable and unique dishes. I had an egg bowl with surf and turf! Never thought of crab and scrambled eggs could be so delicious. Also great attentive service.

Best breakfast spot I've had in a while. I ordered the portabella benny, which I highly recommend. I'll attach a picture (camera did not eat first lol). Small spot, one server and from other reviews I guess one cook as well. Coming from a server, that's just so cool and unique. Took some time so if you're starving definitely recommend having your order ready right away. Overall, worth the wait. Will be back!

Tucked away in northern Kentucky, this charming brunch spot lives up to the hype with its cozy atmosphere and elevated takes on brunch classics. The food? Absolutely worth the trip. Everything we tried was clearly made from scratch and seasoned with care. From perfectly fluffy French toast to a savory hash with just the right amount of crisp and spice, each dish showed attention to detail and flavor balance. Even the coffee was above average, which is always a pleasant surprise. The only real drawback was the wait time--it took a bit to get seated, but to be fair, it's a small space and very popular. It's the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen puts love into every plate, which naturally takes a little longer. Once we were seated, service was attentive and friendly. All in all, this place is a solid go-to for a laid-back, high-quality brunch. Go with some patience and leave with a happy stomach.

I hadn't been here in over a decade, so I decided to take my son for breakfast on my day off work. It wasn't busy, being a Monday morning, which was nice. A young lady greeted us with a smile and quickly brought our beverages. We tried the French toast and it was pretty darn good. You get three large hunks of freshly (appearing to deep fried) French toast, dusted with powdered sugar, fruit, and syrup. I had the peanut butter caramel bourbon sauce option and my son had the chocolate with berries. The establishment isn't very big, but perfect for groups up to 4...maybe one group a little larger. I'm glad I revisited after so many years and it appears to be doing well! A great asset for the community.

A cozy bistro on a lively street gave a great vibe for a weekday brunch. The seating area was small but had a decent amount of seats. The staff were very friendly as well. The portobello Benedict skillet was great! The pesto and sautéed mushrooms took it over the top and added so much flavor. The cinnamon bread breakfast sandwich was a bit underwhelming. While the bread was very good the unmelted cheese over an egg felt very uninspired and lacked flavor. This would have been a great opportunity to use a house sauce or hot honey in tandem with more fillings such as veggies. The potatoes were seasoned well but weren't all that crispy, but were still good. The menu has some intriguing items on it that I'm excited to try next time!

Amazing French toast. Donut like somehow. So good!

Cozy, friendly, and really good food... I had the French toast as the other reviews recommend it. Definitely order if you are wanting an amazing treat. The best way to describe is it's like a donut mixed with a great French toast... so so good.. He got the breakfast tacos and they were so flavorful and good... for me, I will likely order these next time but will definitely ask for salsa or pico added... they are served with hot sauce and he loved it..... The quality and flavor and thought put into each dish has me looking forward to trying other options......(next time we will bring our kid so I can have a bite of her French toast lol.)

I don't know why I didn't ever review this place when I went here with my family back months ago, but better late than never right? Bellevue Bistro offers some of the best comfort food brunch options I've ever had. Literally everything on their menu sounds great, and all my visiting family loved everything we got. Sandwiches, benedicts, salads, sweets or savory, everything came out from the kitchen exactly how we ordered (and we made a few modifications), with great execution. Sure there's nothing excessively complex or difficult in some of these foods, but comfort food done well is a real comfort.

This is a cute little brunch spot. The place was packed while we were there but I wonder what it would be like if they had the outside tables open. They have a solid menu with enough options to please everyone. I had the Fette Sau breakfast bake and french toast. I liked the bake, but it tasted much different than I was expecting. It was almost as if the grease from one of the meats ran throughout the entire dish. It wasn't bad, but I would definitely get something different next time. THAT FRENCH TOAST THO!!!! I would 100% come back just for the french toast. Easily top 2 french toast I've ever had. Bonus perk: the coffee was delicious, endless, and pour your own!

What's striking about the restaurant itself is how quiet and calm it feels. With limited nightly seatings and every dinner table doing the tasting menu there's a sort of orchestrated flow that permeates the space. Not to say energy is low or it's so quiet you feel self-conscious talking; it's just that nothing about the experience feels rushed or accidental. As expected, the bread course was phenomenal as was all the food we enjoyed! We opted for the wine pairing along with dinner, which results in about 1.5 or 2 full glasses over the course of the meal. The sommelier did an excellent job introducing and explaining each wine, as well as why it was selected to pair with each course. All told, a lovely experience and one worth repeating--and not just because the menu changes every season.

The Goetta is a regional dish popular to the area comprised of sausage and potato fried like a smash burger. It was packed full of flavor and was nice and crispy. A must get was the biscuit and gravy. Unlike the southern style which is usually thick and creamy, this has amazing seasoning, plenty of the sausage crumble, and rich texture. The biscuit underneath was soft and savory and paired very well in this dish. The filet and eggs were perfectly cooked and had good flavor. There were a lot of diced potatoes on the plate to enjoy which was also well seasoned and crispy. Lastly the big easy omelette was very good. I do like the fact it was plated on top of a piece of toast. The biscuit and gravy along with the omelette gave a very strong New Orleans feeling. The cocktails also hit their mark. Local distillery Riff was the maker of the bourbon for the mule. I'm not sure of their lineup but it compared to Bulleit Bourbon. Very stable in the cocktail without being overpowering. The hard truth was a coffee with a punch and a great way to start a vacation morning. The restaurant was deceptively large from its outward appearance. There is lots of seating available and the tables moved swiftly. The large garage style doors allowed for full fresh air circulation and opens the brightness from the natural lighting. Being a corner location they were able to maximize on the opened interior dining experience. Overall 4.7 out of 5

Decided to split the Silver Charm for an appetizer, and it came about ten minutes later. The onion rings were decent, good flavor and somewhat crispy. The accompanying sauces of barbecue and ranch were both good as well, though both were missing something to elevate them a bit more I think. The flavor was good, but quite a small portion for $10. My wife ordered the Strike the Gold Burger and I went for the Northern Dancer Crispy Chicken. The sandwiches came out about ten minutes after we finished the Silver Charm, which was perfect timing. She liked her burger pretty well, and I took a bite too. The "caramelized onions" were definitely more sauteed, with still a bit of crunch, and otherwise I could really only taste the barbecue sauce, which was tasty, but I would have liked some more varied flavors. My chicken sandwich was... a bit disappointing. Rather than a chicken piece that appropriately fit the bun, it was more of a chicken strip, with bites that would only yield bun. In addition, because the chicken piece was so small, it was also extremely dry, which is a bummer because I actually thought the breading was very tasty. The chipotle aioli was decent, but didn't pack as much spice or flavor as I was hoping. And with only two toppings and a sauce on the whole sandwich, I was disappointed that the tomato was rather mushy and didn't seem fresh. I will say the fries that came with our sandwiches were crisp and well seasoned, and somewhat unfortunately the best part of my meal. Based on our experience, I didn't hate our dinner here and if someone invited me to meet them here, I wouldn't say no, but I'm also not going out of my way to revisit.

But the lovely owner/manager came over and said the "drinks are on me" because we waited so long. We appreciated that! The fried chicken was good, but the breading was very salty. The green beans were almost inedible because they were so salty. The mashed potatoes were average. The biscuits were fantastic. The fried deviled eggs were okay. A regular deviled egg is better. The shrimp and grits had a lot going on. The shrimp was lightly battered and fried (?) and the flavor of the dish was bold. I think sauteed shrimp and a little less gravy would make it perfect.
